Is there a way to take the three resources and split them evenly onto one belt so the red circuits can be made? I'm a bit of a noob, and like to experiment with things, but this has me stumped.

Help with integrating this Split & Blend circuit into an FX board in one enclosure.

I'm using this schematic. I don't quite get the Send and Return thing figured out, so I'm not sure how should I wire it with an OD circuit (Benson preamp) that I just completed. I'd appreciate it if someone can help. Thanks.

Can I (ask an electrician) to add a 240v 30amp circuit to the bottom half of a split-but breaker panel?

Disclaimer: I'm not considering doing this work myself, I just want to get a better understanding of my predicament and options.

I'm trying to find a way to get a 240v 30amp (or 50amp ideally) circuit into my garage for charging an EV.

.

I have a 200 amp, split bus panel: https://imgur.com/88S0hSC

.

Here's the diagram: https://imgur.com/6XU5rwp

.

It appears that there is some space available in the subsection: https://imgur.com/sYw7FLX

.

According to the sticker in the panel, the subsection is limited to "100 amp max," and it currently is being supplied through a 60 amp breaker. Is it possible (and safe) to add a 30 amp 240v breaker in this section and replace the 60amp breaker feeding it with a 90?

.

If not, do I have any safe options for squeezing a 240v 30amp circuit in here without installing a subpanel?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Electric circuits] Why is there no current flowing on the right mesh (firs image)? Since there's a node at the top of the circuit and the circuit is fully closed, I would suppose that the current leaving would split between the two meshes in the beginning and then gather in the second node. reddit.com/gallery/r7vn76

How to wire a usb outlet with no termina for red as a replacement for a split kitchen circuit?

I have some outlets on a circuit where there is both a black and red hot wire. On a normal outlet you cab break the tab and just wire black and red separately to the terminals. Those outlets are connected to "joined" 2x15amps breakers in the electrical box.

My new outlet with usb ports does not have a terminal for the red wire. Just one terminal for white, one for hot and the ground. What happens to the red wire? Can I do this some way or will this be unsafe or violate code in some way?

How does the neutral load work for a 14/3 split circuit?

Was just thinking of this today.

I wired my garage plugs as split plugs with 14/3 wire. How does the neutral support both? Is it because they are out of phase? Like if the black hot is running 10 amps and the red hot is running 5 amps will the neutral be running 5 amps because they are out of phase? Or will it add to 15 amps?

THANKS

I want to use a capacitor in my circuit to smooth out the signal, but I also want to use the original signal later on, so I have to split the circuit into two independent circuits (I canβ€˜t simply use a diode, because there are negative voltages). How can I achieve this? Thank yall in advance!

Methods to split lights on same circuit

I have three outdoor flood lights mounted on my decks pergola all wired together and operating on the same switch.

The first floodlight get power from the GFCI and then supplies power to the other two floodlights.

I have swapped out the first floodlight with a smart security camera/floodlight combo. I would like this floodlight to remain on at all times, But I do not want my backyard lit like the 4th of July to do this.

I am looking for the easy and inexpensive fix to get the other two lights operating on their own independent switch. My idea is to add a switch in the wiring between the first and second light. Then I can keep the original switch for the security camera on at all times and control the other two from a separate switch.

In my head, this would require the least amount of materials and wouldn’t require purchasing much additional outdoor wiring to complete.

Beginner when it comes to electrical. Never done more than swapping fixtures or hooking up ceiling fans.

Any advice, feedback or alternative methods that don’t involve hiring someone (which should be obvious non option considering the sub we are all in) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Power trips for a split second without tripping the circuit breaker?

Yesterday was a pretty hot one in NYC, I was on my computer when I noticed the lights begin to flicker
intermittently then all of a sudden it goes dark and my computer dies. The lights go back on almost instantly and my window AC (which was running to begin with) stayed on without me having to press the reset switch on the plug. The time on my microwave also didn't reset back to 00:00 which happens when i pull the plug. I didn't need to reset the circuit breaker either.

It's only ever happened one time also during the summer when presumably the 4 other tenants in my building were using AC, but I'm more so worried about doing damage to my PC, it's an expensive gaming rig plugged into a surge protector.

My landlord is just an individual so I'm not sure he's well versed into circuits and electricity, but what could I tell him to look into? (other than having a pro electrician take a look)

idk if it matters but my building is a pre-war 2 story family home recently renovated to have 4 units including the basement. There's probably 5-6 window AC units all running at the same time from all the tenants in the summer

Looking for advice on adding a new circuit for a mini-split AC system. Am I overloading the panel?

Hi all,

I am looking to add a mini-split AC to my garage. There is a pool sub-panel near the garage and I was wondering if I could add a circuit for the mini-split (pink on the diagram) to the panel.

A friend took a look and said no - it will overload the panel. What do you think? Diagram below, the new circuit is in pink:
