A list of puns related to "Nepali People"
There's a whole world to explore outside of Nepal but I rarely see Nepalis living in western countries hanging out with the locals there or other foreigners. From their social media posts at least. What might be the reason for it? Has it much to do with the language barrier?
Kyarna khojekaauu? Dimagaaa achi bharyo cha kya? Palla ghare maila ba ka suputra le satechan areeโฆ 2-4 barsa nepalaaa basesi taha huncha si ma tokni laiโฆ jadrai ris utho kyarni ho ra.
I realise whenever I leave positive and uplifting comments I get a lot of people downvoting it. I see people that respond to me in a negative manner get upvotes. Do people realise they have a negative mind and try to improve on it or is it just unconscious behaviour? Do people not realise having a positive mindset is better for you and also it can be trained.
There are two types of people, the thrivers and the survivors. I have never seen a person with a negative mindset thrive in life. Is it just me that thinks a large portion of Nepali have negative mindset? It seems to me that it's always the positive people despite all odds and suffering that keep moving forward with faith and positivity that end up thriving in life.
I know this sounds a bit awful but I'm only curious. Why do some Nepalese look more Indian and some look more East Asian?
Especially friends and relatives. I'm one of those people who likes to share my 'success' with people, and would love to hear other people's success stories as well. It's kinda of motivating. When I meet people more 'successful' than me, I want to learn from them. But a lot of the people around me are the complete opposite. I, once, shared how I was earning decent money trading on secondary market to my friend, he went to ramble how he isn't as rich as I am and told me to shut up. I wonder how he would have reacted if I told him my monthly income. It's like people just don't want others to succeed. Is it the same for you guys? Or am I just hanging out with a bunch of low lives who like to drag other people down?
How much does politics in India affect Nepal. Like if something big happens in India..does it receprocate in Nepal socially or politically. More important question...how much does hindutva politics affect Nepal??
So, I apologize if this offends anyone at the start, that is not my intention at all. As a person who grew up in the USA when I visit Nepal I am pretty disgusted by the toilets/washrooms in Nepal. The ones provided by restaurants are bad but the public ones are even worse. So my question is why are the people content with facilities like those? Why don't competing businesspeople build cleaner facilities? Will that not bring in more customers? Or will people not care? Like I am so amazed at peoples lack of wanting cleaner facilities. Because if people really did want cleaner facilities, business would have to improve to stay in business or newer business would take their customers.
Bau aama xora ko jhagada parda xora le siddhai(sabai le sunne gari) "Timiharko ekxin ko ramailo le garda maile jindagi vari runu paryo" vanda kasto achamma lagyo, Nepal ta laast develop vayexa, k vanne k, I cannot cope with such modern people.
Is it because that's not part of our culture? I'm not talking about mundre ko comedy club, magne buda type of shit. Just in general.
I donโt understand how the uncle Aunty types here in the US are so skeptical about the vaccine. They believe theories of their friends who work at warehouse or gas station instead of believing the experts.
If they need heart surgery, will they go to their friends for surgery? Or to the same doctor who is requesting them to take the vaccine.
I had a discussion with this heavy smoker uncle who is ok with smoking but not with vaccine.
What is the point of coming to America when you donโt take advantage of being in the first world country.
Falano ko xora Bidesh ma vada majhna gayo re, vada majhne jasto ramailo kaam kei hunna, eauta machine ma haldyo aafai majhdinxa, luga dhune kaam ni tyai ho re, eauta machine ma halyo aani nikalera pathaidyo. Tyao jasto ramailo sajilo kaam ni kei hunxa? I recommend vada majhne luga dhune kaam in bidesh
My mum has symptoms like coughing, and a little bit of temperature but she refuses to get tested cause "test garne thau mai corona lagxa" and "covid vaye pani ailey dekhaunna report ma" and she keeps downplaying it. Ali tadha tadha basumna ta vanda ni she doesn't take it seriously and everyone in the family is like "kei hunna just chill" even tho I can tell they kinda fear getting tested positive. Am I being overly cautious? I don't get it.
I think Nepal's only problem is its people (The เคเคจเคคเคพ so to speak).
And this Janata has a major issue: NEPALI PEOPLE ARE JEALOUS of each other. They can't digest the idea that someone whom they perceive as being more talented than them can/will succeed.
Notice for instance the stingy jealousy feeling inside you if any other Nepali comes up with a thought that is ahead of its time, radical, or 'high'. Your brain then begins to try to find arguments to prove yourself that the person is not 'worth' it. If anyone with such idea comes, then you get scared...because you can't face yourselves once you see that person's work and talent...That would be too difficult for you!!! That's why you ignore it and critic it!
We have this crazy complexity because, to be honest no Nepali has 'made-it' in the world stage. So there's this sub-conscious fear in all of us, that someone might make it and that won't be 'me' or anyone whom 'I' have 'made' ! Buddha wasn't a Nepali, say whatever you like....just as Bhagat Singh wasn't a Pakistani!!! The problem of Nepali is its petty-ratty people. The good for nothing pieces of failure who themselves can't achieve anything in life apart from 'surviving' (even mosquitoes survive), 'bikes in residential areas' and 'indian imitation' and can't digest anyone else achieving something worth to be achieved.
Yes, they will support these fanatical cheap comedians, petty cricketers, journalists because deep down they laugh at them...In fact, they CAN support them because they know they aren't worthy!!! It's more of a pity on them...
So look at yourself in the mirror folks...and instead of being a pretentious "cool" american-redditor wanna-be...go think for yourself and live a bloody life!!!
(I will give an example from Literature: Laxmi Prasad Devkota and Bhairav Aryal were colossal writers in their own respect. But they got almost nothing from the Literature society in their respective times...WHY?? because Devkota had pretty-rats like 'Bal Krishna Sama' and Aryal had rats like 'Madhav Prasad Ghimire' around...who wouldn't let them succeed...hence, Nepali Literature couldn't move further....THE same envious-rats are everywhre: Politics, Arts, Science, Education, everywhere......) ## Could I be anymore right???
(Virtual hugs and wishes for a better day! This surely is a hypocrisy for this wasn't addressed every now and then but after a tsunami of realizations hit the guts and now I guess it's the thing that can't be unseen and unspoken.
Do they just hold onto the angular parts? do they not hold it altogether?
title.
Please do the favor by sending a request to Mayor to shut down schools/services and business for a while.
With reference to the air pollution.
For someone who was born and raised in a foreign nation can never be Nepali in any way specially when they haven't been here ever. Their language, culture, upbringing, mindset, behaviour and even names sometimes will be foreign. There might be some input from parents about Nepal and Nepali culture, but that doesn't make them Nepali. The only "nepali" thing about them is their parents, name, faical features or skin tones (none of which, honestly, are unique to Nepal).
If there is some kid with Nepali last name born to Nepali parents in US achieves something great, as Nepalis, that really isn't something to be proud of. For his parents, definitely. That kid is as american as other americans there. And what i found is that the people who don't agree fail to explain what it is exactly that makes us "Nepali".
EDIT: Many people are confusing (and assuming) that I'm talking about Nationality or citizenship. What I actually mean is, being Nepali isn't defined by one trait. There is a whole set of language, culture, upbringing, traditions, behaviour and perception that can only be learnt of you're in Nepal. There are some Nepali things that we all do (say like one plastic bag filled with plastic bags and other stereotypical things that most nepali do) will never be adopted or even understood by someone who has never been in Nepal. Such behavioral quirks are only observed when you are here. No textbooks or documentaries say such things. Understanding and adopting such quirks, such small yet defining aspects of Nepal make us Nepali. One can argue about love for the nation and feelings, and they won't be wrong. But that brings us back to the question: What makes us Nepali?
