Patch notes: Move Atziri's Disfavour to a drop from Atziri, Queen of the Vaal in the Apex of Sacrifice.

So Atziri dropped me a disfavour the first time. I wonder what build would benefit this the most. Cyclone would be for me the obvious choice but I never did spectral helix so I don't know. Right now I'm a RF Inquisitor with around 170k clear dps. Not much but still fast enough for me even in t16 and can tank almost anything. Being tanky is a must for me so I will want to be a champion I guess. Anyone here with experience who could help me out here to choose the build for it ? Any insights appreciated!

With everything up, including berserk it gets around 1.5mil dps with no damage items other than the axe itself

The build is like 95% done I just couldn't find a good balance between getting fortify and impale nodes/support

The fortify nodes close to the duelist start only work if you have at least 20 so the mastery that gives fortify on hit is not enough since it reduces max fortification

But at the same time I feel fortify support is kinda weak for cyclone

I really wanted a decent focus on defense but perhaps I added too much? with +4 to all maximum res, a lot of leech and armour

Here are the changes that made me think about this build as a league start.

1. Atziri Disfavour will be dirt cheap

>Atziri’s Disfavour now drops from Atziri, Queen of the Vaal in The Apex of Sacrifice (previously in The Alluring Abyss).

2. They are buffing melee range and adding other sources of melee range

>Remove Melee Range from some Strike Skill Gems, and add new sources of Melee Range to the passive tree

>The following Skills no longer have “+0-2 to Melee Strike Range”: Dominating Blow, Double Strike, Vaal Double Strike, Dual Strike, Elemental Hit, Frenzy, Infernal Blow, Pestilent Strike, Puncture, Riposte, Static Strike, Smite, Viper Strike, and Wild Strike

(Nerf to Wild Strike, but it can be compensated by Disfavour)

>The Melee Strike Range Suffix modifier on Elder Gloves has been replaced with a new Suffix modifier that grants “13-16% increased Melee Damage” and “+2 to Melee Strike Range”. The Elevated version of this modifier grants “+3-4 to Melee Strike Range”. This change does not affect existing items.

>The Warlord’s Reach Unique Jewel now grants “10% increased Attack Damage” (previously 8%), and “+2 to Melee Strike Range” (previously +1). Existing items can be updated to these new values with a Divine Orb.

So in the end, we can reliably get +6 just from the Weapon, craft and jewel.

Please tell me if melee range even matters for cold Wild Strike :D

Now for Wild Strike.

2 Combat focus and Divergent Wild Strike gives us perma cold +5 projectile attack, but we can't use them as projectile on a single target for our purpose. For this we need a skill that allows us to strike it,thus proc the Wild Strike and release projectiles. And here comes the new Skill, Tornado.

Hi there! Actualy im using an nghamu slayer build, but ill swap to starforge soon. Higher hp pool cause of kaoms is too good :)

But i cant find any starforge guide beside, a realy bad one ,from angry role player on the official forum.

But i found several disfavour build guides, is this weapon so much better for cyclone slayer? Which of the two weapons has more survivibilty/ is more forgiving to mistakes?

Maybe someone has a good starforge slayer cyclone tree/gem links for me?

This isn't a weird thing to ask, because since the rare axes are WAY stronger than Disfavour it moved into second place (or rather, it became a transition weapon: something you'll get and use until you farmed enough currency to buy one of those crazies 780+ pDPS axes), but what I'm asking is: is there any build (please, not cyclone) that reliably uses it?
It has decent DPS and APS, so is there any build that makes good use of it? Like Bladestorm Gladiator or something.

I'd really like to see a boom in popularity/use of that weapon because it looks really cool and has a decent lore attached to it.

So this league I have invested more into my Cycloner than I have in previous leagues and I finally bought myself an atziris disfavour and kaoms. My problem is that I dont really notice a difference switching from my sinvictas mettle to the disfavour. Legion rares and map bosses still take a good while to die even though I have invested in impale and have a 600pdps 6 link. I also studied all the lvl 100s on poe.ninja and have copied the tree from what they all have in common.

Im super frustrated because i do not understand POB that well and cant check and see what I have done wrong.

How much of a difference does a lvl 21 cyclone do or the healm enchant? Those are two things im missing.

Today I was looking at Atziri's disfavour and I suddenly realized something. All along, I just thought the unique name is just a fancy name...

Then I realized today: "I do not believe in disguising my disappointment" means that the queen will take drastic action if disappointed by her subjects. And this action when looking at the axe...what do you think?

TL;DR: losing favour with the atziri queen+big fucking axe=atziri's disfavour IS the execution weapon for subjects who lost favour with the queen

I bought 2 sets of UberArziri to finish the trio challenge. First gave me a shitty Disfavour. Second gave me a shitty garb that I decided to vall and got a bricked 6link rare. Sold it for divine orb and used to my shitty disfavour. Got 16% and decent phys. After that I made 20% quality, used 100ish jewellers to 6socket it, 30ish fuses to 6link it. Someone in my guild told me that its just a luck and I have no balls to corrupt it. Okay. I started to build new temple. At 3d Incursion I got Corruption room level 3.... After that this happened...

Absolutely no idea how much it worth and how to use it... Any ideas?
