A list of puns related to "Medieval Metal"
Title. Is there such a thing? In other words, I am looking for cavernous death metal which bears some approach-based or aesthetic similarities to black metal, but being death metal.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Iβm really sorry to ask this because i know itβs not black metal specifically (so please remove this if necessary), but i really donβt know where else to ask. Does anyone have recommendations for antifascist bands with a medieval inspired sound? I feel like medieval stuff tends to attract βpure european heritageβ idiots and Iβd like to find some groups that have pushed back on that and refuse to tolerate fascists or bigots. Thanks in advance :)
I appreciate the hallmark of most Power Metal is "fantasy", but I'm referring more to the sound than the lyrical theme. I don't know a way to describe it better than that; songs that have that vibe thats often described as medieval (think if Adrian von Ziegler or the Fiechter brothers wrote power metal for example), the best examples I can think of would be stuff from Rhapsody of Fire like The Village of Dwarves (especially this), March of the Swordmaster Eternal Snow+Terial The Hawk, to a lesser extent the intro to The Water Dancer by Frozen Crown or (to exit the genre briefly) Mourning Red by Wolfchant, while the intro isn't played on medieval sounding instruments and doesn't have quite the same feeling as a result, it definitely sounds like something that could be played on a lute around a campfire.
Just to save people searching, links to the referenced songs for examples of what I'm looking for more of.

All I remember about it is that you control a big army of people and that it has full heavy metal soundtrack. I think it was an xbox exclusive but I'm not too sure about that.
I'm attempting to create a good worldbuilding and need both a sword coated in silver for someone from a royal family and need to find if there is a way to (without the usage of magic for it is a sort of low magic world) use the coal/ashes of a sacred Araucaria tree in the metal of a sword as a sort of one-use ritual blade (no powers will be gained but the ritual requires a part of the burned sacred tree to be fused with the metal of the sword).
I know it is useless to anyone but me, but i tried to find information about it but don't know the terms to search that would give me medieval results, all i got was electroplating and galvanization as metal coating techniques and i don't trust Wikipedia to give me a good answer. Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Not just tungsten but many other fancy metal that we discovered in modern times. Thought this question is too casual for both askScience and askHistorian so posted here.
Various items, almost all the base metal unsold from my last sale is now price dropped, and there's new items

... keep reading on reddit β‘i read this book in middle school (2016-2017) The main detail I remember from this book is that the protagonist is captured by someone and forced to admit all of their fears through some sort of hypnosis/truth serum. They admit to being claustrophobic, and then the torturer creates a metal mold/casing of the protagonist with nothing but a breathing hole. The protagonist is then forced to stay inside of the mold for what i believe is multiple hours or days? I feel like this is part of a bigger series i read that involves elves and magic and other things, but that is not certain because i read many different medieval fantasy series thought my time in middle school. I know magic is involved in some way. Thank you for your help

During a recent thunderstorm I randomly thought about knights in full armour and wondered how often they would get struck. And when they would get struck, how quickly do they die if they do and how.
I would love a descriptive response if possible!

EDIT: note I have placed the water wheels down in reverse order by mistake. so the first thing you should do after pasting this is to fix those waterwheels before they break. Then add the water.
This was requested by u/some_it_dev. Hopefully this is somewhat close to what you were requesting. I have created the blacksmith and added in a few basic machines to allow players that are starting out with the create mod to understand the basic functions for ore processing, farming and generating cobblestone. I'm hoping that players will see how the basic functions work and then add to this by automating the production.
The design is mostly made up of easy to gain materials, with a slight exception to a few magma blocks for the encased fan generators. I would imagine players that are starting out with the mod are likely to paste this in creative mode, however I will include a materials list for those of you who would like to gather the materials for yourself. Note: I have not included any creative items in this schematic.
Also, I can always return to these builds and make adjustments, so please say if you would like a vanilla only version or maybe a schematic without the create machines. I really don't mind, always happy to help :)
