Edit #2: just did some quick and dirty math and leaned to the conservative side. I'm guessing there is about 20 board feet of walnut (we pay between 7-9/ bf), 60 bf of cherry (usually between 5.25 and 7 depending on the supplier) and 70 bf of maple (usually right around 5/bf)
20 bf of walnut @7.25/ bf would run 145.00
60 bf of cherry @ 5.25 would run 315.00
70 bf of maple @ 5/bf would run 350.00
So, total at those numbers would be 800 even. Now cut that in half and you're at 400.00 which is a pretty screaming deal if you ask me.

Some of you may have started to recognize my username by now and understand that it really does check out. I dig wood. It's my passion. Working with it is how I make my livin and it is also how I spend my leisure time. I have carte blanche access to a scrap bin that would make the head of your average woodworker spin.

That said, I have some killer stock coming my way that I simply can't stuff into my home shop. It would absolutely kill me to see this FAS s2s 5/4 stock, milled to 1.0625" (1&1/16") get crushed in the compactor and sent to a landfill.

It's the holy triumvirate. Maple, cherry, walnut. Damn near zero sapwood (except the maple, since the sapwood is what we all want, which means next to zero brown heartwood). I am guessing herr, but this run will probably yield more than 200 board feet of SCRAP. yeah. Scrap.
I want to ensure these scraps end up in the hands of an actual woodworker who will make beautiful things with what is being offered. So, Philly woodworkers, who are you, where are you and more importantly, whatcha making?

Before you ask (I'm looking in a particular direction here, you know who you are) NO, this ain't gonna be free, so quit asking. The time i spend milling, collecting, packing and hauling is actually worth something...BUT...This will be a haul at a stupid discount so you can work with premium FAS hardwoods at a price comparable to dimensional construction lumber.
