Hello! I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend and a wonderful Mother’s Day! The time has come where I must clear out quite a few pens. Truthfully this is long overdue. This is the first of several posts to follow over the next couple weeks that will encompass modern pens and even a few vintage pens as well. As some of you know, I’m mostly a vintage guy and am moving towards mostly all vintage. As such, I have quite a few pens to clear out. I hope you see something you like! Thanks for looking :-)

[A2] Monteverde Giant Sequoia SS Med. nib, Brown $50 + shipping Inked only once then cleaned and stored. This pen is a tad too big for my hand. It’s beautiful and writes very well, it’s just not for me. Includes converter.

[D for vintage] Eversharp Symphony 14k Fine nib Black with GFT REDUCED $60+ shipping This one writes superbly! I have too many vintage pens and don’t use this one enough. If your looking for more of a daily friendly vintage option, this is the one for you. It does have what I would call “bounce”. It is by NO MEANS a flex nib. More semi flex really but regardless, line variation can be had. There is some wear on the cap, which is to be expected from a pen this old. However it doesn’t impact function whatsoever. This pen was restored in 2020 so it’s ready for you to enjoy it for years to come! NO BOX, JUST PEN.

Been running a pair of Sonus Faber Soneto IIs for around 6 months in an oddly shaped room. They're properly powered (200w) and positioned on the included stands...Demoed a pair of Heresy IVs... It's night and day. I prefer the accuracy of the Sonus but the Klipsch has better soundstage, clarity, breath, better at low listening, and sounds 'real' compared to what I have.
Are there any others out there that have transitioned from Sonus models to Klipsch?

I will have Marc Faber (Gloom Boom Doom) on the Judgment call Podcast this week. What should I ask him?
I'm about to finish a program that I've been taking for some Professional Dev and to celebrate I am going to treat myself to a new pen. I've been thinking about the Faber-Castell Fountain pen, E-motion Pure series Silver as I hear that it's heavy (I like heavier, large pens) and I like the look of it. I'd love to hear what people have to say about it, or others like it. I mainly have TWISBI's, LAMYs and Kaweco pens right now. Looking to try a different brand.

Es ist Winter, es schneit, es ist dunkel. Ich komme nach 12h Arbeit nach Hause und freue mich auf mein Zuhause. Kurzer Griff in den Briefkasten. Ein paar ganz normale Briefe. Strafzettel vom Kreis, Kripo, Versicherungen, Gerichtsvollzieher, alles langweilige Umschläge, grau, weiß. Einfallslos. Und siehe da. Ein bunter Umschlag mit einem netten älteren Mann drauf. Daneben steht Faber und ein buntes Logo. Wie unterkühlt muss ich gewesen sein, dass ich es für eine gute Idee hielt den Umschlag aufzumachen. Das war der Anfang einer fast Sucht.
In dem Umschlag ein großes Blatt mit Kratzlosen. Diverse Gewinne möglich. Von 10.000€ oder lebenslange Rente von 200€ bis hin zu 1000000€ und Traumhaus. Ich mal fix alles freigerubbelt und natürlich habe ich mehrere Gewinne. Unten auf dem Zettel steht in klein, dass es keine Gewinne sind sondern Teilnahmelose an Verlosung dieser. Alles komplett gratis. Das war noch nicht mal gelogen. Bedingung war ein Anruf und Bestätigung der Teilnahme. Ich dachte mir selbst, du machst das so lange es gratis ist und dann meldest du dich wieder ab. Ist jederzeit kündbar. Wenn du gewinnst dann hast du mal Glück im Leben und wenn nicht dann hast du auch nichts verloren.
Nach ein paar Tagen kam wieder bunte Post mit Bestätigung der Teilnahme ein paar neuen Kratzlosen und weiteren Gewinnspielen. Nichts spektakuläres. Noch ein paar Wochen später wieder ähnlich bloß war diesmal ein Kontoauszug dabei mit einem Guthaben von knapp 5€. Hmm OK. Ich habe also ein Konto bei denen, interessant. Wieder gewartet und wieder kam bunte Post. Diesmal dicker. Alles wie zuvor zzgl eines Informationsblattes über die anstehende mega super duper ultra seltene Verlosung und ich bin einer der wenigen die mehrfachchancen haben. Damit es nicht heißt ich hätte es nicht gesagt gehabt: ich habe zum keinem Zeitpunkt ernsthaft geglaubt dass ich wirklich gewinne.
Diese Post war diesmal so mega überladen und optisch fast schon eindringlich. Dabei ein Hinweis, dass es ab jetzt nicht mehr gratis ist und man sich bitte telefonisch melden möge wenn man kein Interesse mehr hat.
Ich habe mir den Spaß weiterhin gegönnt und gar nicht gemerkt, dass ich mich mittlerweile auf diese bunte Post und den kleinen kick bei Felder frei rubbeln, gefreut habe. Mittlerweile habe ich 2 Monate für 20€/ Woche mitgespielt. Mein Gewinnguthaben konnte mit den Gebühren verrechnet werden.

I would like to know if cap(top of the cap, before the clip) has any play like mine does when unscrewed? I've droppeded it few times and havent noticed this before. When its screwed back on, there is no play. Thanks.
I’ve read on this subreddit that the faber Castell nib is really good but I don’t like the body of the pen. Do all the other faber Castell pens have the same nib? I like how the grip model looks but I’m not sure if it’s as good as the loom.
