Based dudes.
I've seen some posts in Twitter of people claming to be from Kharkiv who say that they would gladly party if Russia enters Kharkiv. Is this true? Do the people of Kharkiv consider themselfes Russians?
I know it's probably a lie. Just wanted to be sure.
Hi everyone, happy new year! Iβve been visiting the lovely city of kharkiv for some time now and having an amazing time. Nevertheless got some questions, hope you can help me understand why.
So after spending all night in kyiv waiting for my suitcase to arrive from Amsterdam, I had to hope they find it and go to the central station for my train. I get in the metro, make it to my stop and walk to an atm to get some money. Police walk up to me and start talking and I assume they want to check my documents. They see that I am an American and tell me that they don't speak English. I tell them I can use my phone to translate and they go "yeah do that." So I pulled up Google translate and they proceed to tell me that their dog alerted to my suitcase for drugs.
They proceed to take me to a room to search my bags. I had to dance between being close to the officer using my phone to translate and not being to close to the officer searching my bags. I of course do not use drugs, nor would I ever smuggle drugs into any country. So the officers were kind of confused there. Still a pretty pleasant interaction. They were not accusatory or aggressive at all. They asked about my gopro and the snowboarding helmet, but other than that nothing all that scary.
Hello, I have been looking for a job here in Kharkiv for weeks but couldnβt find. Please comment if you know anyone that can hire, Iβm an African. Thanks
I have friends there stocking up on food and water incase of something happening, but are there shelters of they need to go?
Would be nice to get some kit tips for a first-time MilSim West militia player who wants to eventually evolve into a RUSFOR. (because I heard RUSFOR needs more players)
Considering purchase:
Suit Gorka 3 "Federal" β Moss Greenhttps://grey-shop.ru/Camouflage/Gorka-Suits/MordorTac-Suit-Gorka-3This seems like the 'best' option, that I could find, for the potential weather of the event. The real Gorka 3 is for cold weather but this one seems like it would be appropriate for this.. Is the Gorka reserved for special forces and would it be 'weird' for the militia to wear this? If so, what would make sense for the militia? I have even been considering militia-looking street clothes.. or trying to swing a Czech Militia, but this is probably the wrong approach? I'm looking for a Moss Green combat uniform or similar. I suppose there could be ex-special forces in a modern militia.. but donβt want to be arrogant with that either, because I am not ex-special forces. I'm open to suggestions here
I've also heard some negative about Mordor and Grey-shop..
Raid 60L Backpack if I can afford ithttps://grey-shop.ru/Additional-Equipment/Backpack/Raid-Backpack-Attack-5
OR
40L Viking Backpack if I cant; both moss greenhttps://grey-shop.ru/Additional-Equipment/Backpack/viking-backpack
//////////////////////////////////////
Owned:
LBX 0300 Tactical Modular Plate Carrier β Ranger Greenhttps://www.evike.com/products/66126/
ASG Evo Scorpion β Black(do I need to link this?) Down the line, I want to add some type of LTC AK
Iβm definitely picking up a 6B47 helmet with a baclava.
Any other kit essentials that I'm missing?
I'm not building from reference but what 'feels' right and what I can put together in time for the event. If anyone had recommendations for references.. that would be great too.
Hello! Can somebody share what's the current situation in Kharkiv amid a possible conflict and Russian invasion? I know the city is predominantly Russian speaking and very close to the border. What's the atmosphere and moods like? P.s. much respect and support to the Ukrainian people in these tough times.
