I was rewatching Jaws last night and I was so stuck by Quint's monologue about the USS Indianapolis. I wouldn't consider it the greatest performance of all time (though it is terrific) but that moment, that scene is definitely some of the greatest acting I've ever seen. Definitely aided by the fact that Robert Shaw was genuinely drunk for many of the takes but it just feels so real, you can really see the recollection in his eyes.
The mood completely changes from jovial to completely unnerving. There's something so visceral about watching his whole demeanour shift. The weird rhythms he speaks with and the slow drawly way he tells the story are just so captivating. Chilling stuff.
"Anyway, we delivered the bomb."
What are some other acting moments or scenes that in isolation you think are at the all time great level? Bonus points if there's no yelling or crying.
To be honest, I do choose the quint based on the look/appearance, which is Itsuki, because her hairstyle match for my taste, and also remind me of Rias Gremory (Highschool DxD). Also, she looks hot when wearing glasses. So that's why I go for Itsuki, because of look.
And I least like Yotsuba (sorry Yotsuba fans!!). Because she looks bland like a regular side character.
(Btw this is a favourite character on a first sight, I don't look for personality or any other than appearance)
So like, how would they find their partners and stuff like that?
I only have one and its for itsuki. Basically just the love story of her mom and maruo minus the bald dad.
It be cliche to have Miku and Nino their costumers or something like that and for ichika to fall in love to some other actor.
As in have the least interactions between them, which ones are just kind of acquaintances rather than close sisters. I personally feel like these pairings interact with each other less than they do other Quints, in your opinion which two quints are the most distant from each other.
