A list of puns related to "Blackfly"
Are the blackflies out yet on the Bruce Peninsula? What do people find the most effective way of dealing with them? Black Magic perhaps?
When are the blackflies out in the Adirondacks? I'm planning a multi day hike with a hairless dog in mid June. I've heard that June can be bad but someone just told me that the season is happening now, and June should be ok.
Thanks in advanced!
Was outside all week including yesterday and didn't see one. Today I saw thousands and got several bites.
Outdoors people enjoy your one month of misery.
Anyone heard anything about Blackfly, Opener? They have been quite for almost 1 year, but prior to this seemed like one of the more forward developed teams.
Hey guys,
I'm planning on using a few blackfly S usb3 camera's for a project I'm working on. I wanted to know if I should get a lens protection for the camera as I expect it to be exposed to sunlight for long hours. Any other specifics regarding the camera would be helpful too.
Blackfly Mire
Located a mere half-dayβs walk southwest from the township of Jelly Cove is Blackfly Mire. Certain portions of Blackfly Mire are more infamous than others. The Sucking Bog area of Blackfly Mire is probably the most infamous milieu of the swamp. While Basidium Glade is one of the more famous locales due to the wide variety of mushrooms (of edible as well as medicinal and poisonous varieties) which grow there.
Blackfly Mire is poorly suited for horses and other large mounts. Most horses will refuse to go further than a dozen yards into the mire willingly and those which can be coaxed or bullied into the mire might founder and drown unless their rider takes very good care of them.
The Basidium Glade section of the mire is home to a thriving colony of sprites led by Nip and Gring. Nip is a sprite thief (level 3) and Gring is a sprite sorcerer (level 6). Nip is by far the friendlier of the pair and the other sprites tend to follow Nipβs lead, especially when dealing with βmortalsβ or simply non-Fae (Monster Manual page 283.
If the partyβs behavior is acceptable by sprightly measure and the party treats the sprites well, Nip will caution the party about the more dangerous portions of the mire (βtalliesβ sinking into the Sucking Bog, Soggybottom, and that olβGaslight (a local will-o-wisp) is haunting the Stillwater Pool and the edge of the Sucking Bog further to the southwest, hags, etc.). If the party is threatening or outright evil, the party will be harried by well-coordinated ranged attacks by between two and five dozen sprites until they are A, chased completely out of Blackfly Mire or B, herded into a surprise attack by one of the mireβs more dangerous inhabitants.
Β· Basidium Glade β a section of Blackfly Mire known for its relative dry footing, as well as being home to scores of different rare fungi having edible as well as medicinal and poisonous natures. Basidium Glade is inhabited by a thriving community of sprites (see Nip and Gring above) who make their home along with their numerous companions in a villa of sprightly proportions built in and around a hollow of the Basidium Yew a massive and ancient yew tree.
Β· Fennelpond Fen β a pond deep within Blackfly Mire home to the Annis Hag Gristle and her Green Hag sisters Gobsmack and Brokebeak (Voloβs Guide to Monsters Page 159 and Monster Manual page 177) and their banderhobb servants (Voloβs Guide to Monsters page 122). The Hags m

I am currently doing a project with a FLIR Blackfly camera (BFS-U3-120S4C to be exact), and have not been getting a low enough reprojection error in my calibration experiments.
I know that manufacturers often have the intrinsic parameters and distortion coefficients available, and FLIR has a Spinnaker Python API to operate their cameras and they advertise them as Machine Vision cameras, so I strongly suspected that this would be the case for them.
However, I have not been successful in finding this in my Google searches. Does anyone know of FLIR have given out the values for these parameters somewhere?
Thanks for the help!
Seriously, how to you keep on top of blackfly?
I have two patches and everything I grow there is covered with blackfly.
I've tried horticultural soap, neem oil, horticultural soap AND neem oil, I've tried washing liquid, even provanto bug spray.
The most joy I've had is to jey wash them off the plants, but of course overnight they come straight back.
Other plots do have blackfly but not the way my plot has them.
Any suggestions on how to get them under control?
When I go outside to vape at work, I am swarmed by blackflies (where I work is surrounded by woods). It's worse when a cigarette smoking coworker comes with me; they stay away from the cigarette smoke but seem to love my vape clouds.
I wonder if there's a flavour that keeps the bugs away. Or maybe flavourless? Would be great if there was a solution. Any thoughts on this?
Considering making the switch from my Mohawk Probe 12 to a smaller more nimble craft. The boats above look amazing, and would love to hear from other open boaters that made this switch. Iβm 54 years old, and the though of humping up from section 3 of the Chattooga with the probe makes me want to stick to paddling the Nantahala. Is there a way to test drive one of these?
