A list of puns related to "Nascent"
... who is determined to cast off the link of the abyss and turn to the path of Good? How would the goddess help the said nascent demon lord? How would the Abyss (which is sentient) retaliate against the 'betrayal'?
>Amp is either gonna blow up. Or it won't.
Flexa has a really good idea. With making merchant's able to accept crypto. That's really the biggest step in the right direction towards adoption. BUT. Any company with larger traction and better funding could just as easily do the same thing and more people would hop on that train. Such as Amazon. This sub is full of hopium. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose because it might do absolutely nothing. My philosophy with this is its definitely not going to make me rich if it blows up, but if it does I'll be able to buy a new car or a better wedding or something. Just keep your hopes realistic and realize that there's a very real possibility that nothing happens with this project. I hope it does tho lol
I think almost just about everything in the above post, including the title, is wrong.
Firstly, Flexaβs βgood ideaβ is no longer just an idea. Itβs one of the few crypto projects with an exceptionally tangible and currently impressively working use case β in the real world. (You can literally go to Nordstrom, to Regal, to Petco, and purchase a real good/service with a digital native asset thanks to Flexa/Amp; literally an entire country in Latin America can pay bills as well as loans with bitcoin thanks to Flexa/Amp. No other crypto can do this β bridging the digital world so literally with the real world.)
Secondly, Flexa/Ampβs purpose is not limited to βmaking merchantβs able to accept crypto.β This is an extremely ignorant understanding of whatβs at stake (pun intended), and what exactly is the potential of the project.
I highly recommend reading Floating Ratioβs medium to better understand the project/tech and its dynamic and varied applications. Warning: the added illustrations are the cherry on top.
For now Iβll just say that Amp is about assuring value transfer of virtually any kind. This is achieved through the power of decentralization/blockchain and smart contract technology. Consider the revolutionary magnitude of what can be achieved thanks to innovations in the crypto space. And Flexa/Amp is specifically leveraging such innovations to thoroughly tackle and solve one very specific problem.
Mission wise, Flexa/Amp is beholden to nobody. They are free to solely focus on the one thing that matters to Tyler and Trevor
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi guys, just a quick question about the cultivation materials required for Nascent Soul. Iβve got most of them but Iβm having trouble with the last couple, and Iβm talking about the good ones. Are the drop rates just really low? I spent about 3 hours grinding out lands of beyond last night and I got nowhere, just more low stat treasures. Do I just need to persevere?
With the increased spread of science fiction and fantasy into television and movies throughout the mid to late twentieth century, muggleborns are frequently exposed to possible explanations for the weird events that occur around them. Some of them become convinced that they have super powers, others that they are psychic/psionic, and others even concluding it's magic but part of a different system. In all cases, they experiment with their powers and their magic mutates to match. By the time Harry goes to Hogwarts, the school is filled with nascent force-users, superheroes/villains, powerful psykers of all sorts, sorcerers, mages, warlocks, and other D&D style classes, etc.
The teachers are run ragged by the massive variations in power, so even though the school is still open and functional, the students are able to run amok with little supervision. This leads to many of the similarly powered children forming groups, teams, and cults, depending on what they see as the true power they wield. What's more is they've started teaching the halfbloods and purebloods so the mutations are spreading out of control. Harry saw Star Wars with Dudley and became convinced that he can use the force, so he's either a jedi or sith or trying to start his own order. Hermione, as a logical person, researched the weirdness happening around her and came to the conclusion that she is a powerful psyker who can move things with her mind and "read" the surface thoughts of others. Dean read lots of comic books and decided he must have superpowers, which ended up with all his drawings coming to life and jumping off the page. The Creevey family is big on D&D, so Colin and Dennis are mages/sorcerers/something-of-that-sorts.
Basically, rather than just Harry learning how to wield some unusual power due to media, it's a massive trend among all those who grew up not knowing the source of their powers.
OK guys, it's not perfect but I think it's ready for a bit of feedback....

EDIT: Implemented a few suggestions
Iβm curious if the various factional officers, from the Admiralty and Army/Stormtrooper Corps Generals to the Moffs and Governor, could have United and posed a greater challenge to the New Republic in the immediate decade or so following the Battle of Endor. From what, admittedly little, Iβve read, it seems they just immediately fell apart instead of trying to hold on. Granted the lose of the Emperor, Darth Vader, and a good chunk of the Navy is a HUGE blow, but surely the Rebel Alliance didnβt gain that much power that quickly and vice versa for the Empire.
Hello,
I'm not sure where to ask this but I like the vibe in this group and thought I'd pose the question here:
As we learn to code and begin developing our own projects, at what point (if any) do we try to protect our work via copyright or patent or something else? Please forgive the question if it sounds selfish: In my current field the predominant mentality is very much "That's my idea/development/project, and you need to pay me to use it!" In computer programming, on the other hand, I feel the general attitude leans more towards "open source" and collaboration. I definitely prefer the latter; however, as I discuss some of my projects with others, I can't help but shake the fear that someone will take the ideas and run with them...
Thank you all for your insight!
just unlocked the latter, liking it so far

It is also for the physical and industry side of chips, in addition to the computing side.
Whenever you have a hardware-related post, please put a copy to that sub and also subscribe to it.
If this is wrong subreddit to tell about this incoming / nascent chip sub, then what is correct? Criteria should not be that the purviews and sets of topics should be same, but that there should be large overlap or large percentage of users in one sub would be interested about the other. Criteria should be similar to the links in the sidebar and even looser. If it is controversial or up to debate whether the recommended subreddit's purview is sufficiently related to this subreddit's purview, then that question should be left for the users. Let them make up their own mind and we can debate that question here.
Even if this subreddit is meant for discussing computing from a point of view where it does not matter whether the computing is done with special hardware or software in general-purpose CPU, integrated circuits are still a related topic.
Did some testing earlier after seeing some ridiculous numbers.

Basically, Infuriate procs Chaos Cyclone & Inner Chaos which guarantees those WS crits, but it also applies the guarantee crit to the 400 potency healing from BW & NF.
Same for Inner Release + Decimate & Primal Rend, the AoE hit on PR can each proc 400 potency heal (that crits).
Not sure if this is intended, the wording does not suggest these skills affect the healing proc to force crit heals. :/
Edit: Decimate does not auto-crit heals, but Primal Rend does.
#TL:DR
EDIT: Slightly revised conclusion to make the point of the post a little more clear.
Even assuming worst case scenarios for new Bloodwhetting (3 GCDs instead of 4) and best case scenarios for old Nascent Flash (3 AAs instead of 2), new Bloodwhetting is almost always more potency than old Nascent Flash. This is assuming the only thing that we change in WAR's EW kit is new Bloodwhetting and old Nascent Flash. This is not considering WARs current SHB kit as the unknowns in the general potency calculation changes make this comparison impossible at the moment.
If you're curious about AoE, I won't do the math but here's the breakdown: Bloodwhetting is confirmed by Media Tour footage to trigger per enemy, not per GCD. The only way for old Nascent Flash to win in an AoE scenario is for it to trigger Vengeance many, many times. Even in this case some very quik maffs shows that you'd need at least 30 ticks of Vengeance in an unrealistic best case scenario against one target and many, many more than that in any normal scenario. I'm not saying getting that many ticks is impossible (it does have a 15s duration after all) but I don't think it's likely, and Vengeance has a 2 minute cooldown anyway.
Old NF main ST combos.
EDIT: Revised potencies. Only a slight change.
I've been VERY generous here with adding 3 auto attacks in. Nascent Flash pretty much never catches 3 auto attacks.
Nascent Flash heals for HALF of the damage dealt.
A Direct Crit attack is very roughly Base Potency * 1.5 * 1.25 = 1.875x damage. This has historically increased to roughly 2x damage with end-of-xpac crit stats.
oGCDs and AAs no longer Direct Crit in Inner Release.
Maim + Path/Eye + Fell Cleave + Upheaval + 3 AAs
280 + 400 + 460 + 350 + 300 = 1790 * 1.1 = 1969 = 984.5 Healing potency
Path/Eye + Fell Cleave + Inner Chaos + Upheaval + 3x AAs
400 + 460 + ~1200 + 350 + 300 = 2710 * 1.1 = 2981 = 1490.5 Healing potency
IR Fell Cleave + Primal Rend + Inner Chaos + Upheaval + 3x AAs
~850 + ~1300 + ~1200 + 350 + 300 = 4000 * 1.1 = 4400 = 2200 Healing potency
New Bloodwhetting ST Potencies.
If the attack that triggers Bloodwhetting crits the heal also crits. This is confirmed by Media Tour footage. Heal still cannot Direct Hit obviously.
EDIT: This is not quite true. Bloodwhetting hits have their own chance to crit alongside regular attacks. However, if the attack that triggers Bloodwhetting forces a crit (through IR/IC/PR) then
