A list of puns related to "Rainscreen"
Did your condo insurance cover it? I don't know anyone that got their insurance to pay since rainscreens are an expected replacement and so even strata insurance doesn't cover it.
It sounds like most just went with cash or had to get a line of credit to cover the big ones (like $20,000+).
Anyone have any experience with doing trim on lap siding that has rainscreen? I have some questions on doing the doors. Thanks
Iβm an Estimator and Project Manager for an exterior envelope contractor based out of Baltimore. Our company is currently looking to hire more field personnel, and move them through the ladder to become dedicated foreman and eventually superintendents. Please DM if interested and I can provide more information
I'm using battens. So there's a horizontal batten running above the door. I feel like I've exhausted all google has to offer with no luck.
Looking at replacing the siding on my garage and was wondering about rainscreens. Anyone have any experience installing these? Is it necessary if I'm installing vertical siding?
I was planning on just putting up some furring strips if I decide to go with vertical siding, but since the rainscreen thing came up I'm wondering if it's worth it to build. Also, I live in the PNW so we get quite a bit of rain, so it would make sense in my situation. But also wondering if it's a bit overkill.
