Please share your experience if attended. Whatβs the worse and best part of attending it? Did you receive any aid/scholarships?
Hi everyone, apologize if this has been asked before. I am based in Maryland, USA and have been looking for classes nearby for learning motorcycles. Have absolute no experience riding motorcycles, but I do ride bicycles pretty well (not sure if that matters). Maryland MVA's website had a list of recognized training centers which included a mix of community colleges and Harley Davidson academies. Price wise the difference is hardly $50. Does anyone have any recommendations or their own experiences of which one is better?
thank you all again.

Hi people of A2C!
I've been lurking around this sub for the last 6 months but this is my first time posting here. Y'all have been so so helpful throughout the process and I ask for your help one last time: Davidson or Bates?
I'm really fortunate to be admitted to both these colleges but I've been quite annoyingly indecisive about where to attend. It would be great if you could give some insight into the pros and cons of one college over another! Maybe you considered one of these colleges or even attended them. Any little bit of information would really help :)
Some background information about me:
β’ I plan on majoring in Economics with Politics/Poli. Sci. and maybe go into policymaking later as a career(?) I definitely plan on going to graduate school after graduating, though.
β’ I'm a South Asian international student; kinda outdoorsy, love hiking and being out and about in general.
β’ My extracurriculars are primarily Rowing and Theater. I'm looking to study abroad and take up summer internships at college.
Any advise or information that you think might help me make a decision is appreciated!
Thank you :)
Hi guys! I've been admitted into both Davidson and NC State, but I have no clue as to where I want to go. I want to major in Philosophy w/ a Pre-Med track at Davidson and I would major in CS w/ Pre-Med at State. I can see myself on a big campus and living in the Engineering Village at State with my boyfriend, but I can also see myself starting new at a smaller college. Cost is not a factor, but I do wonder whether it is ethical to pay 3x the sum for similar educations. My parents and most of my teachers choose Davidson for me but I think that's only because of its' prestige. I would love any and all input!
Ivy League school principal called his students and asked them to jump in sea full of sharks.
They jumped.
Principal said: βSee the gutsβ¦β
Community College principal called his students and asked them to jump.
They said: "Have you completely lost your marbles, Mr. Davidson?"
Principal said: βSee the guts.β
Guys, can you please help me with this thing. I don't really understand what exactly needs to be entered there? What does the "Signature of Bank Official" mean? Do my parents need to go to the bank and get a stamp or what?
Not the schools everyone would think of as MVP-caliber schools. Every other MVP was drafted out of high school or from overseas (Dirk).
If you go back to 92' then Georgetown, LSU, Louisiana Tech, North Carolina, University of Houston, Navy, and Auburn can be added to the list. Probably less surprising with North Carolina or Georgetown, but still interesting to think about.
EDIT: Sorry Spurs Nation, I forgot Robinson went to Navy. EDIT 2: Technically, Rose's time at Memphis doesn't count I guess. But despite his wins being taken away, he still participated in the program and spent time there, so take it for what it's worth to you.
>With the declaration of a global pandemic, we as a community need to take significant, immediate steps to honor the priorities that have guided us in addressing COVID-19.Β These priorities remain what they have been:
>
> - Safeguarding the health and well-being of the campus community, especially those who are most vulnerable to COVID-19
>
> - Respecting the guidance of public health officials
>
> - Ensuring that students can complete their academic work for the semester
>
>Then two other very important priorities:Β
>
> - Ensuring, insofar as possible, that faculty members can continue research and scholarly work
>
> - Ensuring, insofar as possible, that other crucial educational opportunities remain available to students
>
>To honor these priorities now, we need to switch to remote instruction (mandating that all faculty move to remote instruction) and we need all students who can leave the residence halls to do so.

EDIT: We just received an email that someone in the Davidson community is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, and is under quarantine pending test results.
I'm an international student (Asia) and I'm considering to apply in Davidson College NC USA for Ed1, Im already kind of late as the deadline is in a month so I was wondering if anyone who has had experience with Davidson or studies there, could possibly help me. :)
Please don't ask for stats β you will receive a 1-day temp ban if you do.
