A list of puns related to "Pelvic Organ Prolapse"
I'm kinda stressed out. I thought I had prolapse after giving birth November 2020 because I thought I saw my cervix, but then I had a normal pap last summer. I pee during sex now (or squirt? idk). I was doing kegels wrong the entire pregnancy and after and it just made it harder to hold in urine. I only learned that recently.
Now I have bronchitis and every time I cough it's like my guts are trying to come out of my vagina. I literally hold as much pressure as I can every time to try to hold it in... and I pee myself several times/day and am wearing a pad now.
Anyone been through this? Can I still do pelvic floor PT? I do want another kid...
I am three weeks postpartum from a difficult second stage labor that resulted in a very symptomatic rectocele. If you havenโt heard of this, itโs basically a hernia in the rear wall of the vagina that allows your bowel to push through, creating a 90 degree turn in the colon that can obstruct defecation and give the sensation that something is pressurized and falling out of your vagina. Because it is (mine is past my hymen).
I feel like my life is functionally over: my identity as an active and strong person is definitely threatened, the life and new identity Iโd pictured as a physically engaged mother (picking up my kid, running around the yard, going for hikes) isnโt going to happen, and every day Iโm going to wake up and wonder if Iโll be able to take a shit or if my symptoms are going to keep me from leaving the house or being able to function and socialize that day. Iโm throwing the whole kitchen sink (fiber, fluids, coffee, stool softeners, even suppositories) at trying to move my bowels with really mixed success, and way more failed attempts and bad days than successes.
If youโre currently pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant, please go see a pelvic floor PT. I wish I had worked to correct some of my pelvic floor issues before going through this, maybe it could have prevented the prolapse from reaching this level of severity. Right now I have massive grief, overwhelming regret, and just wish I hadnโt had a kid at all so I could continue to lead a life I enjoyed. Forget about the second kid weโd planned.
Itโs unbelievable that prolapses are so common, often debilitating, and are not part of the discourse about birth injury and postpartum recovery. I had to fight to get an in person follow up appointment two weeks after birth, meanwhile my kid has had three. Plus, I feel like I canโt tell friends and family about it without the symptoms being minimized or dismissed, partly because no one has heard about it. Why are we so hyper focused on โbouncing backโ visually but not functionally?
I am in my mid twenties and never had children.
For a couple weeks I have had a weird sensation in my vagina, usually I wouldnโt be aware of any feelings in my vagina during the day but now it almost feels like there is something small inside (maybe like a tampon thatโs not properly inserted)
Iโm not sure if this is just PMS as I am leading up to my period or if itโs something more serious.
My doctors only offer same day appointments if itโs urgent and I feel ridiculous calling up and suggesting I have a Pelvic Organ Prolapse based on a worry.
Otherwise my options are to wait two weeks for a appointment.
I have recently joined a weights gym and have classes weekly where we do weight and strength training. I noticed during skipping I am urinating slightly which again is a worry.
How common is a prolapse for women who havenโt had children am I being dramatic over a change in my body or should I see I doctor? Has anyone here had a prolapse and been in their twenties and without children
I'm also a trans man, I heard being on testosterone for a long enough time causes bad changes to the uterus so it's recommended to remove it, I also want to get a bisalp just in case of course. But hystos cause pelvic organ prolapse??? I understand it's because there will be a huge gap inside and nothing to hold up the above organs which will cause serious rearrangements, but come the fuck on!!! Do I have to come up with a different plan? Wait no I'll have to remove the uterus anyway because of T. Fuck. Is the prolapse really serious or dangerous?
EDIT: Thank you all so much for explaining this to me. I was frankly terrified when I heard about this risk, but now I know that I shouldn't worry so much. I think I'll really get a hysto in the future. I'm childfree, never had and never will have kids, and am planning to get back to working out, which will hopefully help the pelvic floor muscles. I'm phobic of bad things happening to my body so following the doctor's orders will be a given. Also, apparently hystos are actually optional for transmasc people on T, but since it still increases the risk of weird things happening to the internal sex organs I still wanted to do it anyway hahah
For reference, I am 23 years old, not taking any medications, birth control, have not had any kids.
โข Constant lower bloat/drooping near my bladder. Here are some photos for reference: https://imgur.com/a/jDO8otG
โข Urinating less than expected despite feeling like I need to urinate - my bladder doesnโt hold as much urine as it used to. At its worst Iโll leak urine but does not happen very often.
โข Uncomfortable/heavyish feeling between my legs and overall pelvic region that goes away when I lay or sit down, tends to fluctuate and symptoms improve after a few days-weeks but can get annoying again if I do any really heavy lifting. Overall just a weak feeling down there and that weakness feeling tends to improve/fluctuate if I donโt do anything to strain myself.
โข Weaker urine stream and I canโt strain the muscle so that urine comes out stronger if that makes sense.
โข At its worst and during the early stages of my symptoms I was experiencing urinary frequency, pelvic pain but these symptoms have pretty much subsided with time, all thats left is this horrible weak feeling that makes it uncomfortable to walk around.
โข Symptoms are alleviated a bit when I stretch my pelvic floor.
โข At one point I was even experiencing constipation, for actual months and even noticed a change in stool and tons of bile but that has self resolved.
Can anyone relate to my symptoms? I will be seeing an OBGYN tomorrow and setting up an appointment with a urogynecologist soon to hopefully get this resolved soon as I donโt feel right.
So, uh, yeahhhhhhhhhhh. I was advised about 3-4 years ago that I wasn't imagining things and that my front vaginal wall was, in fact, prolapsing... I've worked on my Kegels and the like religiously, but I've had to admit recently (aka tonight) that my back vaginal/rectal wall has also decided that it would like to exit my body (downstage, pursued by bear /s) at an alarmingly rapid rate. My cervix has also turned traitor, so you know, it's been a day!
Have any of you all experienced this and if so, what did you do? I've heard absolute horror stories about vaginal mesh and I'm not even sure that's an available option anymore, but what in the bloody hell do they do in place of that?
I'm the oldest female member of my direct family line with EDS to still even have their uterus, etc. but clearly that's not something that's likely to be a continued option...I'd greatly appreciate hearing about anyone else's experience and/or GYN surgeon suggestions, because I'm at a complete loss.!
Iโm 35 years old and have pelvic organ prolapse. When I was first diagnosed I was depressed and disgusted but in seeking treatment and information Iโm living a fulfilled life. I want you to know that your life doesnโt have to stop with prolapse. Open to answering any questions you may have.
I am only 10 months into this-my pain started last year and I have been trying to find answers. The first obgyn (after ultrasound, pap, and colposcopy) told me that sometimes periods are painful... So I was referred to another, and she seemed to just obsess over me mentioning back pain-and said it is likely prolapse. Apparently there is a little movement of my uterus. When I brought up the pelvic pain, she said that because it started suddenly, it is unlikely that it is endo.
My back pain is minimal-I mentioned it because I typically have back pain at the beginning of my period, and the first thing I said to her was โit feels like I am constantly on the first day of my period, such as back pain, cramps etcโ...
I have no issues having sex (no pain...it is actually a good pain reliever if my stomach doesnโt feel like it will explode), no problem going to the bathroom. And those all seem to be the big signs of prolapse.
I feel like a moron already seeing two different doctors, and โnot likingโ their response...it really makes me feel like I am crazy and this is all in my head.
My pelvic floor is weak (thank you giant headed children), but could prolapse explain the bloating and extreme pain?
Hello all,
Has anybody been diagnosed with some sort of pelvic organ prolapse (rectal, urethral, bladder or uterine, or all of those) and has it turned out to be related to your vulvar pain?
I am pretty sure I have at least mild rectal and urethral prolapse but it could very well be a seperate issue that is simply a cause of discomfort.
Thanks =)
I have a grade 3 cystocrle/rectocele that appeared 2nd tri. Iโm now 32w and the pain is getting almost unbearable. Has anyone experienced this? I plan to get surgery postpartum, but am hoping for some method of relief other than taking it easy/putting my feet up (impossible with an 18 month old!).
I posted this under Pelvic Floor as well but decided this is also a good place to post
I am going to be very candid over my POP issues so if you donโt want to read about a females health issues related to pregnancy please scroll past.
I am 36 years old with a BMI of 25.4, I workout doing HITT and love it. Iโve had 2 vaginal births where my first child was 5lbs 5oz and the doctor preformed an episiotomy due to baby going into distress, second child was quite a bit larger at 8lbs 3oz and I had a second degree tear. After the birth of my second I was experiencing stress incontinence and just a kinda overall loose jiggly feeling in my lower abdomen. I thought I need to just tighten up my core once again and that is when I started going HITT, I noticed a lose in inches but not weight which I am happy with but I couldnโt get my core to function correctly.
I had an umbilical hernia so had surgery to fix it hoping that was the culprit and was scheduled to start pelvic floor therapy. Due to my incontinence I had an evaluation done where it was determined I would need vaginoplasty based off of severe elasticity of the vaginal canal (4 finger width opening), I had this determination confirmation by a second doctor back in October. Fast forward to January where I started to have a fullness feeling in my vagina and was diagnosed with stage 2 bladder prolapse with stage 1 rectal prolapse, I am absolutely devastated because my vaginoplasty was scheduled for the 25th of this month and I was thinking my problems would be resolved!
Now I am waiting on a different surgeon to tell me what the options are for correcting everything, I really donโt want mesh since I am so young and know that it wonโt last. My regular OBGYN advised against any action but that means that I would have to live with peeing myself after any cough or sneeze, oh and donโt even get me started on having a healthy sex life. I did request she put in an updated prescription for PFT since the prolapse is a new development, waiting on them to contact me.
I want these things fixed but it is difficult finding any information or health forums, why oh why are women shafted on all medical needs related to pregnancy/delivery?! It should be mandatory treatment for pelvic floor therapy for all women pre/postpartum, guess thatโs another discussion entirely. I will update my journey in this thread so that it might help another woman down the road. Want to also advise this is my journey and I am not a doctor o
... keep reading on reddit โกI'm pretty sure I have uterine prolapse. My OB/Gyn appt is tomorrow and I'd figured I would embrace a total hysterectomy (just leave my one ovary) but now I'm questioning my approach.
I was afraid my period would start the other day, so I put in a cup. When I pinched it to break the seal and take it out, I felt tissue - my cervix seemed to be in the cup. It was hanging really low.
It isn't surprising, really, in that I knew my pelvic floor is abnormally weak after a pretty horrible post-birth experience almost 13 years ago. It just never occurred to me that organs falling out through the vagina was a thing that could happen.
In comparison to that delivery, a subsequent C-section and later ovary removal following a ruptured grapefruit-sized cyst both seemed like a breeze. I regretted not having a total hysterectomy with the oophrectomy. So when I felt this, knowing my past failure to comply with physical therapy, I figured I'd go for the hysterectomy now.
BUT after doing a few kegels, they seem to have retreated back up. Is that a thing that happens? Does it indicate that PT would be super easy and effective and not require too much consistency (consistency is my weakest trait.) And a few people have told me recovery from their prolapse repair surgeries was awful. And, of course, hysterectomy appears to be a risk factor for other organs prolapsing. Oh, and the class actions from the mesh slings scare me.
What are your thoughts and experiences? I had no idea this was so common, but apparently it is.
TL;DR - I thought I wanted a hysterectomy to deal with suspected uterine prolapse, but do I really?
Iโm 15, and Iโve been dealing with the same problem for a month or two. It feels as if something is in my vagina and Iโm not able and too scared to ask a doctor. I took a look down there today and it looked like there was more wall inside. The only thing Iโve been able to find about this is pelvic organ prolapse. Can someone please give me a lead I am so sick of this feeling.
Hi! FTM and gave birth in July. My OB recommended pelvic floor therapy as I described some leakage and weakness issues with those muscles. Yesterday I went to a separate womenโs clinic for initial evaluation and was told I have Stage 2 prolapse! Iโm scheduled to start therapy right away but reeling a bit as I had no idea. Anyone have experience with this? Did therapy help? I donโt want to have to do more invasive interventions. Thanks!
I posted this in another sub., trying to get advice and answers.
BBC article about misuse of the cup causing pelvic organ prolapse. This particularly stood out to me:
โPhysiotherapist Kate Lough told the BBC: "Having looked at some of the information on some of the cups - particularly the information about taking the cup out -[it] is not correct and is hard to understand," she said. "Using your pelvic floor muscles to bring the cup lower in the vagina is not correct." She added: "Bearing down on the cup to push it within reach of your fingers is not good pelvic floor advice. "It counters the advice women would be given to avoid prolapse."โ
About two years ago my cup just didn't work anymore, constantly leaking and I still canโt figure out what Iโm doing. I was changing my cup before bed when I felt my cervix very low. I donโt know if Iโve just never noticed it before, but Iโm the past Iโve never been able to even reach my cervix (period or not) and now Iโm worried. Iโve been trying to research to understand how exactly to tell you have have a uterine prolapse by blinding checking your vagina.
I went to the doctor last or earlier this year for a yeast infection and I guess they didnโt notice anything. If anyone can offer advice or insight, Iโd be really grateful. Has anyone experienced cervix issues?
I an 26F and I was diagnosed level/grade 2 pelvic organ prolapse a few years after a large vaginal birth. Specifically had uterine prolapse and mild stress incontinence. I did 7 months of pelvic floor physical therapy and have mostly resolved the incontinence. I do continue to have a lot of discomfort from the uterine prolapse with bulging sensations, cramping, pain during sex, etc. although the discomfort is nothing like prior to physical therapy. There are also a lot of activities I can no longer do due to pain or discomfort like jogging, weightlifting, even traveling for work is hard because stress/sitting long periods/ carrying luggage causes pain.
My gyno has suggested a hysterectomy (leave ovaries, not sure about cervix at this point). I went back for a checkup after completing physical therapy and still about a grade 2 prolapse. I started a hormonal birth control because a lot of my discomfort was around ovulation and right before my period. It has helped โdullโ the discomfort but still regularly feeling terrible.
Has anyone had a hysterectomy due to POP? I am afraid of more incontinence issues since I had some issues prior to physical therapy. What is to say that my bladder doesnโt shift and prolapse like my uterus was?
Iโd love to hear some accounts whether positive or negative because I have no idea what to think. I donโt plan to have any more children so that is not an issue.
First I just want to say how wonderful this community is! Iโve been lurking tons of posts searching for answers/advice and the outpouring of support on here is amazing! So, Iโm here posting my current situation and hoping to get some feedback from some of you that are fresh post-op and some of you who have had a hysterectomy years ago. Also, sorry for the lengthy post ๐ฌ
Iโm 26 and have recently found out I have stage 2 pelvic organ prolapse, and will need surgery to correct this. The doctors believe this is mostly stemming from my last birth (9+ pounds naturally). Initially my GYN told me I would need a hysterectomy and a sacrocolpopexy to correct the 3 compartment prolapse I have. Unfortunately GYNs donโt do these surgeries where I live so I had to be referred to a different surgeon. Fast forward to this past Friday, and the new surgeon confirms that I need the surgery for the POP and a surgery for stress incontinence. However, he says my uterus is falling but not enough quite yet to โrequireโ surgery. He said he can take it out if I choose but it may increase the chance of needing a POP correction surgery later. Yet, my uterus is already dropping and I may need the hysterectomy at a later date anyways. I have two kids and have had a tubal ligation so while itโs still a bit of a shock to hear about a hysterectomy, I didnโt plan on having any more kids. I do have terribly heavy periods and am thinking Iโm leaning more towards having the hysterectomy but am also scared of having a POP relapse. Iโm going to weigh my pros and cons after my next period and make a decision. Also, I will be going to pelvic floor physical therapy until my surgery.
I would like to get some feedback from people that have recently had a hysterectomy and people who are a few years post op on the overall experience and how you are feeling after surgery? Also, has anyone experienced pelvic organ prolapse after surgery?
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks!
I am in my early 30s with no kids. My periods have always been painful, mostly in my lower back. Only in the last few years have I realized that lower back pain isnโt a โnormalโ part of your period. I have also always felt a โbulgeโ out of my vagina while on my period. I also thought this was normal. In the last two years I have become constipated quite often and occasionally have spotting if I have to strain for a bowel movement. I mentioned this to my gynecologist about 18 months ago and had a transvaginal ultrasound which was normal.
About two months ago I had some urinary pain and tested negative for a UTI so I went to my gynecologist again. I mentioned that I think I have a prolapse and she did an exam and said she didnโt see anything. She mentioned my uterus sits low and my cervix might slip down (something like that- I have a bad memory) but she didnโt see a prolapse and I got another ultrasound which again didnโt show anything. I am 99% sure I have a pelvic organ prolapse of some sort because I can feel it when wiping and have looked a few times when Iโm sitting on the toilet but when I lay down and have my husband look, he says he doesnโt see anything. Iโm sure my next step is PT which I am all for but I really hope the answer isnโt a pessary because that terrifies me. I have never been a tampon user and the idea of a menstrual cup freaks me out.
Does anyone have any advice? Itโs honestly affecting my mental health, itโs all I can think about recently.
So right inside my vagina, to the anterior side (facing my belly button) thereโs what feels like a mound of somewhat spongy tissue that my finger hooks or curls around before proceeding through the canal. Iโve always assumed this was just my pubic bone, but when I think about how, logistically, a baby is meant to clear that thing, that makes less sense. I worry that I might have a cystocele - a small prolapse of the bladderโs position in the pelvic region so that it bulges into the wall of the vagina. The only thing is, Iโm 21, have never had children (let alone PIV-intercourse), have always been a normal weight, have a little history of any medical conditions or complications in my life, and, to the best of my knowledge, have no disorder of the connective tissues.
I have no clue if what Iโm feeling is normal or not and Iโd love some input - this has me feeling very anxious and frustrated.
I'm (29F) thinking of having a second baby but am terrified of my moderate prolapse getting worse. My doctor said that pregnancy and labour could make it worse but not necessarily. Are there any women out there willing to share their prolapse stories with me?Was the pregnancy more uncomfortable than the first? Did you have a vaginal birth? Did your prolapse/symptoms get worse?
I have pelvic organ prolapse (bladder/cystocele) as well as stress incontinence and a damaged perineum (thank you 9lb baby with shoulder dystocia!) I have surgery to correct those issues scheduled for 1/2/20. At my last appointment the doctor very nonchalantly mentioned that he typically does a hysterectomy at the same time. I left the appointment feeling super anxious about it. I have preoperative testing this Friday (urodynamics and another pelvic exam) and then we will sit down with the surgeon while he makes a game plan for surgery. I have a lot of concerns about having a hysterectomy. My husband had a vasectomy so, we are finished having kids but Iโm very concerned about sexual dysfunction post op. Iโd like to have the prolapse issues resolved without a hysterectomy but I donโt know if thatโs possible. If itโs not, I think Iโd like to try and keep my cervix. I donโt have any issues other than the POP that would require removing my reproductive organs. Iโm worried about shortening my vagina and losing my ability for natural lubrication and intense orgasms. Can anyone put me at ease or is it as bad as Iโm reading?
Unrelated: has anyone successfully breastfed post op after 1-2 nights in the hospital and all of the lifting restrictions? Iโm not really worried about the anesthesia and meds, more so lack of supply after not nursing for a few days.
I'm in my late 20s and had a difficult vaginal childbirth 2 years ago (baby was 9.5 lbs). After 27 hours of labour, an extra large episiotomy and some forceps, I became a mother. I felt like I always had a small prolapse but after a difficult bowel movement a week ago it felt like I was sitting on a ball, checked the mirror and noticed a pale pink bulge at the opening of my vagina. By the time I got to the obgyn it had receded. She didnt tell me much. Just that it was a prolapse and she referred me to a PT and sent me on my way. Went to the PT Friday morning and she said that my pelvic floor muscles were strong but I had a lot of scar tissue and she advised me to massage it out. She thought it was a stage 1 but I'm not so sure. In the morning I'll have some pressure down there, some back pain, but no bulge. By the end of the day I have shooting pains in my lower back, bad abdominal cramping and can feel my prolapse in the opening of my vagina. I went 3 days without a bowel movement despite taking stool softeners. Finally had a morning BM but it wasn't much and afterwards it felt like the end of the day.
My questions are: Should it be hurting this bad? How can I manage the pain? If my pelvic muscles are strong, why cant they conquer gravity? Can I get pregnant again?
I'm 24F and have had two pelvic surgeries this year. The first was January 31 and was a vestibulectomy (some NSFW diagrams/pictures here that detail the surgery). The surgery is local to the bottom wall of the vagina and is fairly small. It healed perfectly, but my pain was unchanged, so I had the surgery repeated June 20, per my surgeon's recommendation.
I'm now 12 weeks post-op, and I've recently developed some swelling (or at least what looks like swelling) along the top wall of my vagina. It doesn't look red or inflamed, and it does not hurt to touch. It just seems like it is expending into the vaginal canal and almost completely blocking the entrance.
I was supposed to see my surgeon a week ago for a post-op visit, but I'm located in the Southeast, and my appointment was cancelled because of Dorian. It was rescheduled, but it's two weeks further out than it originally was. And my surgeon is completely slammed playing catch-up, so I can't see him sooner.
Not only is the "swelling" in a location completely untouched by the surgery, but it wasn't there before 7-10 days ago. It wasn't there when I last saw my doctor, and it certainly didn't happen after my first surgery.
Could this be a type of prolapse? I've looked up images of different types of pelvic organ prolapse, and none of them seem quite right. But I just don't know what else it could be? And if it is prolapse, how worried should I be? Nothing is actually outside of my vagina at this point, but it's right at the entrance, maybe a couple of millimeters back.
For whatever it's worth, I did have a variety of complications after both surgeries, but none of them involved that part of my vagina. It was mostly excessive bleeding at the surgical site and general EDS/MCAS/POTS/MVP flare issues.
I'm happy to answer any questions if it helps. Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
Editing to address possible issues with soliciting medical advice. I should clarify that I'm not looking for verification on whether this is prolapse. Rather, I'm wondering if anyone here has had experience with prolapse that presented in a not-obvious way, and how urgent it was to be treated in their experience. Obviously, I've already reached out to my doctor and will be treated professionally as soon as possible, but I'm just hoping for some personal experience in the meantime. :)
I have just recently been diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse (cystocele, enterocele, rectocele and rectal intussusception) after having imaging done last week (defecography). I also was diagnosed last year with a rectal prolapse and had surgery that fixed that problem. I am 26 years old, and live a healthy and fairly active lifestyle. I was a competitive swimmer all through middle and high school and into part of college. I have had a history of constipation, but otherwise don't have (or haven't experienced) any of the other things that typically lead to these pelvic floor-related issues developing (e.g. I haven't had kids etc.). So I guess I am posting here to see if there is anyone else who this has happened to? Or advice of any kind people have? I am going to go see someone to do pelvic floor PT, but otherwise I feel kind of uncertain as to where to look for resources etc. Thanks!
I am 14 weeks PP and was diagnosed w/ grade 2 rectocele and cystocele and grade 1 uterine prolapse at 7 weeks. If you've been diagnosed with POP and gone down the rabbit hole of googling your condition is can be really depressing - I wanted to share a couple of the resources I found to be useful.
Pelvic floor PT - I highly recommend going to one if you can afford it! They are truly the experts and can help you manage your POP.
That being said, most PFPTs have long waiting lists and are often expensive. My local one had such a long waiting list I went with a home visit PT who doesn't take insurance (she is fabulous though - highly recommend following her on instagram ladybirdpt). So if you can't make it to a PT I highly recommend an online course called POP Uplift that walks you through your diagnosis and recovery techniques as well as a 12 week fitness program. It was cheaper than one visit to my PT.
Even more useful to me than the course was the Facebook group that came along with it. My diagnosis has resulted in a cycle of grief/anger/hopeless and hearing the stories of others going through the same thing has helped immensely. If you are looking for a good cry/needing some hope watch this.
One thing to remember, even though most people's grade of POP can't be improved - your symptoms absolutely can.
Any other resources out there you'd recommend?
Is it possible to have a pelvic organ prolapse only at certain times? Embarrassingly, I thought it was normal to have something poking out of your vagina on your period. I can really only tell when I am wiping, thereโs no pain or pressure. I also can feel it when Iโve been extra constipated and spent more time/energy on the toilet. I asked my gyno about it and she said she didnโt see anything but my cervix sits low and itโs possible my uterus slips down (or something like that).
I also had my husband look one time where it felt extra prolapsed and he didnโt see anything either. But both times I was laying down and I have read that you really need to be standing for a proper exam. I had a transvaginal ultrasound and it came back fine. I am hoping to get in with a pelvic floor therapist but have been putting it off due to COVID-19. I was just curious if itโs possible to only feel it during certain times.
Gynecologist was a bust; all they wanted to do were pointless vaginal ultrasounds and then act like nothing was wrong. But I'm not sure where to look next -- urogyn? Colorectal? Who is the best person for internal prolapses happening behind the uterus? (Like a loop of intestine that has sort of...descended and gotten stuck back there?)
I'm also a trans man (pre-everything though), I heard being on testosterone for a long enough time causes bad changes to the uterus so it's recommended to remove it, I also want to get a bisalp just in case of course.
I'm pre everything right now. I'm also childfree and wanting to get sterilized. I heard being on testosterone for a long enough time causes bad changes to the uterus so it's recommended to remove it, I also want to get a bisalp just in case of course. Maybe I can stay on T for a long enough time til I get all the changes I need, then get off T, wait for the uterus to improve, then get an abilation??? I don't know what to do.
