Villa Lyckhem was the last remaining wooden villa at SΓΆdra VΓ€gen in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was constructed in 1876 by prominent local architect J A Westerberg. Demolished on May 20-22, 2000 for the construction of the Museum of World Culture which opened at the site in 2004.

Hi gothenburgers,
Iβm looking for any information on arts and craft fairs or markets that might be happening this year in Gothenburg. Iβm an artist and Iβm interested in having a stall to sell some stuff but I canβt find much information on if thereβs any such events happening this yearβ I donβt really know where to look or who to ask!!

In 1990 two men dressed as police and banged on the door of the Isabella Gardner Stewart Museum in Boston saying that there had been reports of a robbery. When the guards opened the door the men tied them up and made off with over $500m in paintings. Neither the art nor the men have ever been found.

TIL the Boston Museum of Fine Art has a fragment of an egyptian ivory box that has the name of the woman called benerib, the queen consort of first dynasty pharaoh hor-aha. The name benerib can be translated as "sweetheart" and is thought to be an ephitet than a name.
