A list of puns related to "Hada"

(tl;dr) This Japanese novel, not available in English translation, is a fairly dark but nuanced story about a young woman who attempts to FIRE and risks getting lost in the spreadsheets.
Hanami is a woman in her early thirties, childless, unmarried, working an office job at the Japanese branch of an American food manufacturer in Chiba. She earns a mediocre salary but saves every yen she can and invests it into the stock market β preferably into U.S. stocks because they pay out higher dividends than Japanese ones. To save up the capital for her investments, Hanami cuts costs wherever she can. She has invested a lot of energy into finding a rent-controlled apartment and drives an extremely small and cheap car. Her social life too is subjected to a strict savings regime. In the opening passage of the novel, Hanami receives a wedding invitation from an old acquaintance. She quickly estimates what it would cost her to attend the party, a little more than 10,000 yen ($100, more or less). Then she starts calculating in her head:
> For convenience, let's assume I use this 10,000 yen to buy high-dividend U.S. stocks with a yield of 5%, so 500 yen per year. If I were to compound my investment by reinvesting the dividend, the 10,000 yen will become 16,289 yen after 10 years, 26,533 yen after 20 years, and 43,219 yen after 30 years.
Now if the dividend yield is calculated at 7%, and factoring in dividend increases, the figure will be 19,672 yen after 10 years, 38,697 yen after 20 years, and 76,123 yen after 30 years.
[β¦]
Thirty years from now - when I'm sixty-two years old - will my friendship with the woman who invited me continue? Which would I rather have, 76,123 yen in the future, or a connection with a friend that may or may not last?
In the end, Hanami goes for the money and declines the invitation. Her future self β the sixty-two-year-old woman whom she imagines long happily retired on her investments β takes precedence over both her current and future social obligations.
Some people think of early retirement as a quest for self-realization, a way of building a more fulfilled and less consumption-driven life for yourself. But Hada paints a darker picture of the FIRE mindset. Hanami is motivated primarily by fear and by a desire to βget on the side of the exploitersβ before it is too late for her. Working conditions at her company have recently deteriorated because the US management has been putting the squeeze on the Japanese branch:

... keep reading on reddit β‘I can get from DM is Any good ? also is same as Hada Labo Gokujyun ?
Hi, I was scouring this sub and others and saw Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion recommended a few times as a toner. I believe it's this one.. Looking at the product it seems like more of a serum? But it's mostly in Japanese so it's hard to tell. Would I use this as the toner step, and then follow it with my serum, or can it be used as both the toner and serum step? Any help appreciated!
Iβm flying on Saturday and only have a carry on! Will tsa toss my cream? It says 100g on the packaging but the tsa site only specifies ml and fl oz!
Anyone here flown successfully with their perfect gel ?
Reason it was banned in Pauper:
Hada Freeblade was printed as a promo, and accidentally downshifted to common by a technicality, alongside [[Spatial Contortion]] and [[Circle of Flame]]. The three were then added to the pauper banlist immidiately as a correction.
For this reason, I have chosen to unban Hada Freeblade from 5cap. It's not overwhelmingly good, and I don't think it should have been banned.
I am also considering unbanning Spatial Contortion, for the same reason.
I'm wondering if I'm using this product right. I apply it to damp skin, rub it in, then apply moisturizer and an occlusive over it while still damp and it does... nothing. The hyaluronic acid doesn't seem to dry my skin out but it also isn't "plumping" it up either. I really liked the minimal ingredients of this product and wanted it to work.
I was using The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid before this and while it gave that plumping effect, it caused irritation (don't know if it was the B5, the algae, or the hyaluronic acid weights in it.)
Or does anyone have suggestions for another similar product? Doesn't have to necessarily contain hyaluronic acid, I'd just like some sort of serum-type product that adds some much-needed moisture to my super reactive skin.
which sunscreen do you like more, and why? and which one is more hydrating?
Hi guys, please suggest some legit websites to buy these products from.
I saw iHerb has the kiku lotion and hada lobo products on glassskin but not sure itlf it is legit.
Thanks
Ingredients went from:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether, Methylparaben, Disodium Succinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Methyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Succinic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
to:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetyl Hyaluronate, Lactococcus Ferment / Hyaluronic Acid Ferment Filtrate, Dipropylene Glycol, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose ether, Diglycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Disodium succinate, Succinic Acid, Phenoxyethanol
It smells different, dries different, feels different, and isn't, IMO, as effective (for me).
I've tried buying the "old" formula on amazon but I get the new formula anyway.
Are there any websites where I can get the old formula? I don't know what I'm going to use now :(
Hello,I recently purchased cosrx snail essence to possibly help with dryness from winter / tretinoin, but also hoping it would help fade my PIE with its moisturizing benefits. How would I incorporate this product into my routine alongside the Hada Labo HA Lotion. My current routine:
Also, is it redundant to use Hada Labo and Snail Essence together since they do similar things?

Can anyone recommend a safe serum with anti-aging benefits that pairs well with the Hada Labo plumping gel?
I use the HL as part of my pm routine, which right now is Avene Tolerance cleanser (+sensibio micellar if I wear makeup) and the HL. I use the micellar water, vitamin c serum, avene tolerance emulsion, and elta md Uv clear in the morning.
Would love any suggestions to round out my basic regimen!

Bought bulks/extra products but turned out they were not a match with my skin, unfortunately (yes, I spend a lot of stupid money).
Shipping from Denmark so shipping prices wary and generally quite expensive... prefer people that buy in bulk to ensure buying is worth shipping prices!
