A list of puns related to "Independent Game Developer"
She makes a lot of fun interactive games that have helped me understand complex mathematical concepts like Game Theory ( https://ncase.me/trust/) Network Science ( https://ncase.me/crowds/ ) and how personal bias affects diversity and segregation ( https://ncase.me/polygons/ )
My favorite game of her is The Evolution of Trust.
Check out all of her games here: https://ncase.me/projects/
Best independent game developers not signed by a major first party label- Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft? Why do you feel they are great and which of the big 3 do you think they would be best under as a first party studio?

I think implementing NANO in a videogame can help it to be more popular. People like to gamble and they like to compete. NANO is the only crypto that can do micro transitions fast, no fee and environmental friendly.
The Quake NANO is a good example, but there are tons of independent game developers out there. We should try to contact some of them.
Iβve been giving this question a lot of thought recently and theres a lot of conflicting information all over the place, especially when it comes to what being an independent publisher actually means? That aside however, just off the cuff from anyone who might be more in the know than myself. What would you say is the percentage of games created and published by independent developers versus games created by traditional publishers?
Or to be more accurately, probably,:
A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME (ft. A MASAHIRO SAKURAI GAME)
And what would it be?
Kojima seems to have a lot of talent in multiple distinct game genres. But I would say his biggest strength as a director/designer is his ability to evoke powerful emotions with video games. MGSV is the only game in my 25 years to ever actually make me cry, and I mean bawl embarrassing man-baby tears, multiple times. PT/Silent Hills likewise is the only game that actually made me feel afraid, genuinely scared, and engrossed entirely in that terrifying atmosphere. I seriously could not look directly at the screen multiple times while playing through PT.
Personally I would like to see them come up with a new IP. But if they had to do a Nintendo game...maybe a fresh take on Zelda? A Metroid reboot? Hell, an Eternal Darkness sequel?
Thoughts, opinions, words?
Here's the OP. Here's the reference to Tool. Here's the upcoming game for Steam.
I know there are a bunch of board game conventions and I was hoping someone(s) could help guide me in the right direction. I recently designed a board game that I was interested in pitching to some publishers, and I thought a board game convention might be a good place to do that. However, I am sure each convention has it's own feel/purpose/agenda, and so I was hoping for some insight on which conventions are the best for an independent game designer to be able to talk to (and possibly demo to) publishers.
Vector Unit's been around for a while, but this is the first time we've ever done a live Q&A session with the world. And there's no place we'd rather do it than Reddit! Here's some proof!
We're announcing today that our new game [Riptide GP2] (http://www.vectorunit.com/riptide-gp2) is confirmed for release in the Google Play Store next Tuesday July 23, and will follow shortly after on iOS.
Feel free to ask us anything about Riptide GP2, or about any of our games, about mobile and console game development, about the trials and tribulations of self-funding an indie game studio, about Android and iOS, about our favorite burritos, about ... Well, really about anything at all.
We have with us today:
UPDATE: It's 3pm PT and we're DONE! Thanks everyone who posted questions, we really enjoyed talking with you!

Excellent advice that applies to pretty much every independent or hobby game developer.
You just have to provide a valid email.

I have made a list of active video game developers that I would like to work for. It includes independent and subsidiary companies.
Do subsidiary companies decide the voices for their projects or is it the independent company they subsidise that decides the voice for the subsidiary company's project?
