A list of puns related to "Hsu"
Sometimes ordinary folks get the idea that the meaning of Chan is so profound that only men and women who've been ordained in the Dharma can possibly fathom it. But that s just not so. Actually, we priests often feel that we're in way over our heads. And every now and then, while we splash about, trying to look good treading water in our nice uniforms, along comes a civilian who zips by us, swimming like an Olympic champion. Such a civilian was Layman Pang, He would have won Chan's gold medal. He's been a hero not only to centuries worth of other laymen, but also, I confess, to every priest who's ever studied his winning style.
Layman Pang lived during the latter half of the Eighth Century, a golden age for Chan. He was an educated family man- he had a wife and a son and daughter- and was well enough off financially to be able to devote his time to Buddhist studies.
He got the idea that a person needed solitude in order to meditate and ponder the Dharma, so he built himself a little one-room monastery near his family home. Every day he went there to study and practice.
His wife, son and daughter studied the Dharma, too; but they stayed in the family house, conducting their business and doing their chores, incorporating Buddhism into their daily lives.
Layman Pang had submerged himself in the sutras and one day he found that he, too, was in over his head. He hadn't learned to swim yet. On that day, he stormed out of his monastery-hut and, in abject frustration complained to his wife, "Difficult! Difficult!
Difficult! Trying to grasp so many facts is like trying to store sesame seeds in the leaves of a tree top!"
His wife retorted, "Easy! Easy! Easy! You've been studying words, but I study the grass and find the Buddha Self reflected in every drop of dew."
Now, Layman Pang's daughter, Ling Zhao, was listening to this verbal splashing, so she went swimming by. "Two old people foolishly chattering!" she called.
The tweaker failed to see the daughter's demon clawed hand. Which says a lot about P'ang and his bodhisattvic love for his daughter. She'll be a great buddha, rivaling Kanon, someday.*

I just moved here back on April of 2021 and I wonder why do some of the locals resent the HSU students? I read somewhere that one local in reddit even outright stated she will never accept the students as one of โthemโ.
EDIT: My apologies everyone! The previous link had an email address that was locked, but I've fixed it now and it should go directly to the Office of the President. Thanks everybody!
Hey everybody. I don't know about you, but I'm really upset about HSU insisting on in-person classes. Humboldt is getting hundreds of cases a day and even people who are careful are getting sick. HSU has been saying this semester would be in-person since September, but Omicron has seriously changed the situation and they refuse to adjust accordingly. The caseload is higher than it has ever been. If you're worried and upset, PLEASE click this link to email the President of HSU. The letter is already written, all you have to do is click 'Send'!
The email, for those who are interested, reads as follows:
To the Office of President Jackson:
I am a student at HSU, and I am writing to urge you to move classes online for the first few weeks of the Spring 2022 semester. Humboldt County is already facing exponential growth of COVID-19 cases following the holiday season. As students return to Humboldt from across the country, the danger posed by the transmissibility of the Omicron variant only increases. Requiring in-person attendance d

At the moment levels can take to long, especially when doing 2 optional objectives all together.
So i suggest give us an option to create a pause point which can be loaded later to continue the mission.
BUT: This pause point should never be something that can be loaded after dying like a usual checkpoint. This would take every pressure and fun from me.
Even if the devs get rid of optional objectives and finaly implementing real difficultys, it could still be usefull to be able to create pause points when needed. New players also sometimes need 2-3 hours to beat an A tier level on high.
I suggest have a room somewhere in the middle of a level that contains special cryo capsules where players can go in. When the entire team went into a capsule, the screen starts freezing and is getting darker while the pause point is saved into the cloud. Then people are landing in the main menu.
And when the savepoint is loading, the screen slowly unfreeze and getting brighter (no drop animation because that makes no sense at this point).
The savepoint should be deleted after using so it can't be used as a savepoint after failing a mission.

I do have a giant rug coming in Saturday to help out with a pad to go underneath. I may be able to position the sub a little more freely than just next to the speakers. I was hoping with decent placement I could get away with a 15" Rythmik or HSU. It would be a good while before I could afford another. Looking at the FVX15 and the VTF 15. Rythmik is around 200 more than the Hsu.
Rythmik FVX15 will run $1500 and Hsu is right at $1300
Right now I have 4 different speakers I am going to be testing. 2 Floorstanders and 2 Bookshelf.

In our nineteenth episode, Aaron Hsu, creator of the Co-dfns APL compiler, tells us about his journey to and through APL.
Host: Conor Hoekstra Guest: Aaron Hsu Panel: Stephen Taylor, Rich Park and Bob Therriault.
I know it's been asked before, but wanted to see if any former or current students in the Geology and GIS programs have feedback?
I'm planning on transferring from CR in a couple years.
Hey everyone, so since I was a kid I've always wanted to be a scientist. More specifically a marine biologist, something about the ocean and the animals swimming there just made me feel so at peace and curious. Growing up I lost this dream of mine because life happened (got caught up in my own act) but not I'm back to following this dream of mine.
I took biology in high school and to be honest I didn't find it as interesting as physics which I also took. I found biology to be a little harder for me to visualize in my head, whereas with physics I can see the concepts in my head. I also found it a bit more mundane, with all the vocabulary and categorizing things.
So anyways, I'm taking Intro to Marine Biology right now in college and I'm doing good (I have a B) and I'm going to take Intro to Oceanography next semester. What interest me about oceanography is that it encompasses all other fields from physical, chemical, biological, and geological and me having an interest in science as a kid, I'm considering majoring in Oceanography at Humboldt State with an emphasis on the physical. To get a degree in Oceanography I have to take like 1 or 2 more biology courses which I wish I could just skip. Which leads me to considering a degree in Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences at SCRIPPS. I checked out the courses online and I see that there's no biology, only math, physics, and chemistry. Only problem is that I'm not to confident on my math skills.
So now I'm debating on either a major in Oceanography at HSU or a major in Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences at SCRIPPS and where can my strengths and weakness make the most impact in helping the ocean.
So now I come to you guys humbled and lost. Can anyone give me some guidance, advice, wisdom, or insights into where I can go from here.
Currently have (2) Infinity R12s that have been great for my startup system considering the $100+ price I paid. Now I am at the point where I would like to upgrade to something that could hit harder and go lower.
I do have some space limitations and the HSU VTF-2 MK5 at 20.5"H x 22"D are really maxing my dimensions but I think I can make them fit.
My budget would also be maxed around that $6-700 range per sub.
This is 90% movies so would prefer something ported. Any other suggestions for subs that I should be looking at besides the HSU at that price/size? Specifically, anything a couple inches shorter if possible?
Please enlighten me.
Iโm looking at getting top surgery with Jessica Hsu at UofMichigan. I have found some pictures of her results but everyone has had a very different body type than me. I was wondering if anyone who is larger (250+) has gone to her for top surgery or if the reason I canโt pics is that she wonโt do it on a larger person. TIA
Was thinking about this randomly. Beyond the morale boost, there's another reason not to fully encircle your opponent. It makes your line far more brittle than theirs. And Kyoukai exploits it vs Chougaryuu (CGY.)
So, that's the chapter where Kyoukai breaks into an encirclement to fight out of it with the unit, and it seems crazy. But now I'm thinking, is it?
The encircled have three advantages if they don't panic. 1) due to the geometry of a circle, their line is functionally shorter than their attacker's line, meaning, the attackers have to spread their soldiers out more.
3). lastly, the encirclement is basically like a bubble in that it can be popped. If at any point on the circle the HSU can break through zhao, they can immediately turn right and left and flank both sides of the breach they made. The rolling flank that would follow is basically worst-case scenario for an army in Zhao's position, Because the enemy is basically between their units, it would be extremely hard to reform once your encirclement has been popped... you'd clump into smaller groups of soldiers in a melee that did not feel like it was going your way at all.
What kyoukai did makes way more sense to me now. She attacked key points to break the encirclement at several points, at which it collapsed, turning the battle into a melee in which Hi Shin had a slight advantage to start. on top of which, they're the Hi Shin and they love a good melee.
If someone can take the time to translate this video to English it will be appreciated. The gist is that USS Connecticut was tracked with LIDAR satellite and underwater listening stations and located to an accuracy of 10km, and then pinpointed using Y-8 plane-dropped active sonar. The sub refused to surface so was rammed with an HSU-001 at full speed. Commentators speculate that the uploader has been acting as a semi-official leak for PLA related news in social media. Thoughts?
Edit: just want to add that it doesn't necessarily contradict Washington in that Connecticut hit a seamount. The video implies that the sub was engaged in a high speed chase and HSU collision destroyed the sonar arrays at the front. The sub could still hit a seamount which could be what forced it to surface.
Edit2: it seems like as of 10:20 p.m. ET the video has been censored. It was up for less than 12 hours. Move along folks, nothing to see here...
