I drive a 2012 Scion xB now at 174k miles. A few weeks ago it started very occasionally popping out of third gear, usually while going up hill. Today it won’t stay in fifth… I should add that I had the clutch replaced back in May.
Any suggestions what might be causing this and what I might expect when I bring it in to the transmission shop?
This only happens in fifth and sixth gear when I roll on the throttle, not at constant speed. It's kind of a clattering noise. Nothing to do with lugging the engine...happens at any RPM.
Has never seemed to result in anything bad and I'm trying to ignore it. Just seems odd.
This morning on the way to work my Yamaha Bolt wouldn’t shift into fifth. After a couple of tries the speedometer said fifth but it never actually dropped in. How bad is it?
Second transmission in this car. First one had an issue where it would occasionally grind hard when shifting into 5th, even spitting the shifter back out into neutral. The current trannie was installed 2-3 years ago, and we put an aftermarket 5th gear into it for lower rpms. Worked great. After 2-3 years of no issues with 5th whatsoever, yesterday I noticed a bit of grinding when shifting into 5th. Not as bad as the old trannie, but still not a good sound (and it happened on about half my shifts into 5th yesterday). I'm thinking there's something wrong with my syncros, but I was hoping to get another opinion or two before we go taking things apart.
Might be relevant that the new trannie (current one) had an issue with reverse from the beginning. Put it into reverse and you might get a loud clunk, but put it into any forward gear before reverse and she goes smoothly every time
Anyone that have beaten the mod can help me beat that mission? The mission lead you to an area that use super soldier that have 25000HP and 0 DT as fodder. While those bastards only use melee, I still can't kill THEM before THEY chop me to piece, any help/suggestion?
The mission before use ONE as the boss, and with the help of the 4 companion the mod provided and a helicopter and a few ally soldier I managed to kill the ONE on the rooftop, but that it. I am unable to deal with a swarm of boss grade enemy at once.
Abilities of Super soldier: 25000HP, 0DT, Stealth, Jump&Run around like crazy, have some mobility under TCL, Have a Machete that do a fuck ton of damage, Have drug in their inventory that do Crazy buff.

as said the fith gear mod isnt working for me, i installed the mod prperly and it shows up in mod loader pro in game but when i change the atios or try to add more gears is does nothing, can somebody help me with this?
