A list of puns related to "Pancrase"
Iβm still a little confused on exactly what Pancrase was. Iβve heard it described as pro wrestling but a complete shoot. Back in the early days, 1993 etc, did they still appear under different names and have gimmicks and stroylines and everything? Promos? Or was it just strictly an mma promotion before mma was really a thing ?

>There has been talk of a Pancrase USA promotion but done as pro wrestling with Pancrase rules, where itβll be likely the early days with mixed styles. At one point they were going to debut in January with Josh Barnett vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr., but that show was canceled before it was announced. The idea is for Guy Mezger to be in charge, who was one of the early Pancrase stars in the 90s in Japan, with the old rules with the open hand strikes, no head punches allowed, kicks allowed but the emphasis on wrestling and submissions, with rope break rules.

Basically everything the title says, what do you all think about 30 minute rounds and how they'd effect modern MMA and the UFC's landscape? I feel like if you give some cardio beasts like Max or Kamaru no breaks they'd run people to death much easier, but I also feel like someone like Mark Hunt or Derrick Lewis may end up winning often at heavyweight on just having power later. All very hypothetical just wondered what y'all thought?
Also no slaps regular UFC rules just 30 minutes with no breaks. Also I'd be interested in top fighters y'all think could take the champ if given no break. For example, while Jose Aldo was champ I feel like if it was 30 minute rounds he wouldn't have managed to keep his title as long as he did. If Yoel didn't have a break in the corner I think he would lose in a lot more match ups honestly. Also I weirdly feel like if Shane Burgos had 30 minutes he'd be much higher ranked.
