Is Port-Harcourt an English only city?
I grew up in Port-Harcourt, and English is my first and only language. It's the same with most of my circle; they only speak English as well. Growing up, I don't remember there ever being a dominant or common language spoken by the Port-Harcourt people; maybe Ikwerre? But it's not really spoken by the majority of the population, just the indigenes and that's usually among the older generation. I currently live in Ghana (came here when I was 17; I'm currently 20), and most people are surprised when I tell them that I only speak English.
