A list of puns related to "Herdsman"
Hi all
Iβm trying to add a converter to HA for a bulb that isnβt automatically supported but does have support provided by an external converter. Iβve followed the instructions for adding this, and used the existing external converter, but canβt get past the above error.
I've copied the external converter from koenkk's GitHub page and put it in the same directory as the ZigBee config file, and changed the Z2MQTT Config to point to it, but the "Cannot find module 'zigbee-herdsman-converters/lib/extend'" error persists.
Can I add these missing modules manually, or does anyone know where they are in the system so I can point to them directly? Thanks for any advice!
Iβm a 24 year old dairy herdsman with an undergrad degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University. I really enjoy the intellectual part of my work. Figuring out what is going on with sick cows, reading research about different topics in dairy. Iβm really considering if going to vet school is what Iβd like to do. I have a few questions for the large animal vets on here.
My biggest hang up is the debt I would have to take on. I have no undergrad debt. I would however have to do about 2 years of undergrad prereqs in chem, bio, etc to be able to apply to vet school. I would ideally do these while still working (maybe 40 hrs a week instead of 75). Working while in vet school obviously would not be an option, so debt would likely be necessary. As a large animal vet, has your student debt been an issue post graduation?
My other question is related to the competitiveness of admission to vet school. Is having an interest in large animal an (dis)advantage? Would having herdsman experience be something that would make me a more competitive candidate?
If money was no issue, this is what I would be pursuing, which makes me feel like it may be what I need to do regardless of the financials, just for my own personal growth.
