A list of puns related to "Njord"
I would like to now share the story of the current ruler of our solar system, Njord also known as Sin, Nannar, Khonsu, Dionysus, Hyperion, The King of Tyre, and currently Khan Allah. Njord is a prince of the Sirius Empire, the grandson of King Bor Anu.
His father has been known as Enlil, Yahweh, Zeus, Jupiter, Beelzebub, Nunamnir, and Indra. His mother is known as Ninlil, Sud, or Hera.
His oldest half brother was Ninurta aka Michael or Ares, who was Enlil's oldest child, born from Enlil's half sister Idunn aka Ninmah, Ninhursag, Demeter, Lilith, and the Minoan Snake Goddess.
His younger brother is Ba'al aka Ishkur or Adad.
Njord's children are:
His oldest child is Hela aka Ereshkigal or Persephone. Her mother is Loki Abraxas, who shapeshifted into a woman to seduce Njord in his youth at a drunken party.
And his twins Freya aka Inanna, Ishtar, Nanna, Artemis, Kali and Diana.
Freyr aka Utu Shamash, Helios, Apollo, and Gabriel.
To start off the story of Njord, I will start with before Njord was born. Njord's father Yahweh was born to King Bor Anu and Queen Antu, his half sister, and was their oldest son together, although not Bor Anu's eldest son. When Yahweh was born, Anu's eldest son and heir was Odin, aka Ea, Asar, Ptah, Adonai, Poseidon, and many other names, some of the stories of Yahweh were also actually about Odin as well, but for this story when I say Yahweh I am talking about Odin's younger half brother. Odin was already ancient when Yahweh was born. Yahweh was born only a couple million years ago. Odin's mother was Queen Nommu, a Dragon Queen of the Orion Empire, daughter of Tiamat.
King Bor Anu and Odin are both over 1 billion years old. King Bor Anu was the son of the very first incarnation of Christ within our reality, King Buri Anshar. During his incarnation of Buri Anshar, he founded the Sirius Empire and the Galactic Federation and lead the armies of Light in the Demiurge war, and several wars against the Draco. Christ has continued to incarnate within the royal bloodline of the Sirius Empire nearly every time he has chosen to incarnate into our reality. King Bor Anu was Buri's sixth son, and spent millions of years away from the Sirius Empire, before finally returning and taking the throne for himself.
King Bor Anu and his son Odin spent many years fighting in the Demiurge and Draco wars, having had several homes throughout the Pleiades and other nearby solar systems. It was King Bor Anu and his son Odin who comm

EDIT: For context, I was more or less told that my job was in danger today (I work in a warehouse). I offered a part of my lunch to Neorth, with whom I have a small relationship, and left the channel open for guidance after I explained my situation. I felt guided to say certain things to my boss, and everything seems to be trending upward. I attribute that to Neorth, so hail to the god of commerce.

Last night, I was reading the story of how Skadi married Njord and their compromise to live in one's house for nine days and then live in another's for the same duration. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. Njord didn't like the bitter cold of the mountains and Skadi didn't like the sea beach. They both decided to separate. So my question is did they decided to just live separately or separate from each other as in marriage anullment as long distance marriage wasn't going to work out for them?
For those who are unfamiliar with me, I am a reconstructionist who honors both the Gaelic and Norse pantheons. I have been very careful to keep my ceremonies and devotions to these two pantheons very separate, with the view that should I ever mix them, it must be done very carefully and thoughtfully ... and with the above named deities, I am sensing a strong 'pull.' I think maybe the archtypalists here are beginning to affect my judgement (that's humor, folks...)
Njord is not the god of the sea, but of sailors and sailing (Aegir is the Sea.) He is not of the original Aesir, but a Vanir god, who ends up joining the Aesir and defending and working with them. He ends up marrying Skadi, another deity who is not an Aesir, but a Jotunn (or giantess in some translations and later folklore) Her domain is the mountains, and she is associated with winter and snow. Their marriage is not successful, as Njord prefers to live at the seaside, and Skdi prefers the snowy mountains.
In Gaelic lore, Manannan Mac Lir is also not The Sea, but he is "Mac Lir," the son of the sea. He guides sailors, cloaks those he is defending in fog, and is the god of the Otherworld. Just as Njord is not originally "of the Aesir," Manannan is not of the "tuatha de Danaan," the key race of Gaelic gods. And yet, when the Tuautha de are defeated and need to retreat to the Otherworld, it is Manannan who provides each with their own home there.
In one bit of Irish lore, he marries An Cailleach. An Cailleach (who, for reference, is the deity to whom I am closest), is described as a giantess, who existed long before the Tuatha de. In fact, she is considered one of the most ancient deities in Ireland and Scotland; Scottish lore is consistent in seeing her as the Goddess of Winter, from Samhain to Beltain, and as the creator-goddess to made the mountains of the Scottish Highlands and islands of western Scotland by arranging boulders. The blanket of snow across the Highlands each winter is said to be the 'first tartan,' that of An Cailleach draping her white cloth across the land. She brings the snow, herds deer, and is the most formidable force in Scotland. In one Irish myth, she turns to stone waiting for Manannan to return from the sea from her mountain top perch.
I can not avoid the many similarities between these two sets: all four are from outside the predominant race of gods, all have unsuccessful marriages, the goddesses are both goddesses of the mountains and the snows, and both

Why would you ban for an obvious meme you have to encourage this behavior it’s the one thing keeping this subreddit alive is the dumb memes I’ve helped moderate with servers outside of Reddit before I could never understand banning for a reason as stupid as this it kills the community and discourages FUN
