So I did an unusual thing, I first watched all the reunions from RHOA S3 till Season 10 and then started from Season 3 just because I like the reunions a lot, and I feel like they are a good summary of the season and how the show progresses.
But now, starting from Season 3 knowing about Phaedraβs downfall, I see her in a COMPLETELY different light than I probably would have if I just started the season normally.
I see right through all her antics and words and she really comes across to me as a bitter, hateful person who wants to create the perfect image but isnβt all that. I like her wit and shade but I kinda canβt seem to get myself to root for her as a person.
so i'm rewatchint ATL and reading old breads here for fun. I just found out Mr. Chocoate was Giselle's ex Jamal Bryant !?!?! And I swear he was in an episode of ATL with Phaedra when she travelled somewhere for some political thing (idk the details i can't remember)

Whatβs up with Phaedra? Iβm watching the season where there was a βbomb scareβ but turns out he just wanted to drop off βbomb musicβ?? Is she just totally fake? I can small a fake story line a mile away. Is she a real lawyer?? Kenyaβs boyfriend is breaking windows, Peter is still here even though heβs divorcing Cynthia, itβs a good season. I know this is the season that Phaedra will lie about a threesome with someone. Iβm intrigued.

First time RHOA watcher and I know some of the details about Phaedra's legal woes, the accusations, and Apollo's fraud charges. I'm on s5 and just watched Ayden's 2nd birthday party then NeNe and Cynthia talking about the voicemail that was accidentally left with Phaedra using the f-bomb to describe not caring if Cynthia went to the event or not despite her devotion to maintaining a southern belle image. At the time this episode aired, or maybe when things start to go south for Phaedra, how was this received? Did people start to think that she was fake at that moment? Just curious if this something that other people noted or not at the time the episode aired, it rocks the image that I had to her at this point, she's been good at maintaining the perfect image.

Idk if this is a hot take or not, but I just started getting into RHOA and Iβm at S9E8 (so I havenβt seen all the Kandi/Phaedra stuff go down yet), but Iβm just loving Phaedra. The way she speaks, the way she reads people, the things she says, itβs just all really giving me life and imo sheβs just great tv

I joke with them on socials from time to time about it but me and the buddies smoked a doob over the weekend and now we're all in our head that maybe it's just us. Was rewatching the 4 part reunion of RHOA season 9 4 part reunion, and had a flashback of something that legitimately happened to me that Iβve suppressed for years. I was raped by a woman (I am a woman), and it just makes me feel sick about the whole thing. I didnβt realize it was possible to be raped by a woman but it is and Kandi didnβt do that to Portia. π If youβve ever been through the same thing, I would appreciate the support. Thanks all~

I really donβt get the love for Phaedra. When they were recasting for this season I canβt believe how many people wanted her back. After what she did to Kandi I really donβt think she should ever be invited back. She accused her of rape which is just such a low blow and career damaging. Not to mention Kandi has kids and a reputation. Her kids would have seen that. No matter how much you end up hating someone that was just way too below the belt. I hope to never see her on the show again she is so calculated and evil.
I am enjoying Phaedra sooo much. Shes so funny and quick-witted. Im ONLY on S5 so I canβt believe she becomes a villain π
Now, I know what Phaedra did to Kandi and Todd was wrong (and I have always wondered if Mama Joyce had a hand in it!) but Kenya is just nasty all the time.

Can anyone explain this to me? A lot of people want Phaedra back on RHOA and I kinda get it because she had the best shade and was very entertaining. She was even my fave at one point, but it seems like people forgot what she did to Kandi in her last season about the rumor with Porsha. I donβt get how people would want her back after that but if I missed something please explain to me cuz Iβm genuinely curious.
