A list of puns related to "Intercommunication"
So I have been getting into Jung and his work, but only through videos, lectures and a read of the first few pages of βMan and his Symbolsβ. Because I have my exam phase right now havenβt had enough time to delve deeper. I have come across this idea, and I donβt know whether Iβm misinterpreted, that in essence explains how there is a connection to our ancestors lives and memories through the inadvertent communication of unconscious behaviour and mental-structure (formed by the ancient environments out ancestors carried their lives in) by the previous generation to the next. I have become in love with that idea tracing the ever-evolving human psyche that is passed on to essentially the conception of consciousness some millions of years ago. What Iβm asking for here is some guidance whether this is an accurate representation of his idea, and where can I find more about this concept. Thanks for taking the time!
Sup fam? As a English-speaking American male I often speak differently to other males. This is typified by a simplified and formulaic form of English rampant with slang and idioms, and sentences seem to both begin and end with male terms of endearment (bro, bruh, man, dude, etc). It's even coupled with a change in body language. When I use this "language" is context driven and automatic. For example, I only use it with peers and what seems to me people I'm testing to see if they are peers, and I slip right into it without thinking. I never speak this way to females (except overtly homosexual females), superiors (bosses, parents, older people etc), and to "inferiors" (children, people I have authority over) I either don't or use a very water-down version of it. In fact, it feels weird to me when one of these groups tries to use that language with me. So anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has insight into this phenomenon from scientific point of views. Both characterizing the patterns linguistically, and why it occurs. I assume it's a group cohesion dynamic, but I'm just interested in learning more about it. In particular, I'm interested in why this language sometimes seems to be used as a test as I've noticed it becomes more intense when used with strangers. Also, I assume females have a corresponding peer-driven intra-gender linguistic dynamic too so if anyone has insight on that I'd in that as well. Since this is Reddit after all please note this is just something I'm interested in, and I'm being honest in my description, but statements shouldn't be taken as normative positions. Na'mean?
I'm building a complex gui program, and I started learning Perl OOP to compartmentalize some things. But when I break down the whole thing into objects, they still need to talk with each other.
Lets say I have ObjectA with the variables AA, AB, and AC. And I have an ObjectB that does something different, but needs to know when ObjectA's AB changes. Is there an established standard way to deal with this in Perl OOP?
Something like: ObjectB calls a well-defined registration function in ObjectA with the name of the needed variable (AB) and a pointer to a callback function (ObjectB->CallMeWhenABChanges()). Whenever ObjectA changes the value, it calls the associated function(s).
Is that the "prim and proper" way to do this in Perl? Is there already a PM that I could inherit to deal with the organizational side like registering and calling?
Hello colleagues,
what could be the way to connect two silverpeak clouds, each with its own orchestrator? As I cannot find any mention on the official site, isn't it supported at all?
some kind of generalized communication would work, and can bridge language barriers. You need it on heists, the beginning screen needs a way to say "hey I'm great a pilot on prison break finale" or I'm not good at this role btw" or "I'm new to this"
Also, in general, interactions without mic or typing could be streamlined, via the (xbox one) same interaction menu. Sure, it aint perfect but at least theres something.
Hello to all the fellow hunters, lurkers and codewalkers. I, like many others have watched and observed the developments (and set backs) over the last few years. Filtering through the youtuber's that have come and gone has been it's own challenge too, dealing with exaggerated or sensational information.
Over the course of this last year however I have seen a significant drop off of open communication, which honestly all started a few months after discord was opened. I do not use discord, but i am familiar with it and i truly think it's a great tool for discussion. There seems to be a rising issue with communication between the discord users and non-discord users on the reddit. It almost feels like another faction.
I know that myself as a non-user often feels like i know only half of a discussion going on now. Tadden did a fine job in trying to include others on the reddit with his work, but from what i understand he has a lot more pressing issues to attend to. I will also go on record and say that i did not enjoy smithy's posts either as they were mostly conjecture with little to no hard data.
All of that being said, I think that if we want to solve anything with this mystery we need to be open minded and more open in conversation. I think we should all strive to find answers with hard data rather than "I think/I feel if we". We should all test our theory's first and bring the results for review. Without open constructive conversation we will stagnate and die. So here's to fighting stagnation!
tl;dr We should all try to keep the conversation open and constructive, oh and of course keep hunting!
I'm more of lurker but a buddy and fellow redditor brought a thread to my attention and I just had to share this. This might be a phenomenon that hasn't gone unnoticed. I downloaded the following audio file in two years ago from a paranormal-ish forum that I used to frequent, It's from someone who claimed to have investigated something in the same vein, and did so through supposedly scientific methodology at some institution. He's no longer active and he removed a good chunk of his posts. I don't have much of an idea what it is, obviously it's a conversation between likely two parties but only one is heard clearly. But pay attention to the repeated portion(preferably w/ headphones), the radio/tv newsreader or whatever talks about a rail accident in U.K Birmingham, which resulted in 34 injuries-- But just like this, nothing/little shows up.
