A list of puns related to "Corm"
I've tried searching so much but all I can find are gardening resources. These terms must be botanically defined somewhere?!
BUYING: ISO corms for Azlanii, Red Cuprea or others. Also looking for an El Choco Red chonk/node
BUDGET: Unsure what the philo node would go for, but prefer to stay under $50. Corms around $10
TYPE: corms, unrooted wet stick or node
SIZE: 1-2 nodes of the philo, at least 1 corm of each alocasia type
IMPORTED/LOCAL: no preference, but prefer to buy from the East coast due to cold weather
PAYMENT METHOD: Paypal Goods & Services Only
Also posted on r/snakes but I want as much input as possible.
So my friend has a corn snake. Theyβve had it ever since Iβve known them. So about 5 years. I learned recently that they arenβt giving him a heat mat because βHe doesnβt need/use it.β When they did have one, they didnβt use a thermostat so Iβm assuming it may have gotten too hot for the corn to use. Not to mention the enclosure is maybe 2ft long at most with one hide and very little substrate. (This is an adult corn).
I fear that the snake is not getting the proper care, even though it is still alive and seems relatively healthy it worries me because Iβve heard of horror stories of snakes food rotting inside without the proper heat for digestion. Iβve only been keeping my corn for around 6 months but I did a lot of research before I got him. I am a bit nervous to bring up since they have been keeping snakes longer than me and I donβt want to make it seem like Iβm attacking their care. But I fear the snake is not being properly cared for.
(They also had a water snake that died of impaction recently, even after I explained why feeding in the enclosure can increase the risk of it happening.)
Any advice?
Hi friends,
I have several alocasias whose leaves died off despite all my attempts to care for them. I've let their corms sit dormant for a bit - does anyone have any guidance or experience to share on how long you have to revive an alocasia from 'bulb' before its beyond saving?
I ask because I have a small investment riding on this π¬ - I should have practiced on cheaper alocasias before going for the flashy ones! (I still won't buy cuprea or chantrieri - too afraid I'll kill em!)
TYSMIA!
