A list of puns related to "Depletion Zone"
I don't know if anyone notice that recently asteroid in save zone had decreased rapidly, where we have to fly at least 30km in order to find a thing. And I've noticed that the tutorial which it show you where to find your first asteroid is completely useless, since those marked locations have no asteroid around them.
I have a friend who joined the game even have a difficulty to complete those tutorials since he has absolutely no idea about the mechanism of the astroid. He end up near 40km from save zone to mine his first asteroid. (Maybe is his bad luck:)
My concern is, it will be much difficult for new players to start up time to time and there is a point where asteroid will completely depleted. New players then have to fly outside the save zone in order to start up. With the current depletion rate, I believe this situation will happen soon, maybe within 2 to 3 months will be my prediction.
So is there any solution to this problem? Maybe astroid regenerate only in those mining tutorials may help new players? Or they have to find old players and forced to join factions?
So as I am picturing it, since we have two intrinsic SC with the same concentration of p and n on both sides, unlike in a PN junction where electrons flow from n to p and holes flow from p to n, leaving n-side positively charged and p-side negatively charged which leads to an electric field, creating band bending an depletion zone.
Meanwhile, I picture the heterojunction of two intrinsic SC, here due to diffusions electrons and holes will difuse from SC A to SC B at the same rate (although electron mobility and hole mobility is different which may be the difference), which would mean there is no positive/negative charge on either side and thus no depletion zone/band bending.
Am I understanding this right?
Hi all, pretty new to the game but having a great time so far.
Looking at the various videos and posts on need zones I'm not too clear on how the number of animals attached to them changes as I hunt.
Say there are 5 deer attached to a feeding zone, I kill one and leave to a different area for a while. Does the killed deer eventually respawn so that need zone will have 5 deer again or is that zone now permanently down to 4?
Does it make any difference for need zone size if I shoot male vs female?
Does the number of animals in a need zone grow if I leave it alone? I have quite a few with only one in it and I don't want to wipe it out.
My understanding is that the electron is excited to the conduction band, travels around a bit until it encounters the depletion zone, then due to the electric force in the depletion zone, is transferred to the n-doped side. Then from here it would go through the load resistor. Why can't it just travel from the p-doped side through the load resistor?
Also, for a band diagram for a solar cell, what does the fact that there is a "hill" from the p to the n side mean in terms of the electron's energy?
Let's consider an electron on the ''N'' type of the semiconductor just outside of the depletion zone. The ''PD'' is the part of the depletion zone it faces filled with positive ions. I want to know from the view of this electron why it won't go and diffuse farther into the depletion zone in this equilibrium situation. The view I considered is the following and I would like confirmation or for someone to tell me why it's not very correct:
However this ''infinite plate'' is a very strong assumption. Without assuming that it gets quite ugly imo. Because then the positive ''PD'' part dominates over the negative ''ND'' part which is farther away. This means that the electrons will get a far distance into the depletion zone before the ''ND'' part will be close enough to start taking noticable effect in comparison to the ''PD'' part.
I didn't have a problem in the earlier betas but now after about 2 days and 20 hours in-game time, my miners are taking hours to fill their holds no matter where they get sent. Most ore and silcon stations also have hardly any stock which shows the AI miners are having the same problem. Even if I go to sectors with high values from their information tab my resource probes show >1kgm^2 for the most part. Antigone has about 5 on a probe but it's still taking an incredibly long time to get anything there.
I've basically not made any money from my 50 miners in the past 6 hours because of it.
I'm finding it quite frustrating to constantly run out of stamina when I'm out of combat just running around, especially in the hub. I would like to see stamina not deplete in the hub and deplete at a slower rate when out of combat.
There was no sound as thousands of Terran drop pods streaked through space towards the weaver colony world below.
At least not in space. Inside the drop pods was another matter.
"Congratulations boys and girls, you are all going to be in the history books." said Sergeant Moore over their armor coms system.
"For what sarge?" asked a marine.
"You mean apart from being big damn heroes?" joked another.
"Because if I'm reading this right, our squad is projected to be the first on the ground. We get to be the first humans in history to land on an alien world." replied the sergeant, as the first faint rumbling began inside the pods from atmospheric drag.
"Something to tell the grandkids about for sure" said their lieutenant, patching into their squad's coms.
"Sergeant, Gamma squad is to relieve the weaver militia at the north gate of the shield generator complex at the edge of City Alpha." he said, transmitting coordinates to the Sergeant's armor.
"What about their shield? We aren't going to splatter all over it are we? I'd rather not be bits and pieces" asked Sergeant Moore.
"It's taken care of. The fleet's tactical AI is interlocked with them, and will be telling them when to drop their shields for a couple seconds to let our forces through."
The sergeant nodded. He had been wondering about that.
"The rest of the company will land surrounding the enemy column. Hold the line while we get their attention. Good hunting".
"Yes sir." said Sergeant Moore as the Lieutenant signed out.
"You heard him people, today's gameplan is 'hold what you got'. Everyone get ready, we're entering atmo now".

Cauladra
It had been a few days since Leo returned from the slums, and the state he was in shocked everyone who was present for the ball. To think that Leo could become mana depleted at all was unthinkable after feeling that endless pool, and she guessed that maybe he didn't have control over it, which only stoked her curiosity even more.
Now that Cauladra was done with the rush of magical paperwork she had to help with, she was heading to Anasslia to drop her contract with the court. Despite the recent reason for her decision being her desire to learn more about Leo, the truth was that this was bound to happen.
Knowing Anasslia, she would have pushed for Cauladra to study enchanted stuff coming out of Telnar to see how she could use it against her enemies, and that infuriated her. Although Cauladra would love to spend hours testing and experimenting with the new runes, why would she settle for that when she could just go to the source?
Entering Anasslia's chambers, Cauladra saw that Qassria was present as well, but Anasslia looked a little irritated as she glared at Qassria. β...to do this mother, because you were right. I understand that it will be after Selaria is under your control, but I will be leaving as soon as that matter is settled.β
Anassliaβs eyes sharpened at her daughter. βWhile I am ecstatic that you've finally realized how foolish you've been, I thought I told you that you were to marry him. Do you not und-β She paused to arch a brow at Cauladra, finally noticing the passive observer. βYes? What do you need, I am in the middle of a private matter.β She remarked with a layer of hostility as she narrowed her eyes.
Cauladra briefly had second thoughts about announcing her resignation at this point in time, but she should get rid of it sooner rather than later, considering Anasslia's mood was starting to deteriorate after the ball anyway. "Anasslia, I've come to tell you that I'll be terminating my contract." She declared to the surprise of both selarins.
Anasslia's speechless state lasted for only a few moments before she started to direct her previous glare at Cauladra. "If I'm not mistaken, the contract stated that you we

Leo
The preparation and trip to the slums had been relatively quick and uneventful, with Leo having to fly about two hundred soldiers over to the location, along with Elaria, Allis, and Sairiss. Thorin chose to go on ahead and was waiting there when they all arrived, but his expression was grim as he looked into the mana cloak.
Although the map had shown a thick smoke cloud that obscured the entire area, Leo didn't expect to see anything visual when he got there. He was wrong, uncomfortably wrong. It was akin to looking into a fogged window, the area itself visibly warping into a slightly hazy mist. It gave the space an eerie and ominous feeling, like he was about to step into the twilight zone. The rundown and abandoned setting of the slums didn't help soothe his nerves either.
Leo cast his magic map and used it to collapse and barricade all the underground routes into the area, forcing any kind of retreat to be above ground. He then waited while Sairiss directed all of the soldiers to secure a perimeter.
Leo walked up next to Thorin while gawking at the area ahead of them. βWell, that's not unsettling at allβ¦β He remarked sarcastically under his breath as he stood outside the mana cloakβs very visible perimeter, about two short city blocks from the building he was supposed to enter.
Thorin grumbled in agreement. βAyβ¦ Thisβ¦ This is a lot heavierβ¦ Spells definitely wonβt form correctly inside it at all, that's why I said that your sound spell might not work, and now that Iβm looking at it I can tell you that nothing will be cast correctly in that.β He informed him with a concern that seemed directed at something else.
βSo like a mana inhibitor? Also, that limits me in a major way, what happened to you'll be fine?β Leo reflexively asked out of curiosity and genuine worry, because while he wasn't at a disadvantage, having nearly all his spells nerfed did cause his confidence to

The first issue: Level and Characters
While the initial Level 65 mobs are doable with the help of the trial characters, the scaling of the monster levels makes the final level a nigh impossible if you don't have a team that's at least Level 75. And that's just the issue with the level. If you could use the trial characters every run, then it would only be difficult, but because of the refresh mechanic, you're forced to think about which characters to reserve, making the originally casual gameplay a huge chore instead. If you make even 1 mistake with a team for a trial, you have to start all over again, rendering your last 20 minutes a complete waste. This makes the players that are on the mid to low end of levels struggle with the stages, and are forced to quickly level up or rely on luck to beat the challenge and earn the rewards.
The second issue: Enemies and Room Design.
Now you might be thinking: "Room design? What's with that?" Now, the room is a medium-sized box, which by itself is perfectly fine. However, the enemies/enemy placement makes the room a complete death sentence. In fact, it's so potent that every single stage up until the second domain (third hasn't been released at the time of posting) has a problem with it.
The First Domain: Dusty Wrack
Stage 1: The hilichurls shooters and Hydro slimes are annoying, but so are every other freeze enemy comp, so I'll ignore that. The main problem is the fat fucking Geovishaps. In a medium sized room where there isn't a lot of space, their huge AOE attacks almost always hit you unless your name is Xiao, or you get a lucky dash in. In addition, 2 of them constantly spinning, jumping and slamming the ground doesn't help matters. Chances are, one of them is shoving you around while the other is crapping out rocks everywhere. If you're shield breaks, you're getting tossed around like a ping pong ball. The huge health of the Geovishaps don't help.
Stage 2: Stage 2 is probably the easiest one, but the mass amount of Mitachurls at the end is quite the annoyance. Their moves cover a huge area, which, like the Geovishap's attack, make it hard to dodge. They also have decent knockback, making it very frustrating to fight without a shield.
Stage 3: God, I hate this fucking stage so much. First of all, 21 enemies is way too much, especially for this time frame with

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Welcome to the week 10 Official r/NFL Power Rankings! Usually these rankings are more solidified by this time, but the writers thought a midseason upset extravaganza would boost ratings. Last week featured losses to 6 top ten teams. This week not only had 5 upsets, but 4 of those were from the top ten, with 2 losing to bottom ten teams. Special shoutout to the Detroit Lions for their first (half) win of the season, progress comes in small steps. Discuss the parity! 32/32 reporting

1. | Titans | +2 | 8-2 | The Titans were able to push their win streak to six after a home win against the Saints for the franchise's 200th win as the Titans. Due to injury the Titans have played more people in games than any other team in the NFL, have had the toughest schedule to this point, but are positioned with the NFLβs easiest remaining schedule. Lost in all of this is some great quarterback play by Ryan Tannehill who has played with a depleted roster, bad o-line play and a stomach bug on Sunday against the Saints.
2. | Packers | +3 | 8-2 | Kevin King was the laughing stock of the league last year, and now he's faced Tyreek Hill and DK Metcalf in consecutive weeks and didn't get torched a single time. Has he improved, or has having actual good linebackers helped the rest of the coverage play to their full potential? Probably a combination of both. I suppose this is why Joe Barry gets paid the big bucks.
3. | Cardinals | -2 | 8-2 | We played a third string QB against a Carolina Panthers team with Cam Newton on it.
4. | Cowboys | +3 | 7-2 | 10 PBUs. 3 Picks. 2 Sacks. 1 combined third or fourth down conversion allowed. 3.8 yards per pass attempt allowed. 37% completion percentage allowed. This might have been the most dominant defensive performance by Dallas in a decade or more. Add in the special teams making big plays and the offense doing basically whatever they want, and I think that the mental speed bump the Cowboys hit last week is a thing of the past.
