A bit of preface before jumping right in. I (26M) and my father-in-law (62) took our MSF courses together last August and passed with flying colors. We were on some well used Suzuki TU250's and when we looked them up online I believe they had about 13hp on tap. I think the fastest we had ridden during the course was around 20 mph. Neither of us had any motorcycle experience before that.
Fast forward to late September early October and our local Indian dealership was hosting a demo day that my FIL and I wanted to attend and thought it would be a good excuse to get a feel for bigger more robust bikes and "ride them around the parking lot". Little did we know it's much more involved than that.
We got to the dealership later than we wanted (because I got held up at work) with all our gear and found out the last demo run was about to go, but if we signed up within the next five minutes we could squeeze in. With no time for questions we signed up and headed out to the lot where they had about a dozen various Indian motorcycles.
My goal was to ride a Scout sixty since it's the smallest displacement and I thought I would feel more comfortable on that- however, when we walked up the salesman said there were two bikes left, a Scout Bobber or a Chief. My FIL really wanted to ride the full size Scout and I said I would take the Chief and just take it easy around the lot, no biggy.
The salesman showed me how to work the Chief and said id be fine even after I tried to tell him my apprehensions about never riding a bike this big- he cut me off before I could tell him everything because we were ready to go and assured me I would be fine and just relax and have fun with it. I fired it up and was immediately hooked.
I was nervous when we all got in a line because I didn't want to look like a complete squid Infront of all these guys, but luckily I was in the very back with the reassuring salesman boosting my confidence. My confidence ran down my leg and made a puddle as soon as we went onto the road. I nervously asked him where we were going and all smiles he shouted over "It's a really nice route we have! Some highway, some twisties, really scenic to give you guys a good feel for the bikes- shouldn't take more than thirty minutes top!".
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.
This was the culmination of rushing after work to get there, poor planning/research into what a demo ride is and now I'm riding an $18,000 bike and my FIL is riding a $14,000 bike

The website, MSF.gg (and related Discord bot), was created and is managed by some of the most dedicated players of Marvel Strike Force. Thousands of hours have been invested by the volunteers that keep this platform updated and running on a daily basis, providing an invaluable resource for the community.
To ensure that the service that MSF.gg (and related Discord bot) provides to the community will always be available, we have worked with the owners of the website/bot to officially make it a part of Boundless Entertainment. But what truly makes this deal special is that we have also hired the two owners/operators as Scopely employees joining Boundless Entertainment - you might know them by their handles of Toxie and TyeJae. They will now be able to work on MSF.gg and MarvelStrikeForce.com full-time, to make those platforms and services the very best that they can be. And considering that they have both been playing Marvel Strike Force for many years, we are excited about the experiences and perspectives that they will bring to our internal conversations in shaping the future of the game and overall Marvel Strike Force experience for years to come.
With this acquisition, you will see some changes to MSF.gg in the short-term including the removal of ads and a discontinuation of accepting donations, as those are no longer needed to keep the site running. We also have plans to make future improvements and develop additional tools for players to stay informed and plan their progression to the fullest.

Like title say, what are in your opinion best and worst events ever in MSF history? Question is for those who play since launch and played through all events. Name 3 of each, i am 9 months in the game and curious to find out how much game and events changed since launch.
Took the basic rider course this weekend in Florida (which is the only requirement to get the motorcycle endorsement on my driver's license).
I passed with a zero (no points accumulated) and as far as the class goes, 7 out of 8 students passed. The guy that failed was probably the strongest rider out there skill-wise throughout the entire weekend, but he dropped the bike on the "turn from a stop" skill. His main problem was that he really didn't like the "friction zone" aspect of the training. Just like him, I've always been told while riding motorcycles or driving cars, to get off the clutch as soon as possible otherwise you'll cause unnecessary wear on the clutch plate(s).
After a little bit, I just decided that if the instructor is saying it's best to ride the clutch, then I'm going to ride the clutch. It works so good for low speed maneuvers. Little less speed? Well, then pull in the clutch a little bit while keeping the revs exactly where they are. Little more speed? Let the clutch out just a bit while similarly keeping the engine revs up.
As far as the equipment goes, the bikes were a couple ancient Suzuki GN 125's, mostly Suzuki GZ250's, and one Kawasaki Eliminator 250. If I were to do it over again, I would have saddled up on one of the GN 125's. They seemed to be the easiest bikes on which to complete the skills. Personally, my tester GZ250 seemed to be really cold-blooded and the idle speed was all over the place.
Can't say enough how good the instructor was and I've already got an appointment for later this week to get the endorsement done.

Attrition has been killing my Alliance and there's not much I can do about it.
There needs to be an in-game tool for Alliance Leaders to use for Recruitment.
By the same token there needs to be a descreet way for players to find the right Alliance that fits their play style.
Was allways wondering how many of us actually plays game every day and log in multiple times, number of downloads means nothing when lot of people deleted game maybe 10 mins after downloading, will be interesting to know real numbers, i would try with 500k,more or less, what do you think?
Hey, I've been browsing through the official MSF Discord server, recruitment part (looking for alliance and looking for players). I've been through all of this before - the server's rules only allow recruiting through strictly TCP based channels which is basically useless since alliance TCP rank says absolutely nothing about the content they run (which is what I'm looking for as a player when I search for a new alliance, I couldn't care less about how big are the flaccid d-cks an alliance is waving around). It's super tedious and time consuming to browse through every f-cking channel trying to find the content I'm looking for.
So, long story short - please post any alternative server invites that allow for recruiting through content rather than TCP. I want more options.

It's worth a watch, and honestly has me hoping some much needed and long overdue Quality of Life improvements are coming. Toxie and TyeJae are actually some of us and love the game and want to make it better, and have spent a lot of their time already actually making it better. Not to put any timeframe expectations on it, but they do make it seem like maybe our roster and inventory being viewable on MSF.gg is hopefully coming soon.
Plus they mention knowing how recruitment is a pain in the ass, and I can imagine so many ways on how MSF.gg could make it so much easier. Imagine just having an alliance profile page with your expectations (casual or hardcore) and what your alliance is currently doing and someone just being able to click a button to join the alliance and maybe join your linked discord channel at the same time. You could limit it so maybe only people with a linked roster and over a certain TCP could join according to the settings you create for your alliance.
Anyways, I just wanted to post this because it was a good interview, and Scopely hiring these two is a great move that hopefully brings some great changes for quality of life stuff.

Is it really so difficult? I can land 747s and light aircraft too in MSFS.
But I can't land anything in il2. for example a bf109g2.. I reduce my speed to 170, extend flaps fully, and my descent rate is incredibly slow already,but I still bounce, and when I finally stay on the ground, the wheel brakes don't seem to have any effect, and it takes forever to slow down and I usually hit a tree before that happens.
Even more common is bending the propeller as soon as I touch the ground, but I'm sure my nose is pitched upwards already.

I have a question regarding the selection of a graduate program.
First let me start with a disclaimer. Due to scholarships I have received for athletics, cost isn’t an issue. If it makes any difference, I am a very strong student but have limited work experience due to my athletic commitments.
With that being said, i am stuck choosing between an MSF vs MBA program. The MSF program at my school is ranked mid 30s while the mba is ranked above 50 nationally (sorry for being vague). I am going into the program directly following completion of my undergrad degrees(completed in Finance and IS).
The way I look at it, the MSF program is much more tailored to my interests. I have had multiple friends go through the MBA program and it is pretty much the classes that I have already taken. With that being said, salary is a pretty big factor for me and MBAs do get paid more, on average.
What would you do? Ask questions and I can provide any more details as necessary.
