If you’re a noob like me and having prints starting like this, you may have an adhesion issue not leveling. Been trying to solve this thinking it was leveling. Just sprayed some hairspray on my bed and print is now sticking! Worth a shot if you’re having issues.

how to make my hair less stringy and flat? this is what it looks like after a wash and dry. It's so flat & fine that I have to heatsyle it everyday and use a tonne of hairspray to keep it in place, but I never see anyone else having to do the same with their bangs! mines so flat at the roots

Failing Benchies. I thought it was an adhesion problem, but I'm using hairspray, which I have printed with before and no issues. The lines, circles, squares all print great, it's just at the door arches where it is failing. What can I do to fix this?

I live in an area with a lot of flying insects. When they get in my house I reach for a can of hairspray. They drop like a rock as soon as you hit them with it and it’s easy to dispose of them afterwards. Many times I’ve seen wasps and hornets fly around crazy after getting hit with bug spray….not so with hair spray. It’s also seemingly less toxic than chasing a wasp around your house with a can of Raid.

This is my 4th attempt at the articulated dragon. It refuses to stay stuck to the bed because the nozzle keeps pushing it off. I’m using hairspray and I’ve adjusted my settings to 8 mm/s and 0.3 for the first layer. Are there other settings I need to adjust to stop this?

A friend of mine is looking for non-aerosol dry shampoo and hairspray. I don’t use either of these things so I come to you. Do you have any you’ve tried and loved? And recommendations that are reasonably priced? TIA

Brand new glass bed (my first) and after seven failed attempts I finally got a print to stick. Without glue, this glass had scarily little adhesion and my normal hairspray didn't work at all.

If you use hairspray as a bed adhesive do not clean it with rubbing alcohol first. It makes the stickiest goo known to man. Don't ask how I know this, please.
Noob question on hairspray chipping
Hi I am new to weathering model kits with chipping. I had a question on hairspray. Why do we use basecoat+hairspray+topcoat for chipping. What would happen if you let the basecoat dry for a few days and then apply topcoat ( let it stay for like 5-10 minutes) and then chip with water only using a brush or toothbrush? Has anyone tried this? What would happen? What would happen to your model if you chip without hairspray?
