A list of puns related to "Nhk World"
I really want to watch LIVE KΕhaku Uta Gassen NYE show , I also have japanese vpn if needed
NHK 31,684 files for download
So here is what this collection contains
I downloaded all the VOD files in all resolutions available.
Plus everything Sharinq had, BARAKANiO downloads, nhk-world.archivist.observer and others.
NHK World is one of the smaller projects I am working on, but it is also the messiest collection I have ever seen.
I am referring to file naming conventions etc.
To fix this I have started renaming every file, even ones released by groups like TrollHD
In order to clean the entire collection and not have exact duplicates a standardized naming system needed to be created.
This requires removing all spaces, special characters like '! etc
Spaces are replaced with a . (period)
commas where they used it to define different topics/subjects have been replaced with _ (Underscore)
Every file now starts with NHK. in its title, followed by Show name, then (Underscore)
Dates have been changed to YYYY-MM-DD preceded and followed by (Underscore)
All VOD files for now contain the Date, and the resolution etc ends like this
_320p-NHK-VOD.mp4
_640p-NHK-VOD.mp4
_1280p-NHK-VOD.mp4
_1920p-NHK-VOD.mp4
Eventually ALL releases will look something like this:
NHK.3-Minute.Maiko_2021-02-24_Maiko_320p-NHK-VOD
NHK.10.Years.With.Hayao.Miyazaki_S01E01_Ponyo.is.Here_1080i.HDTV.MPA2.0.H.264-TrollHD
This is done so it is actually easy to parse file names into columns, which makes it far easier to create a renaming system.
By doing this it will allow to easily find files which are exactly the same size etc for a given episode and purge duplicates.
As I said earlier I downloaded all the VOD files, you will know the VOD files are directly from NHK via the end of the file name which I named:
-NHK-VOD
There are still more files for me to load into the Open Directory. But I thought I thought people might like access even before everything is completed.
PLEASE, keep in mind I have not finished editing file names etc. I know there are some errors in file names, plus the renaming is FAR from over.
I am saying this for the hoarders out there, do not bother trying to mirror everything, simply take what you need now to watch etc.
You are Welcome to mirror it, but later the vast majority will have NEW file names.
So do NOT say I did not warn you!
So far I have transferred 12.6TB of the 16.1TB I have.
Later tonight or tomorrow I will start transferring the rest, it should on
... keep reading on reddit β‘I enjoy a great variety of the shows on this program, but thereβs some phrases and tropes that are somewhat overused, which makes me chuckle sometimes. In fact, I like to play a game occasionally, which is to predict which phrase or trope will probably come up next. Hereβs some of my favorites, would love to hear yours:
Hi! I don't really like watching some of the NHK World shows such as Begin Japanology because the Japanese voices are voiced-over with English :( Somehow it just feels off-putting and annoying. Can you recommend some shows on NHK World that are with original Japanese voices? Anything goes really. Thanks!
Hello! Last night an NHK world prime documentary aired called "My School of Many Colors". I absolutely loved it and was looking forward to watching it again only to notice it's one of the few episodes that doesn't have a VOD option...
Does anyone have any way to watch this? It doesn't list any other time that it's showing again, so I'm worried it will just slip in to the abyss and never be seen again.
Looks like they'll be splitting the next episode with another group but hopefully there will be a live in studio performance as well as an interview. Check your local listings but J-Melo, which is a Japanese music show, airs Sunday mornings. The schedule is below (page down to the bottom for the 11/14 show). It looks like you might also be able to view it live online via the website:
