A list of puns related to "Field Dog Stud Book"
I read it in 2016 in elementary school gr. 6 all I can remember is that it took place some where in the Middle East or South Asia and this child and her pet dog left some kind of orphanage to find a lavender field, the kid helps a wealthy family along the way but later gets arrested because someone accused the kid of robbing them but the rich family bails them out and letβs her live with them until she lets in a bunch of homeless people in the house and they drop her off at the same orphanage in the end and she goes out again to find the field but the dog stayed behind.
Here's hoping your Monday miracles are coming to fruition!!

Hey there. Sorry if this is the wrong place or if the sun has info elsewhere. Iβm finding it hard to find concrete answers to questions I have around breeding my dog. For context, heβs a Scottish terrier that is now nearly 18 months. As the breed is in decline in the U.K. and there are no breeders in our part of the country, coupled with the fact he ticks all the boxes for a good stud, we think we owe it to the breed to stud him out once ready. Weβve read the KC guides but we have some more questions:
Are there any other resources that you have for the U.K. that would be helpful?
Thanks,
Freddie
I read this book when I was young, and read it again now that I am older. It still rings true about the nature of work in America. Studs Turkel is one of the great journalists of the 20th Century. Here is the opening paragraph of the book...
>This book, being about work, is, by its very nature, about violenceβto the spirit as well as to the body. It is about ulcers as well as accidents, about shouting matches as well as fistfights, about nervous breakdowns as well as kicking the dog around. It is, above all (or beneath all), about daily humiliations. To survive the day is triumph enough for the walking wounded among the great many of us. https://noputhyfooting.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/introduction-to-studs-terkels-working/

Looking for books that might help me get a bit more cluey about the field and help gain some new knowledge and maybe even expand my expertise!
'I count 37', claims the farmer.
'I count 40', replies the dog.
'How did you get 40?!'
'I rounded them up!'
Horse fencing: Legal question. My neighbor's male horses keep getting through a rickety part of a fence that connects our two ranches. Last year one of his studs knocked up my mare. He refused to even pay for the vet. Luckily, there were no complications. I had to call the vet myself when the foal was born. He hasn't offered to help with feed or care or compensate me for any of this trouble in any way. I specifically asked if he had stabled his male horses. He told me that he had fixed the problem, so I opened up the big field so the filly could run around in a bigger area. Turns out, the fence hasn't been fixed at all. Not three days later, another one of his studs made it to the fence and mated my mare through one of the square holes. He claims the stud was "a fence away" and he won't fix the rickety now broken fence until this fall. I actually have more mares the rescue is holding for me because they didn't want the rescue horses getting pregnant and clearly I won't be getting them back this year if at all at this rate. Is what he's doing illegal? What if anything can I do about this?
Hey there! I am looking for a grassy, fenced area where my dog can run freely. The dog parks in salt lake just arenβt what she needs (alone free running). But sheβs an escape artist so we need a fence. Any recommendations for a big, grassy fenced field where she can run her heart out?
The idea is a book club of 6 people where every month one member recommends a book that they find interesting to the rest of the group to read and afterward we can have an online call to discuss it, what stood out for us.
By the end of the year, we would have read 10 books from outside our usual scope so we can all expand our thought bubbles and meet interesting people from around the world in the process.
It's a very fluid concept, and if one of the members suggests a way to make it even better or more interactive, I'd be very happy to incorporate it.
Kindly message or comment if interested
