A list of puns related to "Rca"
And donβt tell me weβre βnot allowedβ
E absolut imbecil criterul varsta/cmΒ³.
Also, daca ai domiciliul la sat pretul iti mai scade putin. Incercati si voi, calculati polita avand domiciliul pe oras, apoi schimbati pe un satuc uitat de lume.
So many jerbs I might be pushing the character limit. Probably need to STFU here. Get in there and APPLY! Shitload of regular rural carrier jobs unless my eyes deceive me.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Just curious if it is just my post office or is this normal. The RCA's at my office are working 60-70 hours a week. Initially I thought it was because of Christmas but it has not slowed down one bit. This is poor management as far as I'm concerned. The office is way understaffed and the RCA's are paying the price for it. I wonder how many of the "supervisors" or "postmasters" actually have some sort of leadership training or education? It is disappointing that after 50 years of delivering mail ..... this is the best the USPS can do. It looks like a 3rd world ran operation.
This is purely an intellectual curiosity question for those that grew up in probably western Michigan or NW Iowa. Personally grew up CRC, but always in cities where we were the only CRC congregation in a city of 500,000 or more and felt isolated from denominational culture. My only experience with Dutch Reformed culture was childhood trips to the Grand Rapids area (more specifically the rural small towns of Ottawa county) where I remember the first big family controversy was one of my CRC cousins was going to enter into a "mixed marriage" because they planned on marrying someone from the RCA.
I'm now an Elder at a RCA in Arizona and frankly can't quite tell a difference from afar between the two denominations culturally. Not here to debate the theological differences, as I know all about those.
Is there a difference between the types of folks that sit in the pew in either denomination? Like one denomination leans more blue collar, another is more college educated? If you go to a small town in western Michigan or NW Iowa who runs the place - the CRC or the RCA?
If PO gave them guaranteed atleast 1 day off in a week. PO will probably save money in long run on new hires.
I wonder why they cant keep RCAs in most stations.
Its alright though youll make regular between now and never. Pull up those bootstraps :)
Yesterday Alicia hosted her own Twitter spaces to discuss the new project 'KEYS' and throughout the hour or so a lot of jewels and conversations were going down. Jay Z himself even joined, which was a huge treat for HipHop/R&B fanatics. Overall just a lot of "unlocked" talk regarding the music industry.
Some of the topics that were discussed which really caught many ears - Alicia stating the KEYS album is her last one to mark off her 20th year partnership with RCA records. Huge! Many of us are so relieved to hear that because mate, they been dropping the ball on Alicia since HERE sadly. New label or even independent route will be a neat refresher me thinks for her.
Other gems which got a lot of mixed opinions on the spaces - Alicia ranking all her albums, Alicia talking through her 18 year old song "Is it Insane", Lil Mama discussion, Streaming platforms, Jay Electronica and the big one Jay Z stating there's no artist who's worthy that could vs him in Verzuz oh and lot of Beyonce/MJ comparisons went down too.
It's a brilliant discussion, ton of artists and entertainers joined too, so something there for everyone, especially the music lovers.
I will link it right here -...

Who just drives the LLVs and can you make career doing that?
Do ccas go in and out of the office all day? And Rcas hit the road once?
Just to get us started off One winter I was stuck on a route that I never finished before long after dark. One road had absolutely no street lights and had a bank of mailboxes at the front of the road kept ordering a massive amount of packages. I consistently scanned all those packages animal interference and brought them back.
Edit: thanks for the silver
59 year old RCA passed away that worked at my office. Instantly one of the supervisors tried saying it was covid, when he was in the office a day before he passed. Due to having health problems he asked management if he could reduce his hours, to which they responded "you're lucky we aren't bringing you in at 6AM." Wife called and told supervisor that he passed and asked supe not to share news with anyone because the whole family didn't know yet. Supervisor told other employees and these employees posted it on Facebook resulting in family found out, and supervisor blamed these employees when she's the one who broke her promise of keeping it a secret in the first place.
So basically, management worked employee to death and then caused the family to find out in the worst way possible and blamed it on the other employees. Nothing new.
Rest in peace.
A few weeks ago we had a regular call in sick at like 9:00. Our postmaster (famously a racist, sexist, ableist dick who has FOUR active EEO investigations being performed on him) called all RCAs over to his desk and started assigning pieces of the route to them. Now, most of them were already running two entire routes and we work 12-14 hours a day, so they were obviously annoyed. Some complained but never loudly, nor did they say no. Well the pm took that opportunity to round them up again and shout at them "Listen here you lazy motherfuckers, I don't NEED a single ONE of you. You are all worthless and EASILY replaceable to me. Either shut the fuck up and do your damn job or go home." Everyone was stunned silent for a second, then our oldest RCA (I think he's like 63) said "Alright, I choose the latter. I'm gonna spend time with my granddaughter. Bye." He then flipped him off and walked out. Then another one said "Well if you don't NEED us, I'm out too." He did the same. As people started leaving, PM started apologizing, then threatening that if anyone else left they'd be fired. One by one every single RCA flipped him off and walked out.
No one has been diciplined because everyone, including the union steward, heard the PM say that he didn't need them.
I just had my first solo route and I thought I was doing well on my route until I came back at 5:30 and my supervisor said I was too slow even for a beginner and he's not sure if this job is for me. Even though it's one of the bigger routes in this office. I don't know what to say to him other than that I'll do better next time on delivering faster?
At first I was complaining about how many hours I was working (60+ per week), but I looked at next weeks schedule and I have a few days offβ¦ now Iβm like βWait schedule me please!β
Will new hires like myself start getting less hours now? Since the holiday season is over and hopefully less people getting sick
I have seen any text on this.. but management brought us in and said no more casing mail in an effort to save time and new start time is pushed back to 8. which is up from 730 for the route I've covering an injured regular for k46. and up from 7am for the newly promoted regular who'd been doing his route k45 as an rca for the past 1.5 years. losing an hour in the morning for him plus no casing really gonna mess up his routine, I. e package markers and the like. but he doesn't know how to fight it.
our office is small so cross crafting is necessary for it to run and nobody grieves it. the rural aux route 6 days 4.5 hours is sometimes run by either of the city carriers or even a couple of the clerks can, clerks/pm cases it and its pulled down ready to go for whomever can run it. we have been getting outside help on occassion. but my favorite is when pm and a clerk go run it together in a pov even when an llv is available. it needs to be done so it is what it is.
because everybody plays along, it took two days to get a form 8191 from management to grieve the nonstop 12 hour days during the holiday season, forms that should be readily available but like I said, nobody grieves anything so nbd... to which management also mentioned that nobody can work over 12 hours anymore, including the people who don't mind/would want to work over 12. I'm okay with that, management didn't seem to think I had a limit during the holidays. December exemption yada yada. but I think it's to pit the OT lovers against me for doing something about it.
it was in this subreddit that somebody shared the NRLCA magazine article about having all leave replacement employees i.e. ARCs and RCAs submit greivances for working over 12 hours, so I am and here we are. my local steward agreed and has guided me thru this process so far.
TL;DR. going thru grievance process for first time and it's causing a stir.
So I was told that RCAs are always on call on their days off and that I must answer the phone, I've had knee surgeries recently and can never get any physical therapy scheduled because I'm always called in, I don't want to have to put a slip in for every single day off (not sure of the name of the form honestly, but I've used it before) and was told I can't use two slips in a week when I have 2 days off in a week.
Am I forced to answer the phone every single day off? I've seen different things on the internet and honestly where I'm still semi new to the post office I don't know the exact rule here.
Alpine 4 Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALPP), a leading operator and owner of small market businesses, announced today that it has acquired RCA Commercial Electronics (RCA) of Indianapolis, Indiana, and its operating entity DTI Services.
RCA Commercial Electronics is the continuance of the US-based legacy conglomerate RCA Corporation which dominated the electronics industry in the 20th century.Β DTI Services acquired the rights to the RCA brand in 2006 to design and build products for the Hospital, Lodging, Education, and Institutional markets.Β In 2018, DTI Services acquired the entire lighting division of LG including all IP for smart lighting products, also now sold under the RCA banner.
The RCA Corporation, an American electronics company, was founded as the Radio Corporation of America in 1919 and headquartered in Indiana. It was initially a patent trust owned by General Electric (GE), Westinghouse, AT&T Corporation, and United Fruit Company. As a company whose beginnings derived from patents, it quickly became the gold standard of innovation around the world. Β As the dominant electronics and communications firm in the United States for over five decades, RCA was at the forefront of the rapidly growing radio industry in the early 1920s as a major manufacturer of radio receivers and the exclusive manufacturer of the first superheterodyne sets. Additionally, RCA created the first nationwide American radio network, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC). The company was also a pioneer in the introduction and development of television, both black and white and especially color. RCA became the leader in consumer satellite technology and is the legacy system that is now known as DirectTV.
In the 1970s, RCA diversified into a multinational conglomerate, and in December 1985, it was announced that GE would reacquire its former subsidiary for $6.28 billion in cash, or $66.50 per share of stock.Β The sale was completed the next year, and despite

With all that said what do you think could make this position better and more likely to retain new and old employees alike. Can be things negotiated by the union or just things your office could do (i.e post master supes other employees).
For me it would be a time table for career or ptf. Getting rid of this notion that RCAs are on call/better schedules. Some relief from amazon. I know some routes albeit a few aren't getting bombarded by amazon but my route and most RCA routes in my office even after peak you would never know that peak was over.
Also no slight against the regulars out there but my carrier has asked off every hard day during peak and dumped it on me and I think it would be nice if we had some protection against that. Not that the post office would agree to it but I think thing like Monday's after a holiday Saturday should have all hands on deck with the regular and the RCA splitting the route or packages so the work load isn't so terrible. Every Monday that was taken off I was out till 8 or 9 at night which meant that if I wasn't hitting ot that week I was working for free for about 3 to 4 hours.
All that being said I don't mind the work I actually enjoy delivering mail the reason I'm leaving is the length of how long you have to wait for career which is between now and never.
IK we're not supposed to leave our engine running when we get out... is there any tips or anything y'all gave shoot me to make walking routes faster/more comfortable? Specially in subfreezing temps.
