A list of puns related to "Feast Of The Presentation"
The Great Hall had been transformed from the foreboding seat of government with its towering chair of steel, to what was undoubtedly the most festive place all of Westeros had, or would see this year. The Iron Throne disappeared into the background, as five long tables of oak dominated the space. The center table ran east to west, perpendicular to the hallβs layout, and near to the Iron Throne. It was flanked by two tables on each side running north to south. The last sunlight of the day trickled into through the keepβs windows, creating soft beams of light that focused in on the empty space in the center of the tables. Hundreds of candles were laid out illuminating the tables, and four tall torches were set out in the center, illuminating the area.
The center table had at its own center, perfectly aligned with the Iron Throne, two large and ornate chairs with a black mockingbird on a green field painted on to them. Queen Victaria sat in one of the chairs, while the other remained conspicuously empty. Seated near to these chairs was Prince Tristan and Lysa Lannister, Andar Royce and Asha Baelish, and Prince Roland and Melony Blackwood. To the east of them was Jon Stark, Duncan Manderly, Luthor Tyrell, Bonifer Connington, Perrianne Grafton, and Grandmaester Symon with their immediate families. To the west of the King and Queenβs seat sat Lord Tyrek Lannister, Prince Edric Martell, Lord Leo Tyrell, Lord Harras Greyjoy, and their own immediate families, as well as the families of Lords Baratheon and Royce. The four other tables in the hall seated the other various nobles, in no particular seating arrangement.
Pages, squires, and maids were busy moving around the Great Hall serving the drinks and getting everyone to their seats. Beer from the Westerlands, wine from the Arbor, and mead from the North were the primary drinks of the evening. People made conversation about many things, filling the chamber with the thunderous noise of voices. The nobles discussed the state of the realm, renewed old acquaintances, and made challenges, jests, and jokes. Yet among all the conversations there was one question that kept being asked over and over - where was King Edmund?
The question was answered soon enough, as heralds sounded a pair of trumpets, and four Kingsguard entered the Great Hall, bringing the previous cacophony to near silence. In the center of the Kingsguard was none other than King Edmund, dressed in simple robes of grey and black. He wore a simple and sl

The regular Active Player Thread has moved here.
The Feast of the Exceptional Rose 1898 is upon us and the fine people of London can send gifts to each other.
If you would like to participate, leave your name here. Let us know if you fancy something in particular. You can also trade fate-locked gifts but please make sure in advance your acquaintance is willing to reciprocate. It would be helpful if you edited your post after you got whatever you requested, so other players know they can still send you gifts but you already got that particular one.
The Feast is a really good source of certain items such as Romantic Notions, Stolen Kisses, or Touching Love Stories. Even for low-level players. It helps to be aware of the options on the Feast-card and to be able to change The Airs of London to get the option you want.
What else? During the second week of the Feast, you will be able to trade gifts you received to the Lady in Lilac. This will give you a quality called Masquing, which can be used to get special companions. You will be able to raise Masquing up to 30 using free gifts. You can raise it further using fate-locked gifts. Make sure to use free gifts first, otherwise you effectively waste Fate. You will be able to have a most revelatory conversation and to get a tattoo.

It will most likely answer all your questions. If you are still unsure about something, let us know in the weekly small questions thread or make a regular post.
Here's a little guide to the "Feast of the Rose!"-card. Be aware that there are reasons why you might want to choose other options than the ones I suggest here. Rare successes and Failures can do a lot of very interesting and very bad stuff, so it's worth checking the w

So I just did the JK Rishi side quest on a new JK. During which the line, "But in ten years, these people will send the pirates packing," caught my attention. It reminded me of the state that Rishi is in during the Feast of Prosperity with a newly formed government.
So I checked the timeline, and SoR takes place in 16 ATC, and Feast of Prosperity should be placed in 27 ATC by initial release date. So that does indeed put it right after the predicted pirate eviction. So kudos to whoever on the dev staff remembered that random line while putting together the Feast of Prosperity.
#The Opening Feast
>2nd Day of the 5th Moon 439 A.C.
It was a feast fit for a celebration, but the mood was far from festive. Inside the Great Hall of the Red Keep, the Iron Throne loomed large over every dignitary in attendance.
Representatives of nearly every house in Westeros had at last convened in Kingβs Landing, and the proceedings of the forthcoming weeks were initiated with a grand gathering. It was, of course, little more than a formality; there were no glad tidings to commemorate. No minds present could truly be at ease until the Great Council came to its decision - and for many, it was crucial that it would come to the right decision.
The Great Hall was perhaps the only venue large enough to host so many at once, but even in its furthest corners one could not ignore the sight of the vacated throne. In front of it a dais was raised, lending prominence to those who - regardless of the eventual outcome - would remain the closest kin to the king. At the right end of the dais was the Talonsβ table, covered in black and red cloth and headed by Queen Rhaenyra and her son Viserys. At the opposite end Queen Visenya and her son Daeron sat at the Wingsβ table, adorned in white and blue. Toward the center hosted the rest of the Targaryen family, most notably Prince Aerion - who had boldly declared himself a candidate for the crown. The bridge between them all, however, was the Lord Regent Aerys Velaryon; true to his ceremonial duties, it was he who presided over the event.
Beneath the dais long tables were placed, each corresponding to a particular region of the realm - some of which were represented by several crowded rows. All were arranged in a perfect perimeter surrounding an empty center floor, cleared to accommodate those still spirited enough to dance.
Though music filled the air, for many dancing was not the main attraction. Wine flowed like water; dry, bitter, sweet and spiced. Vintages rare and common, from both sides of the Narrow Sea. The kitchens of the Red Keep were famed, and they made good on their name; great foods to befit a great feast.
For some, the night would serve as a brief respite from the uncertainty that haunted every great lord of the Seven Kingdoms. For many more, it would provide the first of many opportunities brought about by such a massive congregation of noblemen. Alliances would be made, loyalties would be assessed, and plans would be devised - but first, the realm woul
