A list of puns related to "Endocrinology"
Yβall are such a strong population of human beings. I have seen so many complications of this disease and so many heartwarming success stories. However, Iβve only ever experienced diabetes on the side of the MD. Itβs a totally enlightening experience to read yβall supporting each other and your stories from your perspective. I could never imagine what you go through on a literal minute-to-minute basis. If thereβs anything youβd want your endocrinologist to know, Iβd love to hear from you. But mostly, just wanted to stop by and say thank you for helping me learn.
Iβm stuck between these two classes, and Iβm wondering if anyone, who has taken both or has heard much about the classes, has any recommendations
How many patients visit it daily? It AIIMS jodhpur better or sms Jaipur?
Pretty much what the title says. I have a first appointment in April with Dr Quinton to start testosterone. I know that he obviously does the prescribing following receipt of the report, blood test results, and consent form, but what else happens in the appointment? Is it just him discussing the effects - i.e., positive and negative, permanent and reversible - and types of HRT - i.e., injections or gel? Or is there other things that are discussed?
Also, probably an obvious question, but if my report recommends low dose will Dr Quinton only do low dose, or will he consider full dose if I request it? Just curious
Wanna ask someone in Australia is there anyone who has seen an endocrinologist and done it through an informed consent form, with my one I have to provide a form from my psychologist that I have been diagnosed with gender disphorya, is this right? Or what should I do? I plan on getting the report and emailing it to her I've waited too long. I'm live in Sydney btw
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to brush up on some endocrinology knowledge for an upcoming project. Any suggestions for free resources, especially if it's a textbook? I've heard Williams Endocrinology is pretty good. Thanks for any suggestions!
Apparently doctors don't have to honour appointments. Dr Ana McCarthy's resident, Dr Elaine Jayadiwangsa, has skipped calling me 2 weeks in a row!
I waited over a year to get in with Ana McCarthy, didn't get to see her, just got a resident, which, fine, she seemed to know her stuff okay, and we need more endocrinologists in SA able to do trans stuff. But seems they over book their follow up appointments.
Doctor was meant to call me last Friday, but didn't, and there wasn't even an automated text about rebooking. Called outpatients late Friday, and they said she's still making calls. Nope, made sure I'd been rebooked early this week, and they said she'd call this week. That's a filthy lie, because it's 5:30 pm, outpatients who do the appointments is closed, and she hasn't called a again!!!
This is not okay, I haven't slept properly all week, and now it's happened again. Do they just not care? 2 fucking weeks!

How was it? What were the exams like? If you had Anne Carlson, was she difficult, easy, or fair if you studied appropriately?
