A list of puns related to "Broadcast Network"
On my Roku there are apps for NBC, Fox, CBS etc. In order to watch the live broadcast I need an active cable subscription.
I tend to lean towards the guys at CBS where possible.

Hi all, linux newb here. I am wanting to install Ubuntu Server on an old desktop. To make a file server for my home network.
Is there a way to make this computer always show up in the GUI of other computers on the network? I want any computer to be able to pull files off this server, using only the GUI. Which in this case is KDE. That is my mission here, and my only goal.
So you'd just open the Dolphin web browser, click on "Network", and it would be there. You'd see the server Just ready and waiting for you to open it and drag files out. Is this something that is easily done? Is it something that is done during setup of the new OS on the server?
I'm asking because I've had some trouble accomplishing this in the past. Thank you!
If you like watching football and haven't seen Peyton and Eli's MNF broadcast, you're really missing out. From Eli's double bird, to Marshawn's F bomb, Strahan explaining his throat hold pic, and Peyton's breaking down the why behind certain plays, it's been a great way to watch. It makes me wonder if something like this were to come out for baseball, who would you want to see hosting?
Hi everyone,
I hope all is well. Recently, Bob Arum said he would like to put on a Lomachenko-Stevenson PPV bout.
My question is would it be better for the fighters (and sport in general) for that fight to be broadcast on ESPN or ABC?
We know boxing was once of the bellwether sports, and I think putting a big(ger) fight on a network would bring more attention to the sport and its competitors.
Imagine if we got recent fights like Fury vs. Wilder, Crawford vs. Porter, or any Canelo fight this past year on ESPN, FOX, ABC, or even Amazon Prime.
Considering PPV is not what it once was, should boxingβs powers that be use this option to increase the chances of boxing remaining viable in the long term?
Hello, bizarre issue this morning. As I said, I can connect to my modem just fine, but there is no wifi network even being broadcast. Not the usual "connected no internet" but the wifi network doesnt even appear in sny of my devices lists. When I go into the xfinity app it tells me the network is running just fine, but then I go to test speed to the gateway and it says something went wrong try again later over and over.
Ive tried power cycling the device, ive tried the xfinity online ping restart, ive checked all my cables and connections and theyre intact as well. The modem/gateway is warm but not overheating levels of hot. Cant figure out why its not broadcasting wifi but ethernet is getting 115% of usual service numbers.
There have been alot of xfinity trucks in my neighborjood recently, but I can't imagine why that would only knock out wireless, it makes me think its a hardware failure rather than networking, but I dont know how to troubleshoot/repair besides powercycling and reseating connections. Its a 3rd gen gateway (white square tower with an LED on the top for status and a sloped face)
I know in the past there has been the occasional NPB games on cable but maybe this will finally get us some easy to watch foreign ball.
IDk looking for silver lining
Our school Athletic Director is in the process of considering the NFHS Network "School Broadcast Program." From what I can see, the program will install a Pixellot camera system in our gym at "no cost" to the school, which will then allow live streaming of events. One catch of course is that the school must then subscribe to the NFHS Network to view the games. I'm wondering if any other schools have already gone with this program, and if there are any other catches or "gotchas" that I'm not seeing from my initial look?
EDIT: Thanks for the responses shared so far. The support after install is a question in my mind. Who is responsible to get things working again if the system is not functioning properly? Also, what happens if an outage occurs right before a scheduled broadcast? People have paid a subscription to watch the game, but if there are technical issues will our staff be responsible to troubleshoot and resolve? Will NFHS come after the school for any lost revenue from a broadcast that fails to happen due to technical difficulties?
Are there any FPV receivers that can connect to a local network and stream FPV video?
I'm looking for something that I can connect to with an iPad (or multiple) and have the video streamed. Latency doesn't matter because these are just for viewers/spectators.
Iβve searched on Broadcastify a few times with no luck.
YES I KNOW I CAN USE MY OWN ROUTERS!
I have 50+ devices in my home that are fed from 7 routers (1-Ubiquiti Alien, 6-Airport Extremes) with the Airports linked with power line adapters. My large home contains all masonry walls both exterior and interior and that is why it needs so many routers. No other solution. I've tried.
Once I get Starlink (Targeting Coverage 12th of Never) I am aware that I have to create a Starlink network. Unfortunately, I will NOT use the new Starlink network name for my home because it will be too time consuming and insane to change my 50+ devices.
Is there a page in the Starlink app similar to the Alien app shown below where I just change the NEW network name from Starlink to my OLD network name? I have learned not to re-use my old network name in creating a new (Starlink) network - drives my iPhone and iPads nuts with two identical names. I attempted that with the Alien - wow what a mess.
So I simply went to the Alien wireless settings page (after a factory default reset ) and put in the name of my existing network and all is great. As per the title of my thread, will Starlink broadcast in all its wonderful high speed if that page or some other method, exists?
I also saw instructions (also shown below) in Starlink support - will this accomplish the same thing? And yes, new router & rectangular dish will be here soon (ha!) and perhaps all new methods and a new app also.
Thanks!
PS I intend to keep my old Centurylink DSL for a while and use a Peplink Balance One Core failover device. According to my limited knowledge and the Peplink manual, I think I can accomplish what I need. Key word "think".
