A list of puns related to "Deltarune"
I've seen people who are anti-LGBTQ+ that have gotten all mad at people for talking about LGBTQ+ stuff in Deltarune. As a pan transfem, let me just say this.
How in the world can you be anti-LGBTQ+ and enjoy Deltarune? The following characters are LGBTQ+:
I know Susie being on the list will ruffle some feathers, so I'll explain myself. Chapter 2 has built Susie and Noelle's relationship quite a lot. You have Noelle giving Susie a lunchbox of chalk, the whole two girls in one cup joke that involves Susie and Noelle, the whole scene where Susie and Noelle enter a heart-shaped Ferris Wheel ride, Susie commending Noelle for standing up against Queen (Noelle saved Kris, Susie, and Ralsei's life). Susie even says she wants to hang out with Noelle more. Susie has also blushed multiple times at Noelle (chalk scene, Ferris Wheel scene). In Undertale, there was a strong focus on one WLW relationship (Alphys x Undyne). It seems quite likely that Susie x Noelle will be canon. Of course, that's just my opinion. If Krusie ends up happening instead, we don't even know Kris's gender. Krusie becoming canon does not mean Susie is automatically straight.
I mean the characters refer to Kris as they/them exclusively, and so does Toby. And Kris is not meant to be a self-insert, Toby makes that pretty clear. I could use more advice on this topic though.
Ralsei is potentially bi/gay.
And this is just the second chapter. To be fair, some of these relationships originated from Undertale, but still. Please let me know if I missed anyone, or any adjustments I need to make!
Edit: Even if you disagree with some selections on the list, there are definitely canon LGBTQ+ characters.
Anyways, the point is Deltarune is a game filled with LGBTQ+ characters. Yet I see toxic fans complain when someone makes an OC who is LGBTQ+, or when people are discussing LGBTQ+ characters or LGBTQ+ themes in Deltarune.
I've got some of experience in both games, I love the series as a whole, I think it's really cool and unique, but there's this one thing that's been bothering me... Undertale is rated E10+ for fantasy violence, mild blood, mild language, and use of tobacco, while Deltarune is rated T for just fantasy violence, mild blood, and mild language. Any reasons why this might be the case?
