Independent operators dominate fast food and outperform chained ones, which closed down outlets in many categories. In the popular โotherโ fast food category, mostly comprising souvlaki, wherein there is a very high number of outlets, very few chains are present and they perform rather poorly, being one of the worst-performing categories (and with a steeply declining number of outlets) within consumer foodservice as a whole.

He predicted that "It's very possible that in a few decades, Russian will no longer be spoken there. The number of people studying Russian worldwide has halved in the 30 years since the Soviet Union collapsed and is anticipated to decline further, according to state estimates cited by the RBC news website Thursday. Russian ranks as the worldโs 10th-most widespread language with speakers in 27 countries, according to a report by the Higher Education Ministryโs subsidiary obtained by RBC. President Vladimir Putin has recently accused โcave-dwelling Russophobesโ of attacking the language. The number of Russian language learners has fallen from 74.6 million in the early 1990s to 38.2 million in 2018, the ministryโs subsidiary, the Center for Scientific Research, said.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Grab Holdings has agreed to buy Malaysian supermarket chain Jaya Grocer as the Southeast Asian superapp giant expands its deliveries business amid increasing demand for online grocery deliveries.
The Singapore-based ride-hailing and deliveries firm will buy all of Jaya Grocerโs ordinary shares and 75% of the companyโs preference shares for an undisclosed amount, according to a filing on Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal could be worth as much as 1.8 billion ringgit ($425 million), the Edge reported.
Grab shares dropped 5.30% to close at $6.79 on the Nasdaq overnight. While the merger with blank-check company Altimeter Growth Corp.โwhich facilitated its backdoor listing in the U.S.โvalued the company at $40 billion, the stock has tumbled about 48% since its market debut on December 2.

Jaya Grocer will help GrabMartโGrabโs grocery delivery serviceโstrengthen its footprint across Malaysia, where the grocery chain operates 40 stores primarily in the Klang Valley area comprising Kuala Lumpur and the state of Selangor. To comply with Malaysian regulations, Grab said half of the voting shares in Jaya Grocer will go to a local investor. The deal is expected to be completed in the first of quarter of 2022.
