I'm sure anyone who's played league for any considerable amount of time has been able to correlate certain champion picks with toxic behavior. I've been visiting the league main subs just to see what people are talking about and largely they're pretty similar with varying amounts of tips, guides, highlight plays, and fanart depending on how cute the champ is. But then I got to r/Draven and ... wtf. People co-opting a religion they know nothing about for a meme I was too late to understand, and just being absolute degenerates in general. How did this happen? It can't just be cuz of T1 right?

I'm so so excited about this book. It's big and thick and a SLOW burn. Its delicious. If I'm remembering correctly, it's a retelling of Beauty and the Beast along with one other, possibly Hades and Persephone?
Its giving me major Master of Crows by Grace Draven vibes, and it's even a little reminiscent of Land of the Beautiful Dead by R Lee Smith. This book is dark, and the characters live in a state of constant winter. Things feel bleak, but the atmosphere is also scary. The hero lives in a dark, stormy castle with thousands of doors that lead to different places. The heroine is trapped there, for reasons that I can't give away without spoilers. I'm only half way through, but this is definitely enemies to lovers. There are so many unanswered questions, still, and I'm at the edge of my seat with every sentence because it's just so good. The atmosphere in this book is amazing. The world building is dark and foreboding. I am in looooove and I'm begging yall to read it. I think it just came out to KU a few days ago so go check it out!!

My mom is 5 months pregnant. She wasn't planning on having another kid 15 years after having me but she chose to keep it. It's been hard on her because it was so different compared to me so she's been resting a lot. Last night I was playing some VR out in the living room because that's the biggest room in our apartment and the topic of baby names came up.
My mom said she was thinking of naming the baby Draven after the character Eric Draven from The Crow. The movie is important to her and has been for a while, so that's why she would consider the name. I told her just because she likes the name doesn't mean he (the baby) will like the name. She said that he will have to deal with it if she did pick that name and asked me if I liked my name.
I told her my name was mediocre and she said I could change my name when I'm an adult. I already planned on changing my name because 1. I'm trans and 2. I really don't like my name, it's boring and bland. I didn't tell her this, I just said I only have to wait 3 more years before I could. She got mad at me and said I could name my kids what ever I want. She doesn't know I don't want kids so I just stopped talking so the conversation would end.
She hasn't talked to me since. I feel like I was in the wrong for criticizing her name choise and that I shouldn't have said anything. Am I the asshole?

I am fucking sick and tired of seeing myself with 10 kills still getting less gold than a fucking rune. SO fucking boring that new champs gets Draven passive on fucking Crack. (akshans 100+ gold while reviving and no cooldown while dravens base gold is fucking 25 ON HIS W, pyke ULT PASSIVE)
First rune just made me realise how unfair and shit this bullshit passive is. Draven is forced to go dirk first item to have any sort of lane bully feel, he isn't a fucking bully anymore.

So these are all early game duos that can snowball very hard so I was wondering which one is the ultimate duo? This is assuming each champion is balanced equally and that they are all playing at the same skill level. I would assume it’s Draven and Leona but I was wondering what everyone else thinks?

So I've been sick with this fucking shit all week with no energy to do anything except lie in bed reading, lie on the couch reading, or lie on the floor reading.
I gotta say, friends, it is a serious silver lining. I blew through the B&N gift card I got for Christmas... and then finally tried the whole library Libby app thing and I can't believe I've been paying for all my books (the ones that aren't on KU, at least).
But holy shit, I finally read Entreat Me by Grace Draven, and just now I finished Master of Crows, and I am DESTROYED. I love, love, love her characters. Radiance has one of my all-time favorite relationships and I'm so NOT disappointed by these ones. I feel like every time I finish one of her books, I have to go for a long walk and have a snack and a cry, and then read something completely different to relieve this crushing satisfaction in my soul.
I was trying to explain this process to my husband and he kind of patted me and asked if I needed the jar of Nutella lol. He's supportive but just doesn't understand.
So now I need to know who else can make me suffer this way. Whether they contain orcs, mafia bosses, sexy vampires, rakish nobles or grumpy bosses- tell me your all time favorite books and authors that make you hurt so good.

Been playing some of swims rumble draven list (and a few others) and while he has the deck as Tier 1, I'm very confused and was hoping someone could explain it.
Deck rolls over to a stiff breeze, loses to it's own draws needing enabler+discard outlet, reborn grenader is a -1 in almost every situation, draven as a 3/2 dies the turn you play it 95% of the time, and rumble and Boom Baboon seems to be the only actual good cards in the deck.
I'm a reasonable player and did really well with Jinx Draven and Draven Sion in the past, but this deck I havent felt like I was particularly competitive basically ever
