I have a ticket for FM (the band) tonight at the Holmfirth Picturedrome, we're travelling from further afield and the driver has bailed as the weather looks like we might get stuck.
My ticket is available for collection at the box office there, if anyone wants it, DM me and I'll give you all the details you need to pick it up. No charge, don't want it to go to waste! :)
So yeah.. me and my fiancee split up nearly a year ago now, we have a son.. we just fell out of love after he was born.
Anyway I always struggled with socializing, I have ADHD so.. I just couldn't figure it out, still can't really.
But I see everyone around me has mates it partners and I'm just 'there' you know?

I have a 2 year old son with my ex, but I'm not looking for a step mum. Ideally you wouldn't be involved in his life until it was getting serious.so it would be a long while.

Me and my ex are completely done as a couple. There's no love there anymore, but we are civil and have no bad blood. But we will never be together again.
If these two points are a problem then I understand, this is why I'm having a hard time finding anyone.. but that's how it goes 🤷

I mean to put it bluntly I don't care if you're a transgender female you're still 'male' down below, some people can be funny with that shit but everyone is human in my eyes 🤷

I'm organising a family holiday at the end of October, and am planning several day activities including hiking around Castleton, a day in Manchester, and a visit to Bakewell and a brewery.
I'm looking for some interesting or unique day trips or things to do within an hour's drive (or potentially 2hrs max) from Holmfirth. Any suggestions?
LastBlueHero is starting his campaign in the beautiful town of Holmfirth. Instead of a flashy, pointless PR grabbing stunt, he is canvassing in the area so he can help tackle local issues.
LBH knocks on the first door clipboard in hand and waits a for a few seconds before an old lady opens it up.
Old Woman: Oh thank god it's only a Conservative!
LBH: Yes your Conservative candidate for West Yorkshire, here to...wait why are you so relieved it's a Conservative? Usually the door is slammed in my face and I've been called some fancy new offensive term by now.
Old Woman: For years we've had these three old men terrorise the village. All we want to do here in Holmfirth is live an easy life away from the hustle and bustle of this city but every week, these three old men find themselves in some crazy situation which always disturbs the peace for the rest of us.
LBH: Well you'll be glad to know that under the Conservatives we are planning to continue to recruit 20,000 police. As well as that, we are giving them ways to deal with the mental health problems that can come with the job so retainment is increased.
Old Woman: That sounds wonderful, but what can we do about these old men now?
LBH: Well, Puts on sunglasses, they do call me a Hero.
Cut to the top of a hill. LBH and his agent are hiding behind a bush.
Agent: I really should be doing data entry so I have to ask again, what are we doing here again?
LBH: Let me explain. Over there, is a bathtub on the top of the hill. Old eccentric men in West Yorkshire cannot resist riding down a hill in a bathtub, something I know because of my vast local knowledge in West Yorkshire that means I would serve well as an MP here. When they ride down the hill, they will have no control because bathtubs famously have no steering. Therefore they will fall right into my trap and go into the back of the well-positioned police van with its back doors wide open at the bottom of the bill.
Agent: Oh, that police van is being driven by two police officers recruited during the recent Conservative government?
LBH: Yes, exactly! So now we play the waiting game.
Within two seconds, three old men come out of nowhere and immediately climb into the bathtub. The bathtub then careens down the hill and into the back of the police van as planned. The police officers then close the back doors and quickly drive off.
Agent: Well that was stupid and a waste of my time.
LBH: So were they, Mr. Agent. So were they.
Entrance is £5 and DVD at £10. I know this is a bit commercial, but very interesting. I'll be there!
