I’m on my nth watch thru of the series and just got to the couple episodes with Lucy Liu’s son dying of AIDS and Ross sleeping with Harper. He’s just genuinely a bad guy, and unwilling to change his behavior under even the most intense circumstances (cheating on the lawyer with the kid he’d bonded with, etc etc ad nauseum). The character is constantly redeemed and I get why but it’s like plot armor for the ultimate dick.
