I never thought I would have the privilege of comparing these three boxes of wobbly fun when I have been bluntly refusing to pay the ever-increasing gouger prices, but sh*t happens and here it is! I'm not here to show off, but rather to share my thoughts on these pedals and hopefully help a few people to quell their desires and save some money against a crazy market.
(THIS WILL BE A TL;DR FOR MOST OF YOU. skip the next paragraph if you know what these pedals are and just want to read the writeup, and skip to the last chunk if you already know all the control options just want my personal comparison experience for your consideration).
If you don't know the Generation Loss, there are many videos and writings of both praise and criticism.The one in the middle is the last version of the original Cooper FX lo-fi-VHS emulator (a random vibrato with possibilities for bit-crushing, HP/LP filtering, and noise), to the left is the wonderful Arcades multi-effect console (this one takes different cards for different programmes, and one of these cards has programmes based on the Generation Loss), and to the right is the "legendary" Chase Bliss Audio/Cooper FX collaboration which was released in an edition of 1,000 and can currently be bought from vampires at the low-low price of β¬1,100 on Reverb (DO NOT BUY IT, for reasons which will follow).
I'm not going to say a lot about comparisons between the OG Cooper FX version and the CBA edition because these are actually very different in how you can process the signal. Both pedals cover similar ground and can get some similar sounds, but the controlling of Speed/Span vs Wow/Flutter are further from each other than you may think. There are many beautiful settings on the original which you will NEVER get from the CBA, and likewise the CBA has its own offerings which the original can't quite touch.
The CBA is NOT an "upgraded" Generation Loss, it is a different pedal.
There are some aspects which certainly are improvements, such as the wet volume control and the integration of full MIDI control, but there are also some serious compromises where the noise and dry volume can only be adjusted at set intervals via the switches rather than having the full potentiometer sweeps of the OG. I have received a ton of questions asking for further information or help. I would love to answer all of them since I love helping people with their own projects. Unfortunately I don't have the time anymore to answer all of you. I am thankfully still employed full time at a computer repair shop. My advise is if you are interested in fixing or building a Switch of your own check out some YouTube breakdown tutorials. They can go into way more detail then I have about the various pieces.

Iβm so fuckin sick of this garbage company. For YEARS the area I live in has had nothing but garbage internet connection even if Comcast is βavailableβ it cost less an arm and a leg to connect and subsequently pay for. Now that Iβve moved to an area with even worse internet I finally decide to find out what it will take to get the garbage company to hook up internet to my house and what do they want? $90k thatβs right 90,000.00 dollars to run a line that would service 58 residencies. Fuckin absurd, I canβt wait until Elon musk and Jeff bezos run this shit business into the fuckin ground.

The seller typically is the person clearing out the aisle and sitting on it. This behavior removes access to these items from anyone unable or unwilling to pay outrageously inflated fees.
This behavior is also why my cancer-ridden mother and her friends from the chemo center are unable to get their hands on any supplies. Her friends are dying because they donβt have access to things they need to protect themselves. No masks for the leukemia patients. No disinfectant for the lung cancer sufferers. Itβs not fair or acceptable to profit by making another suffer.
So next time you see $120 Clorox wipes, remember they were taken away from someone without the ability to pay that price.
