Hey Gardening community, new member here! I received a picea pungens glauca (blue spruce) growth box. It doesn't look anything like the seedling I was expecting..does anyone know what this could be? I've ordered 25 blue spruce seeds extra to grow myself incase the box doesn't work.

Do these ants like to klimb on plant? My crematogaster ants love to klimb on pretty much everything but my messor ants arnt big on klimbing. This makes it way saver to have plants in the messor setup than in the crematogaster setup.
So can i have plants in the setup that grow to touch the outside or would these ants start the great escape if they notice?
