A list of puns related to "Epiphany Season"
I grinded so hard on the first scoreboard. I was playing through gamepass streaming on my phone on my breaks at work to meet daily challenge goals. Would also stream at my partner's place after they fell asleep, if I was staying over, just to get my fix on score points.I wouldn't miss a challenge at all unless it was completely unobtainable with the low level character I had just started (pre- custom loadouts,, legendary perks, and respec stations. ) Hell, I even dove back into nuclear winter (which I didn't like because pvp isn't my thing) just for that 250 points a day. It burnt me out so bad I missed the second season entirely essentially quitting the game for 3 months.
Today i just realized I'll get to play for the first time in the better part of a week due to the chaotic work schedule I've had. I'm not concerned at all. I've missed several days and even entire weeks since then, and still managed to squeeze out the scoreboard in time. Season 2 is the only poster I'm missing.
I guess I just want to thank the devs for making the "battle pass" more accessible to the player that has life stuff happening and can't log in every day. Anyone else appreciative of this?
Idk why it took me so long to realize this but it seems like Baileyβs biggest issues with Meredith stem from their relationships with Webber. Sheβs always overreacting when Webber protects Meredith because she hates not being his number one priority. Sheβs petty and jealous.
We are going to get a time hop in the final 1 or 2 episodes of this season. Krista has said that she plans to write the season finale like a series finale. I don't know if the time hop will be months or a year. The show is technically still in May 2020. There is no way they can jump all the way to May 2021 by the season finale without a time hop.
We'll see...
Jo adjusting well with a new baby (Luna?). She'll continue to work in OB. [Her hair was crazy long and dark in her most recent Twitter pic]
Japril--Back together with a white picket fence with Harriet
Ben and Bailey--Ben comes back to GS. Bailey takes a step back from being Chief for her mental health.
Meredith wakes up. She takes over as chief so that she can continue to recover. She starts taking things slowly with Hayes. They build a family together.
I think we'll get an Amelia and Link wedding or vow ceremony.
Owen will be a single father unless Teddy pulls her life together.
Christina is still loving life in Switzerland. (Off screen)
Calzona stops by for a visit with Sofia. They are still madly in love.
Weber supports Grey as Chief of Chiefs. Catherine gets sick again. Tom works furiously to save Catherine.
Maggie & Winston get their happily ever after.
Am I crazy?!?!
We all know Daphne just isn't the same, especially after she gets pregnant and I realized something. She's mean to Roz, like the way Niles is mean to Roz, but not in the funny way, just the mean way. Roz is her best friend and now she ragging on her. The old Daphne would never be so rude after the fruit salad sex party confusion. It's just not her.
TL:DR - one thing that helped me climb out of iron and bronze is actually paying attention to my stacking runes (presence of mind, manaflow band, ultimate hunter, etc) and doing what it took to stack them up as soon as possible
I was Silver 2 back in season 3, stopped playing for a couple seasons, picked it back up and found myself in Iron/Bronze (donβt remember when iron became a real tier) and I just couldnβt get out. I have never claimed to be good at this game by any impressive measure, but I can (and could) hold my own.
There are many reasons that I finally managed to get back into silver. One would probably be that I used to get bored playing one champion or one role for more than like 5 games. I would venture out of my comfort zone for the sake of having fun. Thatβs what normals are for. Donβt experiment in ranked (duh). Another reason would be that I now have a much smaller champion pool that I feel comfortable to play reliably. I pay attention to βstrongβ meta champions, but I use my champions to climb without over diversifying myself. If it works, donβt break it, right? I actually started caring about vision and NOT face checking a bush when there are no enemies currently visible on the minimap (still working on that one to be honest...).
But the real epiphany that I recently had is that I started actually paying attention to is my stacking runes. You know Presence of Mind, Mana Flow Band, Ultimate Hunter, etc. I specifically started to actually care about roaming and applying pressure on lanes that I had not killed or assisted with yet in order to get UH stacked up. I stopped constantly poking with abilities in Mid Lane and waited for MFB to be off cool down so that it would continue stacking up the extra mana. I donβt pressure fights constantly and wait for Dark Harvest to come off cool down so that I can get another stack before the enemy gets pushed out of lane and backs before I can get more stacks.
This is all VERY obvious information that anyone with decent game knowledge of League would already know. But I think it is worth noting and remembering the importance of those stacking runes. They should not be underestimated. Stacking these runes as quickly and efficiently as possible have made me NOTICEABLY more powerful in my games.
Anyways, just my personal experience that I thought might be helpful to some other person trying to understand why they feel like they just arenβt improving.
I donβt believe in that costumer knows best bullshit but honestly.... some decorum with your customers please. he kicked a customer out just for sitting at a table for godβs sake.
I know theyβve been on a sleeping at last kick for like 3 years now, but if they donβt use the song βEpiphanyβ which is about Taylor Swiftβs grandfathers military service and covid (basically about things so terrible you canβt speak about them, if you havenβt listened itβs so, so good) then theyβre hugely missing out.
So ive done the math and I figured out that we are gonna have 4 more seasons after season one if they all have the same time period making 6 seasons in total 0,1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Season 0 was the launch of the game and within that season we got...
And Season 1 is basically Cod 4 themed apart from 1 weapon. We got...
And due to recent leaks and speculation we might be getting Overgrown and Broadcast which are both maps from Cod 4. So with all the logic we have at hand imma try and make my guess what were gonna get for each season ahead of us
Each Season
Season 2 ~ Mw2 Themed
Season 3
Season 4
Season 5 All the other seasons combined as a final Hoorah! to lead us CoD fans

I am rewatching the series and Iβm on episode 3.7 donβt delete me. The first time I watched it I really loved the movie theatre intro. Throughout the show I new there was something different about the cinematography but I couldnβt really pinpoint it. I just now realized that itβs shot in widescreen format like a movie is, going along with the movie theatre intro. I fucking love this show.
Duuuuuuuuudddddddeeeee....its NOT The Good Place! Michael just wiped their memory! Does it get better from here? Because it's already great! I'm glad I decided to give this forking show a chance!
So I had an important thought when I took a break from my s4 binge watch today: one of my favorite parts of season 4 is the 4x08 Super Bad Boyfriend scene in the school when Chloe is telling Lucifer about the prophecy, and Lucifer decides he needs to break up with Eve. Weird one to like, but here's why:
This is the first real time they both openly and fervently have a conversation since Chloe found out. It's an innocent thing, but the way they strategize and just CLICK - it warms my heart. And then this of course continues when he has his "devil" problem in episode 9.
So what's my epiphany? No matter what happens in season 5, the Chloe and Lucifer relationship has all cards on the table now. They cannot go back to a cycle of avoidance and repeating problems they kept going through the past four seasons. So that means, whatever the conflict for season 5, they'll solve it together - even if not in person, they'll still stand on the same footing, and I think that's beautiful.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Have you ever been to Rome during the Christmas season?
Seasons one and two opened with a tour through our own solar system. When season three came along, it was changed to a series of stellar phenomena.
I always thought it was an evocation of the Enterprise's travels between diverse locations.
I was just brushing my teeth, and my mind was idling. I found myself thinking about how people often refer to the ringed planet in the S3+ opening as "Saturn". It's not Saturn, it's clearly a rocky planet with a seemingly semi-molten crust.
The thought occurred: Like a newly-formed planet...
Which spurred the thought of: The protosolar disk seen just before... and the nebula before that.
Oh my gods... how did I miss it.
It's a flash-through of the various stages of solar system formation!
It begins with a nebula, which coalesces under gravity to form stars, which develop **proto-for a time!
EDIT, because I was literally losing consciousness as I typed this in bed last night, and those last few words are hilariously incoherent!:
Let's try that again, lol:
It begins with a nebula, coalescing under gravity to form stars. the flash of light might signify a star beginning nuclear fusion, or is simply a neat time jump.
Then we see a comet, or, more likely at this point, a chunk of planet-sized loose conglomerate matter ejected from, and arcing back down under gravity to the churning proto-planetary disk in the background.
The whorls in the disk that appear like storms in Jupiter's atmosphere are the beginnings of planet formation.
We slide into the debris streamer of the wayward chunk (ejected, no doubt, by the violent gravitational scuffles that occur in such a disk) and flash-forward again.
Now we're looking at a small blob of amber light, and now a moon, freshly cooled, orbiting a larger ringed planet whose crust is still somewhat molten, the planet's larger mass shedding heat far less quickly than its moon.
The rings themselves are like a mini proto-planetary disk at this point, and that amber glowing blob is potentially a former ring belt, turned recently-condensed moon, shuffled by gravity out beyond its larger sibling.
It's likely that this Planet will, in maturity, have no rings at all, and that their presence now is simply the final stage of the planet's formation, the debris self-sorting under gravity just like every step of the system's evolution so far!
But no time for that now! Here comes the **Enterp

"But it was at Elysian Fields that it hit me. I saw it... almost like a light bulb going off above my head. Where does the real power lie? The power behind the power. And i understood, Claire that we have to think and act differently than we ever have. Because its no longer about who lives in the white house, its about who owns the white hours. The real power isn't here. Its beyond here. its above it but still working in conjunction with it. Look Claire, you and i have always been on the inside. Trapped IN the bubble. But going forward, with my operating on the outside in the private sector and you working from here. We can own this house together. "
It seems that a good portion of the season 5 lead up to Elysian Fields which was a pivotal moment for Frank. It helped him understand that governments are not the only players when deciding how their own countries work. It is also the most powerful men and women of the world. Men and Women with money and hence influence. People that control the resources of large conglomerates that control entire economies and hence governments / leaders of countries.
Looking at today, the American government is powerful, YES, but the private sector holds considerable power and leverage. No matter which President / party, foreign policy and domestic policies have remained 80 - 90% the same to benefit large MNC's that have interests in those countries. Simply look at the whole "Too big To Fail" issue. Banks have only become bigger. Insurers have only become bigger. Companies like Blackrock that have trillions of USD in AUM can literally destroy the global economy if they wanted.
Large investment in countries like India, South Korea, Japan etc. by MNC's have made these countries incredibly dependent on these MNC's and the people that control these MNC's. This even comes to the point where the Indian PM rejected buying Iranian (a close ally) oil when the US put sanctions back on Iran due to their exposure to the American economy through these large MNC's.
The war with China is simply about tech, banking and economics. Going back into history, any opponent to the American financial system has been crippled quickly. BCCI being a big one. Created by Pakistani bankers, funded by the western MNC's, governments, intelligence agencies. It was used to funnel money through, giving the heads of the bank considerable power to the point where they could start buying politicians and even bought an American bank to

They didn't want to distract from the story with some corny excuse as to why Steve was around during the school year in Season 3, so they set him up as going to work for his father rather than college.
I'm not sure if I'm alone here, but I always wondered why Carol had super super short hair. But upon watching Season 1 again for the third time, I think I figured it out. So Ed couldn't grab and pull her hair when he started beating on her!!
Stupid post? Yeah probably. Did y'all all already figure this out? More than likely. But I had to share it with someone. Haha.
Y'all can Continue search for who Died at the end of Season 6 now. lol.
A week or so after my fourth viewing of the series, I had a random thought in the shower about this scene:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rWuJ3eD6Qc
I haven't seen this anywhere, but it's so obvious to me that I'm sure someone else has thought of it first. The previously when I saw this scene, I interpreted it as Slim just impulsively killing Cheese because he was obnoxious and/or that he knew all along that Cheese sold Joe out and his barely-contained desire for revenge finally took hold in this moment. Or that maybe there's nothing deep about it at all, just a cute and theatrical way for Cheese to get got.
But since we know that The Wire is not a cute and theatrical show, lets break down the events that transpire in the scene.
In the wake of Marlo's abdication, the co-op lieutenants are all trying to scratch together $10 million for the connect. They decide that they're short $900k. Cheese, who presumably had already kicked in his part of the $9.1 million, nonchalantly decides to cover the remaining 900, saying that "we'll all be more than paid once we get the connect." Then someone whines about how much better things were under Joe and that sets Cheese off, after which Slim kills Cheese.
My theory is that no one could really know that Cheese was the one who sold Joe out. No one could really now that anybody betrayed Joe, it could just be assumed that Marlo's guys ambushed him. Now word might quickly get around that Cheese was a prime suspect in Joe's demise, but nothing for a certainty.
Slim, a Joe loyalist, probably always suspected Cheese of betraying his uncle, but it isn't until this scene that he's virtually certain of it. That's because this off-brand dealer who's had enough territory to make great money for barely a few weeks now all of a sudden is able to put up 3-4 times his share for the connect. Clearly the only way he could have made so much money in so little time is from being paid by Marlo to give up Joe. The dialogue even directly suggests this by one of the lieutenants remarking at how Cheese could have that kind of money.
The show has already established precedent for this, as Cheese gave up Butchie for like 50 grand. From that point on, Cheese and Marlo had a "special relationship" and Marlo probably was paying him continuously to report on Joe's doings, and ultimately a big lump sum to give him up to be killed.
I think this all jives much more realistically than that the ever super-cool and laid back Mr. Sli

My girlfriend has been saying for some time that she wanted to see Drusilla again. She really enjoyed her character when she was on the show before, and she was looking forward to seeing her return. She got quite upset with me when I brought that up after we watched *The Trial.* Be careful what you wish for.
"There's no meaning!" she cried out. "He won Darla a second chance, and she died!"
"Yup," I replied. "That's exactly correct, and kind of the point of the story."
She didn't like that.

Angel firing the gang at the end of *Reunion* was also quite upsetting to her. Much more upsetting than letting the lawyers from That Company, that's for sure.
She never did learn Holland Manners' name.

She was happy to see the team, sans Angel, still working together in *Redefinition*. She liked seeing Gunn being friendly with the others, she liked seeing Cordelia committ
