A list of puns related to "Phurba"
Hello, I am English and I have been wanting to get a Tattoo of a Phurba dagger. For me it is referenced in the video game Uncharted and the film The Shadow, both of which I enjoy. Also it is a beautiful ritual tool used in several cultures that I admire. And some of the meaning and uses also create a good symbolic meaning for the tattoo. However, my concern is if it would be considered offensive or insulting to have one as a tattoo? If so, I was wondering why? And I wouldn't want to cause offence by having it tattooed on me.

I just finished playing Uncharted 2 again, and I noticed when we are in Shambhala we see the corpses of German soldiers. However, we see in chapter 3 or 4 that the golden dagger is with Marco Polo's crew. How did the Germans get into Shambhala if they never had the Phurba?
I mean it kind of already looks like an arrow, so it would fit perfect! Just flip it upside down for a downvote.
Iβm rather new to Reddit, so Iβm not sure where to go from here, but if anyone knows how to make that happen, I think it would be a great idea!
And Dorje and other ritual items made of rock crystal - are they legit, or is it New Agey? What is the specific symbolism of the crystal varieties?
At the ending of Uncharted 4, we see all of Drakes treasures throughout all of the game, and we never saw Phurba. Does he still have it, cause I donβt remember him losing it.
As a DM, for my rogue player on a campaign in the Underdark, I created a slightly cursed/slightly sentient Mind Flayer Dagger, modeled on a phurba where the pommel is the head of a Mind Flayer, and its tentacles extend down the fullers of the blades. It has azurites set for eyes that glow slightly when the player wields it. It is made of a dark metal with thick patina. The dagger has a semi-consciousness, requesting the player "feed" it by plunging it into enemies, where it drains some of their psychic energy (dealing psychic damage). This feeding also allows the wielder to cast hunter's mark on the creature. Over time as he continues to use the dagger, I intend on making it more powerful and more demanding, possibly revealing a cursed nature. My players were having trouble imagining a phurba until I showed them pictures like those linked above but if anyone could illustrate this particular dagger, that would be awesome!
Appears to be completely carved out of marbled jade, the top is an sharp beaked bird head, with skulls and snakes throughout the body of the object. Bought from an auction: http://gardnergalleries.com/online-asian-persian-arts-auction/lot/19236
