A list of puns related to "Merrymaking"
So my players are just riding out of a completely devastated Vallaki. They killed both the Baron and Lady Wachter during the festival/feast and inadvertently contributed to helping incite riots that ended up burning down most of the center of town, including the inn and most of the shops. Over a third of the populace of the city is dead, and the players had to fight through the angry mobs, trampling many civilians under the paladin steed's hooves in an attempt to reach and save the Martikovs. My cleric called on aid from a dark power to empower her guardian spirits spell and ended up slaughtering over a hundred civilians who were coming to burn the stables she and Arabelle were hiding in. This is a party who has mostly tried to do the 'right and good' thing - saving children, helping the helpless, fighting corruption. They feel betrayed, corrupted and utterly downtrodden.
That said, they're fleeing to the nearby Vistani camp now. In my campaign, the Vistani are not agents of Strahd, but do still have a truce with him. The players have bonded intensely with the Vistani in the past and have had some excellent evenings of dancing, drinking and storytelling with them. Previously, I've had the Vistani storyteller relay the story provided in the RAW about the Mad Mage and one that I wrote telling a bit of the mythos of the Fanes and the ladies.
I want to give the group a really memorable, warm and engaging experience in the camp this time. Something to provide an intense contrast to the horrors and failures they've just endured. I'd love to hear suggestions for great Vistani stories or events!
Happy freggin Christmas.
EDIT: CLOSED. Sorry, I'm all out
Hiya, I was looking at the recipes for the Dawning goodies and thought 'wow I really don't want to scroll through all this junk four hundred times' so I put it all into a Google Sheet! I hope you all enjoy, and I can obviously change stuff if people have good suggestions.

I tripped. It was therapeutic, mindboggling and celestial, to say the least.
For 15 hours, I ventured into another dimension. I imagined tigers playing jungle music on my forehead, where they rattled percussion instruments with such intensity. I imagined myself speaking to an ancient eastern philosopher, who helped me reach a Eureka moment. I questioned fundamental life concepts, which I grappled with, reinforced and described through poetry.
This article is a recount of my metaphysical adventure. I am sharing this experience to send a positive message around the safe use of psychedelics as a tool to support people in their life journeys. I feel fortunate to be given this opportunity to share my absurd account with others so that they can laugh and be entertained with the silliness.
But before I describe my adventure, I would like to share a quote from a poem written by Kahlil Gibran, a Lebanese philosopher, from one of his poetic works called The Madman.
βAnd I have found both freedom and safety in my madness; the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us.β
Philosophical Encounter with Ziran
Ziran is one of the key concepts of daoism which translates to βso of itselfβ, in other words, βthe natural course of eventsβ, βcorrectβ, βdoubtlesslyβ and βjust beingβ. It is a simple, yet incredibly esoteric concept.
At the peak of my trip, I pondered over the meaning behind this, for what seemed like centuries. I felt a great deal of amusement when toying with the ideology, and in my imagination, I summoned the ancient philosopher Lao Tzu to ask for a descriptive elaboration. As this concept began to fully blossom in my head, I started a maniacal laugh. It was a piggish snigger mixed with a light comedic hysteria which I will never forget in my life.
I got it! βJust beingβ was simply to go with the flow and act in accordance with what feels natural. Like a Sims character going about their life, like a fish swimming along the river, ants within a colony, or a complex society trying to reach its equilibrium. Itβs when someone is just going about their business, without the slightest care in the world β and doing whatβs βrightβ and βnaturalβ. The self-sufficient organism is interacting with its ecosystem. Ziran is simply when entities effortlessly play about within their environments.
A beautiful revelation was born. At that moment, I shifted to a divine perspective. I imagined myself a

Merry meet!
I've decided to do weekend posts where anything goes. Post anything you'd like from stories and experiences, photos of your altar or tools, memes (yep), or even talk politics.
The only rules that stand are 2, 3 and 6. This is intended to be fun. Be nice and respect each other, and no there are no known potions or salves that will help cure the Coronavirus.
Merry meet!
Channel: https://www.twitch.tv/amerikonnor
Schedule: Everyday 4-7 pm East Coast Standard Time. I always start at 4 PM but sometimes I go longer or shorter depending on the stream/day.
Goals: First goal is to build a fun community and chat. Simultaneously, I want to improve my streaming and comedic talents. I love entertaining and making people laugh and I want to to do that while gaming. Making affiliate would be a nice feather in my cap too.
Background: Iβm a 25 year old American living in Germany. I come from a performing arts background and feel a similar rush streaming that I did on the stage. Accordingly, I think my uniqueness comes from my warped sense of humor and my love for the absurd. I think my natural curiosity about people and their stories lends itself well to building a community of real people surrounding the lore and stories of video games. Lately, Iβve really enjoyed exploring the mods of Fallout 4 (adding zombies, altering weather, etc.) and want to expand upon this mod exploration in future streams with different titles.
