A list of puns related to "Moorea"
Hello All, I last posted this 3 months ago, and we are getting very close so I thought wouldn't hurt to get some last minute thoughts. Questions below the itinerary.
This is what I have so far: Hotels:

Lots of Questions - since we are getting close.:
Friend and I are planning a trip to Moorea at the end of February. We plan on renting an Airbnb so we can make most meals at home, 5-6 nights, most likely on the north shore. Iβm doing my research but any inside tips about best beaches, restaurants, activities, nightlife, etc. are much appreciated! We will also have two nights on Tahiti at the tail end of our trip. Thanks in advance for anyone who responds! We are beyond excited!
So, my partner and I are coming to Moorea to get married in a beautiful sunrise ceremony. We fly into Faa'a on May 17th at 2200, so that night we will just sleep in a cheap hotel. Then the next morning we will take the ferry to Moorea and enjoy ourselves near Temae until our wedding on May 23rd.
Our Airbnb check-out is that day (the 23rd) so we are currently deciding what to do with our time until we fly out on the 27th at 2300, which is where I need Reddit's help!
If it helps narrow recommendations, we enjoy beach lounging, snorkeling, fairly intense hiking, yoga, eating out, drinking out, seeing live music, playing music, making local friends and beyond. We genuinely love everything.
So, with that, I ask Reddit which of these options is the best:
- Stay on Moorea all but the first night when we arrive? If so, we would want to go somewhere besides Temae like Cook Bay or Hauru?
- Split our time equally and spend our last 5 days on the main island?
- Maybe we just spend like the last two days on the main island?
Any and all recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance!!!
I plan on diving on both Bora Bora and Moorea (life long dreams of mine) and I was wondering if I should also do snorkeling trips while there? It snorkeling still really worth it if you already dove? Do they take you to different site and see maybe more coral?
I plan on doing a Manta ray dive for sure and I'm open to what ever else the dive shop suggests to do (sounds like shark dive on the outside of the lagoon)
Has anyone done this? Air Tahitiβs website says they must be checked as cargo 2 hours before the flight and space is on an as-available basis. Iβd really like to bring a board or two because rentals donβt sound very good or non existent. At the same time this is my honeymoon and Iβm not trying to piss my wife off for only two or three days of surfing haha.
Any idea on how much of a pain in the ass flying Air Tahiti is with boards?
Hey all, I am headed to the beautiful islands of Bora Bora and Moorea in a week. One thing I'd love to do is see the stars, the milky way. I could simply look outside my window, but are there any places you'd suggest I can go on these islands or even an excursion to see the stars at the brightest? Thanks so much for all your help!
Have you heard what is happening on the island of Moorea in French Polynesia?
Foreigners are buying up land. They plan on building huge (disgusting) luxury villas.
One new owner is taking a Tahitian girl to COURT for speaking up on social media to protect the island. Another new owner wants to destroy Tema'e beach, build on it, and then privatize blocking all access.
Where is the freedom of speech?
They will destroy the mountains. Landfill the lagoons.
Foreigners will have a new place. The locals will lose their land.
It happened in Hawaii, Aotearoa, Tahiti, and many other islands.
They are being replaced.

Deciding which island I should jet ski, any suggestions?
Nous avons un vol de Fakarava a Papeete qui arrive Γ 17h00. Du coup, on va louper le ferry pour Moorea. Y a t il in autre moyen d'arriver Γ Moorea? Un water taxi peut Γͺtre? Merci!
P.s.: désolé, ça fait longtemps que je n'ai pas écris en Français.
We have a flight from Fakarava landing at 5pm, which means we will miss the ferry to Moorea. Looking for alternative ways to reach the island. Wondering if anyone knows of a transfer service, maybe water taxi that would help us out. Thanks!
Can anyone recommend a dive shop in Moorea?
