A list of puns related to "Filet De Boeuf En Croute"
This year will be my first time making it, though I made the Beef En Croute last year. I remember the cooking time for that was much longer than on the box (per usual for TJ's cooking instructions, tbh, but it was unusually long even for that).
I've also heard the gravy it comes with is not very good, should I get a different gravy?
I’ve had these in the freezer for a few weeks, partly waiting on my new air fryer and partly because these got mixed reviews here. Sorry for the wait.
I’d say these are just okay. First, there’s not much actual beef in the filling. Maybe a small bit or two per bite. Second, there are wild discrepancies in size between pieces. Some are very small and the balance between filling and pastry is better, but the larger ones have too much pastry and too little filling. Since the pastry doesn’t have much taste, this is a problem.
Overall, I’d say these aren’t as bad as I feared, but I probably won’t buy them again if they’re back next year.
I love almost everything I get from TJ's, and I'm generally not picky. But man, the beef en croute bites were such a miss. I air fried them until they were hot and crispy, about 8 minutes I believe. The outside tasted okay, not very flavorful. The inside was somehow bland and flavorless, while also tasting like the cheap "steak" you would get in a hot pocket. The pieces of meat were such poor quality, mostly gristle and fat with an unpleasant crunch. Some bites were so full of gristle I couldn't chew it. My husband has lower standards than I do for quality of meat, and even he had to spit out several bites.
Normally I would assume it's a matter of personal taste and this product just isn't for me, but I feel like I have to try to save anyone from serving these to guests for the coming holidays.
I have built over 100 airships, and try ever method to add banabas to Enbesan warehouse, but these two recipes never unlock. What should I do?
Are these new? Saw them tonight - was tempted (but not enough freezer space at the moment).
