###Lao National Liberation Front
Laos has fallen, but it is not over yet. Chinese forces are currently bogged down, and the Pathet Lao has been overwhelmed following the sudden occupation of Laos. While the RLA barely clings onto Vientiane, the rest of the country is in chaos as the Pathet Lao struggle to administer the country, and Chinese forces have suffered severe logistical breakdowns. Now is the time to continue the Laotian struggle from the bottom up!
Despite the fact the RLA holds just Vientiane and its outskirts, there is still hope for the Lao royalists. Tens of thousands of Lao refugees have been fleeing the country to escape the vicious communist Lao forces. Following an intense evaluation among the Joint General Staff, they have formulated a plan to continue the Laotian war, for better or worse. The JGS has authorized the creation of insurgent forces to operate in Laos, to tie down PAVN forces from South Vietnam, lest part of Laos be liberated from communist control.
Under Operation "Black Eagle", former Royal Lao Army soldiers, refugees willing and fit for service, and any Lao volunteers residing in Laos will be organized into the Lao National Liberation Front, a guerilla force dedicated to waging an anti communist insurgency in Southern Laos.
It will be trained by our best ARVN rangers in training camps outside of Hue, in the mountains similar to the environment they will be operating in once they are sent over the border to fight for the liberation of their homeland.
The Lao National Liberation Front (LNLF) will be organized into groups of battalions, with battalion headquarters being used as a method of organizing smaller units embedded into villages and other positions, although battalions will be used as a combat unit in conventional battles.
Several groups of battalions will begin training near Hue, a force that will total almost 9,000 guerilla fighters once the first class of fighters is ready. >!We plan to begin expanding the force at a later date in Laos itself!<
[M]: This is a retro post which I was told I could post
The 33 men of the Revolutionary Committee of Unity and Action gathered in an undisclosed location to discuss the future of an independent Algeria. The signs of France falling apart were quite apparent. The French have lost in Vietnam, which cost them Charles de Gaulle, and now with independence movements starting up, especially those in other parts of Africa, the desire for an independent Algeria was growing strong. Nationalism and a growing political awakening was taking over the Algerian people, and the Revolutionary Committee of Unity and Action hoped to capitalize on this.
Now is the time to push for independence, when France had to handle multiple movements across its various territories. Though an independence war with France may occur, we hope that we can band together with our Berber brother and sisters to repel the French forces, similar to what happened in Vietnam. We also hope to have encourage talks between the other African colonies under French occupation, given our shared interests.
For now, the Revolutionary Committee of Unity and Action will be rebranded as the National Liberation Front (FLN), and we will look to gain support from the Algerian people. The first move will be to open talks with all of the nationalist organizations in Algeria. The goal will be to align our joint interests: an independent Algeria, free of French control. We will work to include all of the nationalists who wish to see freedom. From that point, we will look to recruit the Algerian people. With the world events, we believe that the nationalism will be growing strong in Algeria. We hope to capitalize on this, and bring more people to our cause. While we hope to avoid combat, we must accept that fighting the French is likely the only way we will be able to realize our goal of an independent Algeria.
