Idk if it’s just me but I really don’t like Bob Kane, I feel kinda bad saying that since he’s dead but it’s true. I’ll always respect his hand in creating Batman, but the way he acted always irked me. From how egotistical he often came of according to people that knew him, several interviews, how he talked about himself, he traced, and of course the Bill Finger situation, all of it makes me have a bit of destain for the man. I’m just kinda curious about the general opinion on him.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was the first movie to give credit to Bill Finger, co-creator of Batman years after Finger's death. Before that, for more than 75 years Bob Kane was sole legal creator of Batman. Bill creations included Bruce Wayne, Gotham City, Robin, Gordon, Bat Cave and Joker.
In an interview for Cinescape, Bob Kane commented that he thought Val Kilmer was a better choice for Batman than Keaton. Saying that Kilmer fit the handsome Bruce Wayne that Kane had always imagined him to be and was also more physically fit than Keaton.
APPRECIATION: Bob Kane may have created the name, but Bill Finger created the perfect universe!

Bob Kane took 100% credit of what Batman is from Bill Finger! Yes, Bill Finger is finally credited, but honestly I’m disgusted that Bob Kane didn’t have the balls to spit out the fact that Bill Finger was the genius who made Batman, Batman! Bob Kane was an idol to many only for that idolization to be from a lie! If it weren’t for Bill Finger, there would be no Batman! At least the Batman that’s iconic and loved!
