A list of puns related to "Gable"
This past year I just got into the amazing 'Emily of new moon' book series, and I shared my excitement here on this sub. Some user suggested I should read 'The Blue Castle' by the same author and I can't be more thankful to that user because I think I have a new fav book (Jane Eyre, it's your turn to share).
I plan to read the whole Lucy M.M bibliography because I just love everything she wrote. She has a unique style and I LOOOOVE the connection with nature.
I remember starting this book and thinking how weird it was we didn't have nature elements around but then when I got into the part Valancy moves into Blue Castle, oh my God. It's sounds like a Dream come true.
I love Valancy and I love all the characters in this book. I enjoyed the family reunions because I think they are well painted. I mean, the characters are so real. I think this is one of Lucy's books in which side characters have so much depth. I read in goodreads some negative opinions about the plot being unrealistic and creating wrong expectations for young woman. But I think it's obvious this is A STORY, it's not based on real facts and everyone knows you face some risks when you leave your house lol.
I think Valancy is a refreshing heroine. She gave me total Fanny Price vibes but I liked her more. Oh my God, the moment she starts to put everyone in their places. I WAS LIVING FOR THAT.
So from now on, which Lucy M book should I read now?
I've read. Emily trilogy, Anne first book and this one :)
Ummmmm Kelly Stickle deleted a whole bunch of shit off of her Instagram. All of the the ones about her family visiting, all of her recent baking ones. Itβs all gone.
I know the Kurt comparisons are overstated but last night he reminded me of pre-milk truck Kurt, βThree Iβs Kurt. I laughed out loud all throughout the alpha academy/rk-bro segment and I feel what we saw of Gable last night was something weβd had yet to see from him.
Anyways, all this to say, 100% sold on Alpha Academy.
I didnβt realize my husband had posted this earlier in the week, and wow - thank you all for the old house love!
I wanted to share some more history on the house.
Our home was built in 1853. The folks we bought it from owned it for 20+ years, and meticulously maintained and renovated it by hand over the course of their ownership (before we bought it). When the previous owner purchased it, it was a legal 2 family that had been converted before he bought it. He spent 20+ years reconverting it back to a single family home again, which it is today.
I recently found these historical photos (taken in 1894 to 1910, one is not dated) from the HPC's archive, showing the original state of the home, and even the original homeowner dating back to the 1800s.
Itβs truly incredible how much detail and sweat equity it took to maintain the house's historic character over time. The only noticeable aesthetic alterations I see are 1) the relocation of the chimney, which may have been done when the house had a stint as a legal 2 family home (since been reconverted back to its original single family state). Maybe it was done when the home was converted from a coal fired furnace to oil. Who can say?; and 2) the porch was double wide at some point, guessing a building or safety code stepped in and made them put railings in. I have no clue, speculating.
I wanted to share these, because it made me realize how much we truly appreciate and respect the many owners in the past β especially the most recent β for the meticulous attention to detail, maintenance, upkeep, and restoration work that went into this house to bring it to its current (and original) historic glory. Itβs a labor of love.
That love and labor is our responsibility now. Pretty amazing.

Edit: what if they had weigh ins? Both have to make the same weight?
Does an apes p4p strength beat his skill?
My husband and I took PCR tests at an outdoor pop-up testing stand on Monday, and still don't have the results. Is this happening to anyone else? We're not even sure who to call. The testing cite was right across from Merrick Park in Coral Gables and is still there.
My husband needs the results to return to work after testing positive for covid around Christmas.
With how the WWE doesn't like to even remotely share names. These two are very much the same. Does Chad Gable change his gimmick to just become a "CHAD" ?
I cannot imagine them abandoning Gable Stevenson's name and the recognition it currently holds
On June 19th, 2019 Gable Steveson and a University of Minnesota wrestling teammate were both arrested after the Police received a 911 call the previous night about an alleged sexual assault that involved a foreign object object.

Six months after Stevesonβs arrest, it was announced that he will not face criminal charges due to βinadequate evidence,".
When speaking to the media, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman hinted that alcohol may have been involved. He also stated that under Minnesotaβs current laws at the time on intoxication and a victimβs ability to give consent, Hennepin County Attorneyβs Office βwould restricted in how it could bring charges in the caseβ.
He later went one to state that βIn neighboring Wisconsin, Freeman said, prosecutors have broad discretion to charge suspects who know or should know that someone's alcohol consumption can impair his or her ability to give consent. He said he and others have pushed Minnesota lawmakers to pass similar legislation but have been unsuccessful so far.β
Gable Steveson maintained that he was β100% Innocentβ during this period.

What exactly is this law you ask? Well in Minnesota:
>a person who is sexually assaulted while intoxicated isn't considered "mentally incapacitated" if he or she consumed alcohol or drugs voluntarily.
In laymenβs terms, if a person drank themselves to a point where they could not consent to sexual acts, they were not considered too impaired to have done so.

This was a contentious topic which sparked protests in Minnesota. On June 30th, 2021, this loophole which might have helped Steveson avoid charges, was repealed by Minnesota law makers.
βBuried deep in the massive public safety bill that lawmakers passed overnight Wednesday is a provision that closes the βintoxication loopholeβ in Minnesotaβs third-degree sexual conduct law. That statute says a person who is sexually assaulted is not considered βmentally impairedβ if they voluntarily drank alcohol or consumed drugs to the point where they could not give reasoned consent. To meet that standard for impairment, current law requires the drugs or alcohol must be βadministered to that person without the
