Hello friends!
I've started seeing my first pair of the Winslow Culottes. As I am an avid lover of anything stretchy, I'm using the Elastic Back Hack ( https://helensclosetpatterns.com/2018/05/04/winslow-culottes-hack-elastic-back/ ).
Everything worked fine so far, I even got it done quicker than I anticipated (and with less hick-ups along the way! Yay!). However: the next step is to sew on the waistband, and I am a bit confused. This might be a dumb question, but I don't understand the instructions in the hack. From the picture it looks like you see the waistband on top of the pleats/on top of the first few inches of the pants. Which seems weird to me? The original pattern (with the zipper) looks like the waistband will elongate the pants. It might be an obvious answer i',m missing here, but this is the first time I'm using an actual pattern and I already love my half-finished Culottes so much that I don't want to mess it up in the last step.
Any advice is much appreciated! β€οΈ
Just checked, total; 790000β¦.. very expensive. And I know I only need to get the painting like 11-12 times, but knowing my luck, and how βrareβ it is for me to get the proper one at the proper spawn, Itβll take me a LONG time. If anyone here also has had bad luck, tell me.
Edit: some stuff has to be changed, like the bracers and the belt. Changed the total to 775000
